So Demirsoy did all the extractions of the grafts, and the incisions then he went home. There were 3 nurses doing all the implantations which took hours. If there was one person doing it, the surgery would take to long which is not good, so there has to be multiple people doing the implants. They were all talking non stop the whole time in Turkish, like they would have been over coffee. None of them really spoke any english as far as I remember. I think the final number of my grafts was around 2200. It looks like less then 1/3 of those "survived". Is it from the insane pain I went through for the last 30 mins after the local anesthetic wore off? Or the extreme swelling I got with Demirsoy? (I was brutally disfigured for a week with insane swelling like I have never seen anyone have before, way way more then what is normal). Did the nurses have a poor implant technique? Was it some other factor that I don't know about? Who knows? I just did exactly as I was instructed for the post surgery procedure (no coffee, no swimming, I don't smoke anyway, sleeping sitting upright, etc) and protected my grafts like crazy. So who knows. It makes me wonder why they ignored me when I sent some pictures to them after a year, showing this not really good result.....

Ah bro, I am so sorry to hear about that :(( Actually, for the last 2 years I just brushed my hair over the areas where it was thin to try and hide it, its why I grew my hair a bit longer, but It was still really obvious and looked terrible. But it was all I could do. Thank you for your well wishes!

No, the blue area of the failed first transplant did not seem to be scarred. There were no assurances at all from either of the surgeons. In fact, the guy who did the incisions in my scalp the second time was actually a third party guy. He kind of snuck in and out. Ideally I would like to be introduced to someone who is making 2300 holes in my head... I even had to ask who he was as I wasn't told, and he was described as a 'mentor'. Didn't make me feel so easy. But yes, the most esthetic implanted around the sparse hair that was left from Deimirsoys effort.

Both were about 2300 grafts each. Its a bit hard to tell, because when the scab is there, it looks totally different, and when the scab falls off, the hairs mostly fall out with it. I have no idea if the implants were dense or not in the first surgery, or if the grafts somehow didn't make it. I wonder if its to do with the amount of pain I went through for the last 30mins of the surgery that stressed it all. Also the swelling and the bleeding of the first surgery was 3-4 times worse then the second time. I took so much care for months too, not to damage the hair follicles. I am perplexed as to why the first surgery turned out so bad.

If I could go back, I would of gone to one really good surgeon who guarantees their work, as opposed to paying twice - with money, pain and time.

The pain I went through for the last 30 mins alone was enough to make me never want to go back, but also you can see how thin the hair is where he did the transplant. There is barely anything there. And finally, there was not one message ever asking how it went, and when I contacted them a year later with an update, they said they would get back to me and just ignored me. ** edit - the other side is a bit better (thicker) then this, but not by much. The hairs are so far apart that it looks really unnatural and I had a lot of people comment on the procedure because it was so obvious.

Men, I got my first transplant with Dr Demirsoy - And my second one with some guys call "the most esthetic" - I researched Demirsoy myself (took me a long long time to decide) in 2020, and I went with a friends recommendation secondly with "The most esthetic" in 2022. I had to get a second transplant because unfortunately the results from Demirsoy were really poor. One side that was transplanted was so thin it was crazy, and the other was better but still sub par. Worse off, there was absolutely zero after service care. I never received any message or anything from them and even after one year when I sent some pictures of the results they said they would get back to me and never did. So definitely did not want to go back. This led me onto the next surgeon, who frankly speaking I was very unsure about, the website doesn't list any names at all, so that was a huge red flag, but my friend told me they were really good and had been happy with them, so I trusted and went. First thing is first, they were really friendly, but, friendliness isn't everything. When I got to the hospital where they operate, I was less then impressed. The "consultation" (if you call it that) lasted just a few minutes and then I was asked for the money straight away so we could start They were in a big hurry. I actually came to get transplants on my crown, as was advised when I sent pictures that it would be ok, but then when I arrived they said there was too much hair there and they risked damaging what was there. The hair was close together but was so thin that it felt like it was balding when I touched it, when in fact there wasn't room to add transplants for risk of damaging the pre existing hair. Ok, that was fine, I can handle that, nevertheless it was unnerving to be told that I had come all this way for something that I couldn't get. Their excuse was that the pictures I sent were bad, but then I was wondering why they didn't ask for better pictures (I think the pictures were fine, but they knew I wouldn't of come if they had told the truth). So I decided to go ahead and fix up the forehead where the hair was so thin and looking terrible from the last transplant I had gotten from Demirsoy. One thing to mention was how dirty the room was with the most esthetic. Demirosy at least had an exceptionally clean operating room, whereas the most esthetic appeard to be not be clean at all, especially for a room where surgery's take place. Both the consultation room, and the surgery room were quite dirty, with plaster peeling off the walls and the bins were overflowing with bloody bandages. I was less then impressed and wanted to pull out then and there but I had already given over my money. I thought to myself "as long as the transplant is good, then literally nothing else matters". When I did my transplant with Demirsoy, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The pain killers ran out when they still had 30/40 minutes to go of implanting hair and It was the MOST EXCRUCIATING thing of my life. I could feel the forceps digging into each little hole as the 3 nurses planted the hairs in. I was nearly passing out with pain. I told them, and they said that it would take 30 minutes for the painkillers to work anyway (which I see now is a big lie, so they must of ran out of local anaesthetic), so I just put up with it. It was really bad. The opposite happened with the most esthetic. As soon as I was in the tiniest bit of pain, they gave me an injection and it was all gone instantly, so on that front, the surgery was good. Lunch was terrible however, some disgusting food from the hospital - If it was my business I would order in something really nice from an outside restaurant, but only because I am the sort of person who cares about the service I give. So that was disappointing, but hey, something small. So fast forward 6 weeks, and this is the result so far in the pictures. The hair is really patchy where the harvesting took place, but the doctor at most esthetic has assured me that the patchiness and also how obvious it is where the grafts were taken from at the back will get better with time, and I will be able to have my normal skin fade on the side without looking like a street dog. But I am not sure. I think that it has been over harvested, but I guess only time will tell. I will try and get some pictures of Demirsoy's work before my second transplant but I lost my old phone, so I will search around, but you would be disappointed anyway. All these pics are from the most esthetic, with the latest ones 6 weeks post surgery.
