Dr Mwamba’s Reviews. Are they real?
Ajamilo replied to Jay00's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
In fairness he was not looking for caucasian hair texture but afroamerican people. Is a big difference -
Dr. Pittella - 6744 grafts - 36 years old

Damn that looks solid and clean as usual. If this one also becomes a successful one, then I do not see why he should not be recommended here. -
Question on donor over-harvesting
Ajamilo replied to GoliGoliGoli's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
If you deplest your donor homogenous is better than some places. But you have to do it with a good doctor who understand this. Dr. Mwamba is really good at donor management and also Dr. Pitella. Mwamba did it excellent with my donor so now i can grow it out without looking weird. -
In fact that you are again in another thread defense mode to defend that clinic is not shocking. I would have been shocked if you had not been here to be honest. Your last 60 posts on your activity log are just about that clinic. Either to promote it in various threads or to comment on topical DUT as again you refer to fueclinic or to bump up threads to those who have gone to that clinic. Someone need to be honest about their association with their clinic. I would not even talk and spend years of my time to defend or talk about my closest friends clinic. But anyway, the others who have commented on the thread starter's post have a good point. Even if this is confirmed, I have nevertheless seen so many strange cases that I still doubt from how the post is writen

Advice on potentail hair transplant
Ajamilo replied to Orion2's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
You should first give finasteride at least one year before any surgery. It looks like you have DUPA in your donor area and i would not recommend any surgery without using any DHT-blocker such as finasteride or DUT. in the meantime i strongly advice you too shave of your hair. It's better aesthetically than holding on to hair that does no good to your look. You will look better with your head shape and possibly like it with your beard grown out too -
Yeeh, no normal person create a profile 12 hours before and praises a doctor like that. Even if he provide so-called picture where he shows it. this is internet and the way he starts the post is not rational.

This is my donor fully shaved after a ht.

It looks pretty decent honestly. No one would imagine that is something wrong with your fade/donor -

It is really sad to hear what you are going trought but it is always a way trought this. How is ur hair type? If it is curly and kinky i would strongly advice you to do more research and look at other options Good luck and hold us update- 140 replies

Looking for some advice on African hair transplant

Have you tried oral minoxidil? Or topical minoxidil and dermarolling? You have a lot of vellus hairs that could be reversed -
Repair transplant - what are my options?
Ajamilo replied to redacted's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Honestly with some concealer such as toppiks or another hairfiber you would have noo see trought and full of head. I would not recommend another HT since you already have usen 7000 grafts and are still under 30 years old. Take your time, use perhaps some smp to make it visually better and enjoy ur life -
I got scars on the hairline and also cobblestoning. I had a video consultation with Dr.Wong when i shaved it down and that was the first comment he said because the scars was visible trought the entire hairline so he was wondering where i went. After what i got told regarding the cobblestonnig is that recepeint sites was not done deep enought. I dont know who fault it is since it is not only mwamba who is working on you. At least 50 prosent of the time is another doctor name Ali that was working on me. Is really sad and depressive because i paid a lot more money to be safe and do my best but i got scars, cobblestoning and bad growth on the hairline from them

Which doctor shall I choose
Ajamilo replied to Momo said's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I would have stayed away from Eugenix too. They are really good with caucasian and indian hair but you would not find any patients with afro hair that has documentet their journey with them. Also, they only sended me 1 pic because of the GDPR and i understand that. It was long distance picture where u cant even see the hairline or the scalp properly. So yeah dont go there if you dont want to gamble -
Has anyone heard of Heva Clinic?
Ajamilo replied to Afro's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
You should really stay away from Turkey but i have also heard previously that HLC do afro hairs but have never seen any patients from there. I would suggest you to do your own research on afro hair too since it is really difficult topic. Some doctors have been given the title "specialist" without proven any afro patients documenting their journey. -
The spanish doctors are elite and then it goes down. Dr Couto is the best of the best i guess so lol is really hard to get him. I would have choosen Dr pinto, Dr.Freitas, Dr.ferreira and Dr.feriduni in that order.

Aha then you are lucky bro. I got scarred on my hairline with bad growth and i went to mwamba. I had consultation with Dr. Wong on skype and the first thing he could see was the scarring on the hairline. He adviced me tho too use creams but not sure if that would help honestly. But i will follow your journey and hopefully you get the density that you wish. But what did you do in the time of the waiting on 2nd surgery? used toppik on the blue area or just used caps?
-
Is that blue area that did not almost grow scarred now? Did "the most esthetic" implant anything on that area? Did they give insurance that it will grow this time?
-
Have you contacted them @Captain Haddock? Wtf they over harvested you without anything necessarily. They could have spaced out the extraction and you would not have this problem

Painful decade long journey. 34 yo | 3x HT
Ajamilo replied to track_rat's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
You can also try to perm your hair so it becomes curly and more similare to beard hairs on the crown. You look a lot better in the hairline than prior the surgery and more coverage in the crown. -
What is the difference between dermapen and dermarolling tho? Honestly apart from the big price difference, I do not see the argument for angle and controlling the depth ect should have so much to say objectively
