HT #2- October 28th/29th
I hopped on the plane from the east coast of the US and flew 14 hours into New Delhi for round #2 with the focus on the crown. Temple points, which I wasn't going to touch as not to use precious donor were touched up by the doctor by using donor from nape of the neck which can't be used for anything else. Overall, I was much more relaxed for round #2 knowing what to expect.
The staff is absolutely incredible at Eugenix as care is taken by everyone to ensure your well being. The surgical staff, like last year, executed with efficiency and care. I consider Eugenix like a second family and have made many close connections with staff. Their new surgical facilities are impressive and the entire operation seems to have been taken to the next level.
In total, 3.648 grafts were extracted with 1,100 coming from the beard to bring my total between the two surgeries to 9,132 grafts (2,300 from the beard).
Assuming everything heals well, the hope is that there could potentially be 2kish more scalp grafts to use if needed in addition to beard grafts- while my hair is not super dense by nature, since my hair is curly, the doc said he could extract more and when grown out would look full in the donor. Fingers crossed :).
The positivety and good vibes you sent last time were greatly appreciated- please keep sending them my way.
Much gratitude to this amazing forum, especially @Melvin- Admin! I have received so much education and am grateful to have to opportunity pay it forward!

Hiya Stewie
I had an SMP consult yesterday for a density fill …on reflection I just don’t think it’s for me …I’m at a stage where I don’t worry about my donor due to the great work done by Eugenix ..Im a bit concerned about doing one more HT involving scalp donor might fix density concerns but open up donor ones …had a chat with Dr Sethi yesterday..he thinks I look fantastic and it’s time I call it a day ..im tending to agree with him.
You do look great @Zoomster- From an observer, the areas of concern to you are minor to my eyes and only noticable upon scrutiny. As you know, you always have the slick back approach in your back pocket to create a further illusion if so desired.
Even without touching scalp donor, your beard could probably yield you quite a bit more if so desired, but if you call it a day now, you exit as a GOAT!

Hey @Berba11!!! Thanks for pinging me bud! I just started a new job and have been knee deep in work, which has unfortunately kept me from posting much in the forum. I also wanted to wait a couple of months as the gains tend to be slower in the later months.
Can't believe it's 1 year already! Its been a wild ride! I'm so fortunate to have made the best of friends throughout this whole journey. The transplant was honestly the cherry on top, the real gift was the journey to get here and all of you in this amazing forum. I could have never done it without all your support.
I've seen so many oysters turn to pearls from the Eugenix team and I can't thank @Eugenix Hair Sciencesenough for changing my life in so many ways that goes well beyond ever just getting your hair back!
God Bless🙏
It's been a wild ride @MazABand glad I was (am) able to share it with you.
Oh and BTW...incredible hair!

Hello all,
Have some recent pics to share. Been super busy with life. I would never have allowed myself to be this busy if I hadn't chosen to embark on this journey and fix the most fundamental problem I was gifted. Simply having hair, as a young man should, was by far the most important thing I needed to take care of to simply pivot to a feel-good daily life.
4 months post-HT #2; 13 months post-HT #1
Combed backwards for evaluation as requested (I don't wear it like this daily):
Obviously, considering my original starting point and the massive area to cover, it's not super high density. But the great thing is that really no one even cares or notices. It's enough that it appears as a pretty normal head of hair to the vast majority of people.
Here are some more pics of forward-laying (hair is often just messy; I still wear hats so I don't spend too much time on the style; most days I just spray in a tea tree oil conditioner and ruffle it up and go):
Here you can see the progress on the rear lower crown; growth starting to come in stronger the last few weeks. I have just been buzzing the back and sides myself at home once a week, so don't be too hard on the look; I haven't been getting it consistently professionally faded yet. Once the growth kicks into consistency, then I'll have it faded by my barber every week:
Hairline region:
And finally, you can see where there is some see-through when looking directly down from the top. This is no surprise; as said earlier, I am very realistic about density. I was thinking about buzzing all the hair shorter to uniform length, but I'm a bit afraid of the density still being too low to match the sides and back, and it looking too diffuse:
I purchased fibers last month and used them once or twice and yes, they do a good job at visually filling the transparent-risk regions. However, I don't see them as something I want to use on a regular basis as I am very active and have to change my clothes multiple times a day as I engage in varying responsibilities. The fibers come off as dust on your hands and clothing, and ultimately are incompatible with water and the elements.
I am thinking about if there's anything else I'll want to do in the future for appearance of added density. An option as mentioned months back is SMP on the recipient area to create that illusion. If I were to do that, I'd have to buzz my hair all the way down to a short buzz-cut and then have it done. And I would just have it done on the entire top to help even the appearance out with the back and sides as much as possible. If I decide to do this, I'd want to do it this winter. But still undecided as I haven't seen enough cases of it yet to evaluate its success on others.
Looking excellent @general-etwan- You are right on track! As you mention, even at this point you have the appearance of a pretty normal head of hair!
As your donor recovers over the coming months and hair grows in, it will reach a new level. I think as you blend the donor with the crown, it will look even better.
Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds over the coming months.

