Third Sitting
So, have just done a third (and final sitting) for 3018 grafts.
Plan
Before I came for the third sitting, my focus was solely to improve the density in the crown area. I felt by adding density to the crown area, I would be very pleased with the outcome.
After meeting with Dr Sethi and assessing my hair, he believed there was scope to improve my existing hairline and temples, after addressing my crown density. I was super cautious about adding anything to my hairline, mainly because I was completely happy with what I had from the first sitting, and ultimately, I am high Norwood and understand my limits. However, Dr Sethi assured me that he didn’t want to lower the hairline (thus retaining the 8cm above the glabella height). The plan was to slightly tweak the hairline design to give what he calls a “three peak” design, which is essentially three mini-widow’s peaks (as opposed to one big one), which would break up the prominence of my large flat looking forehead. He assured me that this would only require 350 grafts. Ultimately, for 350 grafts, I felt this would give a lot of bang for the buck.
550 grafts, were also used on my temple’s points. Because of my blonde hair, Dr Sethi felt that adding in some additional softer hairs would help increase the shade, to give a sharper appearance. I was a little reluctant at first to do any temple work, mainly because I was more than happy happy from the first sitting results. I also emphasised that I did not want to waste any grafts in the hairline and temples, which would be better served in the crown. However, he explained the zones where these hairs were being taken from except for 40 grafts (to be used to improve density behind the temples), there would be no such compromise. The remaining bulk of the grafts were used to improve mid-scalp and crown density. After this discussion I happily agreed to this plan.
So of the 3018 grafts used in the third sitting, 350 were used to improve the hairline, 550 were used to sharpen up the temple areas and the remaining 2118 grafts (1,005 scalp & 1,113 beard) were used to improve mid-scalp and crown density. In total that brings me to a gigantic 11,166 grafts (7,553 scalp & 3,613 beard).
Experience
Once again, I have been blown away by the Eugenix team, it would simply be impossible to thank everyone. But I just want to again highlight the exceptional technicians, their work ethic and efficiency are just another level. Also a huge shout out to the non-surgical staff, who work extremely hard to cater for your needs, and make the surgery day as smooth as can be process.
Also, I got to hang out with the legendary @Gatsby while I was there, and his results are even more breathtaking in person. I also hung out with fellow forum member @Stewie, whose hair results again are just phenomenal. It's so amazing to get to witness these results in person, as it just gives you a feel for how far the industry has come.
Also, it would be remiss not to shout Dr Sethi. The guy is just a true master of his craft. A thousand thanks are just not enough, for the transformation he has given me. He always wants to challenge himself to give his patients the best possible outcome. For my situation, I don’t believe there is better a surgeon to have taken on my case and if I could have my time again, I would not hesitate to choose him and Euegnix clinic again.
Summary
In one sense it feels bittersweet that I’m coming to the end of my hair restoration journey. I have always worked on the premise that it was a three-step process to get where I needed to be and have stuck to that plan. On the other hand, I’m super excited to see this final surgery grow and put the icing on the cake. I can safely say that’s me done with hair restoration. I’m looking forward to growing and doing regular updates.
Dang @Bandit90- When I look at the photos you have provided before this last surgery, it was already looking PHENOMENAL- even the crown! I am not sure if I would have even ventured back for a last time if I had this after two surgeries. Another 2k+ grafts in the mid-scalp/crown is going to make this truly UNBELIEVABLE! I am so happy for you and looking forward to seeing this journey unfold for a 3rd time.

Great post @Frosted Flaked- My heart goes out to you and when I read your journey my heart ached!
So glad to hear about your renewed confidence as I can FEEL it through your writing! I think you look great as you have accomplished what you set out for the 1st leg of your journey and you have another several months of growth ahead of you.
With new hairs popping through, grown out at a certain length, styled accordingly and a 2nd procedure, you will look as if you have had no hair loss. Until then, all is still looking solid, especially with your short hair-SMP combo.
I am so glad we met in Philadelphia and I could tell it was very theraputic for you as it was for me.
@Frosted Flakedis as nice and humble as a guy whom you'll ever meet! Now, go begin living some of those lost decades as the world has a ton to offer you!

