  1. Dear, I have been using oral finasteride (1mg) for 6 months now, Unfortunately I still have no stabilization to date. The hairs are still falling out a lot, I do notice that a lot of small hairs are falling out now. Can I now draw the conclusion that this medication has no use for me and that I can better stop? Or should I keep going till the one year mark? I am really getting discouraged....
  2. Great result! But I see that the redness is not gone yet?
  3. wow 3454 Grafts for only the front, thats really a lot!
  4. @A_4_Archan@Turkhair Thank you for the reply. I know about the shed. But is it normal that I shed good hair on the sides and the back of my hair? Even when I’m not putting the topical solution on it? That’s the thing that freaks me out.. I just don’t want to lose good donor hair for a transplant.
  5. Hi, I know its 'normal' to have a shed when you are starting with hair medication (Topical dutasteride+minoxidil in this case). But I'm very worried and hope anyone can help me: Is it also 'normal' that you shed a lot of good, thick, long hairs in the donor area (back and side of the head). I'm experiencing this at the moment and starting to freak out. I even cried about it, so maby also starting to get depressed. Hope anyone can answer this!
  6. Hello fellow sufferers, I really hope someone can give me some good advice or whatever, because I am slowly starting to get depressed. I am a man of 35 and have been suffering from hair loss for a long time, since I was 18 years old. I want to do a hair transplant but first I have to make sure that the hair loss becomes stable. Unfortunately, I still have not been able to do this. I have been on EssenGen-6 Plus (minoxidil+fina) for a year which did not lead to stability. I then switched to MinoDuta (minoxidil+duta) and have been using that for 3 months now. Unfortunately, this does not provide stabilitation either. I know there are pills to take, but am really afraid that if I start that I will have side effects. Does anyone possibly have any advice for me on what else I could try? I lose at least 100 hairs a day and use (a lot of) toppik to cover my balding head. Thanks