Hahaha, three months prior my procedure, I also didn’t go for any trim because I knew I’ll get free trims 😂
a great journey of 12 months. Would be waiting for the crown part. Any plans on addressing hairline or mid zone for more density ?
That is a VERY good questions @Shadmanand one I have deliberated on.
While in an ideal world, I would add density to the midscalp, I am not inclined to do it now as properly styled and at good length, my scalp is pretty much hidden even in harsher lighting.
For this reason, my plan at this time is to address the crown ONLY with the proposed 3k grafts, which they feel would take to fill it with ample density.
When the doc saw me in Philadelphia, he thought I had around 5-5.5k grafts left for use (3-3.5k scalp and at least 2k beard). If I go with this strategy, I should have at least another 2k grafts or so to play with after the upcoming procedure.
It is tempting to dump several more hundred into the midscalp, however, my aspiration is to have an equivalent (or near it) amount of density between top and crown rather than having one more heavily favored which is why I am opting for this strategy. In addition, I many times hear people say that they wished they had a little more density in the crown.
With the hopefully minimum of 2k grafts left after this upcoming procedure, I could have flexibility should hair loss progress or I want more density in one area.

Month 12
Finally...1 year. It seems like an eternity ago since I had my procedure. No major changes to report. The length, I think allows for better illusion as I have not cut the top for the entire year. I tried to capture photos with different lighting and combing.
I am super grateful for the results and hope they stick around :).
I debated about getting a trim, but I figured I would wait as they give 'free' trims when you have a procedure...stay tuned for the crown :).

just a week or so over 8 months, not seen a big difference over the last month or so, hair is now just shy of 2 inches long so kind of in a weird spot for how I style it, not long enough or heavy enough to go forward properly, doesn't go to the side properly, but to long to spike up, so its kind of fell naturally into managing to comb it back if I use a hairdryer to force it to stay down as it just tends to do its own thing. Not used any products as tried hair powder I had seen other go on about but it left my hair feeling very greasy and tacky to touch so not used it since, might try it again at some point as it did look thicker when it was on
near 3 months on oral minoxidil so hoping in a couple of months time I might start to see some benefits from that
from the front and sides to me its looking great if I style it right, my OCD of course always finds the worse bits and where it's see thru on top and sides etc, but I am getting better at just letting it be also and have had a lot of great comments where mates who have known me for years think I have just grown my hair and can't remember if I was bald or not until I tell them I got it done ha
my only gripe (and its a small one I guess) is the beard hairs are annoying, they do what they want and the texture compared to my head hairs is quite sharp and like wire compared to the others, but like I say its only a small thing and hopefully overtime they might calm down like others have mentioned?
tried to capture it facing the light head on and away from it in the office to give a true reflection on how it looks
Incredible!

Hi @Capelli21- Looking good already and remember that you are ONLY 4 months post procedure. More good stuff to come!

Looks good @ZeeMan- I am wondering what it would look like to grown top longer and comb backwards to provide more of the illusion of density to the crown.

I've asked some photos of the beard for feedback on scarring (he just said theres absolutely no scars and the skin feels good quality on the harvested area). It seems that the extraction from face and beard using a small punch may act as a "skin peeling" procedure. All patients refer improvement of skin quality on harvested areas.
soon more updates

Kind of unsure why my hair has been looking so dry and unhealthy the past few weeks. Not sure if the barber just didn’t do a good job cleaning up the top this time or what.
But my hair is always so dry looking. What products do guys use to keep more of a moist look all day? I’m really struggling with the styling of it at this length and not sure why it’s not looking better than a few months ago.
Directly under gym light
Looking good @general-etwan- What would it look like instead of combing forward, if you combed backwards instead. I am curious as to whether the density would look even better.

Thanks! Yes and the shed has already begun.
The patience game begins.when does the redness and skin irritation subside typically?
You're welcome. My redness took probably 3-4 months to completely subside (although not really noticible after several weeks), others happen sooner

DAY 10 Update:
Hi everyone!10 days have passed since my HT. There is still a little irritation here and there on the donor area. I can see it is healing though!
I connected with Eugenix about hair graft coming out on day 8th while massaging the scalp and they confirmed it was a graft since there was a little bleeding as well.I have to do my 4th head-wash today. As of now, I still have a few scabs which didn’t come off until yesterday and I am not forcing them to come off either.
I am sharing photos of today. @Experts of this group please do provide your inputs on how everything is looking?
Hi @Singh1276- This is all looking good and normal to me. I am 11 months post-Eugenix and am super happy with results (you can check my thread).
Like you, I and lots of others) was completely paranoid with the head wash, scabs, etc...it is totally understandable. I took until about the 10th or 11th day for all scabs to come off (4-5 head washes).
I think your scalp and donor look excellent- totally on par- as there seems to be only a couple of scabs left. Definitely trust the Eugenix Care Team with this process.
Any BTW, don't worry if you lost 1 graft, it will not make a difference in the outcome.
I am guessing your final scabs should come off in the next day. After that, just protect from the sun for a few months and sit back and relax as the outcomes unfold :).

Great result! But I see that the redness is not gone yet?
Hi @vortex898- I see the photo you are referring to. I think that is more the bright lights and me lifting my eyebrows to create tension which is causing redness. When I look into the mirror and even close up with bright lights, there is no redness.

11 Months
Here you go, everyone- Tried to get photos in different kinds of lighting. Simply put, I am delighted!
Hope these photos help those of you who were like me, less than a year ago deciding on where to go and questioning whether I was making the correct decision.
I was pretty confident going to Eugenix based on the results I saw from other NW6/7 comrades who went there, but you never know how it will turn out on you.
I've said it before, it is the people on this forum who post their photos and talk about their experiences which makes this a treasure trove of knowledge and wisdom. Thank you!