So it’s been 12 months since last surgery. I fly out next week for what should be the very last HT I ever have. To say I am happy with where the Eugenix team have got me in this surgery is an understatement. From slick bald most of my life to having hair again is a weird feeling and I know how blessed I am to be in this position. Hopefully next week will be the icing on the cake to sort out the bits that give me OCD. But I am one happy guy for sure!!!
Insanity, @Stewie- This could be GOAT territory!

3 Months Post HT#2- 15 Months Post HT#1
Hopefully, I am emerging from the 2nd month 'prison' coined by the great @Gatsby.
Things seem to be taking some form in these early stages. Donor seems to be filling out and top coming through....crown is lagging as expected, since almost all of the grafts were concentrated there and because the crown tends to take longer.
I am noticing some small 'pimples' in the crown, which I am told could be a sign of growth- fingers crossed.
As the great @Zoomstersaid- you can forget about your hair until at least 6 months. That is my new motto :).
Hopefully things continue on a positive trajectory. Attached are some recent photos...
See you in month #4 and thanks for all of your support!

4 months now and things are improving although I didn’t really think so until I looked back to month 3. Still lots of scalp exposed but hoping a lot more is coming in future months. Back of donor looks untouched and sides seem ok as well. I’ve had issues with the sides before because of my FUT scar. Last picture, top corner doesn’t seem to have any growth. Thank you!
Looking great! Get ready for the hair storm to come!

Absolutely amazing....so happy for you my friend!

Thanks! I don't use any curling accessories. I put a little gel in my hair, about once a week, and I like to leave it in there, and only wash with water every day. Gentle, all-natural shampoo every week or two.
Thank you SLA!
Thank you Steve!
Thank YOU @Capelli21 for continuing to share as it gives us all inspiration and further data. Great to witness one of the greatest transformations!

7 months after HT #2; 16 months after HT #1
Things are blending overall much better now.
Planning for HT #3 right now. I know some here endorse a more conservative route, but ultimately please respect that I will ultimately do what addresses my personal goals for the next 1-3 decades, and I do want to have a 3rd procedure to address some remaining areas of need, and maximize my situation while I'm young. I also have had a change of heart about my length of hair; in the past I said I would maybe just keep my hair faded super short forever. Maybe the lower sides and back, sure, but as for the top and lateral hump areas, I want to be able to grow my hair longer. With good density on top, I can grow it to longer length and hide any slightly lacking areas. The rugged, medium-to-long messy look is one I hope I have the option of rocking at some point.
I want the behind-the-temple areas addressed with a few hundred grafts max, and I want increased density across the entire top, eliminating the horseshoe pattern as much as possible. I expect to be able to get another 2,000-2,500 grafts moved. I will then use SMP on donor area if needed (if it becomes too thin), but I'm not concerned about that because slightly thin donor isn't a terrible look at all and you can see many other cases who have it, and if hair on the top is maximized, no one cares at all that the back and sides are a little thin; it's a barely noticeable thing in overall appearance,
Black = recipient area
Red = donor area
Below is a photo from last month showing how well my rear donor has recovered from first 2 HTs:
Good strategy and progress is definitely there! You are also only at moth 7 so crown will continue to fill.

2 Months Post HT#2- 14 Months Post HT#1
The great @Gatsby likened month #2 to 'prison'. Well here I am. I do understand why a lot of patients disappear during the early months only to sometimes resurface after a half year.
I would do the same, but feel so grateful to this community and I feel compelled to pay it forward! It is through seeing the month to month progress of others in similar shoes that keeps me grounded, let's me know that I am on track and helps me to fully trust and embrace the process.
Having photos of my journey through HT#1 has been super helpful as I am able to compare mile markers, at least on the top where I previously had implantation done. These comparisons and the assurance of the clinic have also been super helpful in these early days.
The beautiful thing about the crown is we only have to see it when we choose and the crown is usually on a longer timeline than the top, so I am all buckled up for the long ride and rarely will I use the reflective 2nd mirror to see the progress.
As I look over some of my photos from 8 months on post HT#1, I sit cautiously optimistic that...fingers crossed, I will be there again...one day.
I am receiving all of your positive vibes- thank you!
Here are a few photos in different lighting...

@Gatsby- The way your hair and donor looks now is awesome. Donor looks normal as if you just got a buzz cut. Yes, the current style looks like you are the front man in a ska band...but is that such a bad thing -lol? AND you look like 30 years old :).
