  1. Sleep lots, eat healthy, walk around outside in fresh air, drink lots of water, supplement with zinc and MSM if not already doing so. Enjoy!
  2. I think as a surgeon, there is no dispute he is good - he is well regarded amongst and by some of the greats such as Lorenzo, Bisanga etc. - however his clinic is a shambles. As Melvin said, the hair mill model is a good cash cow, but terrible for patients and results. It's a shame he's sold out, and I hope many other good surgeons learn from Dr Koray's mistakes.
  3. If you provide us with some pictures, your location, and max budget - will be a great help to provide you with more info.
  4. I find it hard to believe you're a rep because you don't half spout a lot of nonsense on these boards.
  5. Technically - it should be counter productive , as BHT is reliant on dht. However for whatever reason, I’ve seen HT docs still recommended finasteride despite using BHT on patients.
  6. I’d personally opt for this. The smaller sessions that you break down surgeries into, the less room for error or losing finite grafts. If your heart is set on FUE, then this is the only way to go IMO. A mega session of FUE is never a good idea
  7. Save up your pennies, and get in touch with Hattingen for an FUT procedure (If you don't mind the scar) - you seem to be a perfect candidate for them going off your pics.
  8. It’s a bit like asking how long is a piece of string at the moment, because you haven’t indicated, or they haven’t indicated, proposed hairline placings. You should also expect to het widely differences in opinion once again, if you were to go into clinics and consult with them in person. Pics are a good starting reference, however very seldom do they offer the correct estimations for final decisions on the day of surgery. I would recommend, booking in person consults with as many of the clinics on your short list as is possible - I know it’s a hassle, but will be the most accurate way for you to get the answers you seemingly want.
  9. Looking great - you went to the protege of one of the best, wouldn’t expect anything less.
  10. It all depends on where you started from. If You were a NW5 in 2010, and this is what you look like now after 5000 grafts in 2021, I’d say you are doing just fine. Without having seen your crown etc, from the pics I can see small top up of 1000-1500 grafts likely get you to a much happier place.
  11. I’d always advise to speak to your own surgeon with regards to post op do’s and don’ts - as every clinic differs with their own advice. Personally, I wouldn’t - however there’s many that do, and many surgeons that don’t seem to mind it so much after the 1 month mark or so.
  12. I’ve no idea what the packages are, I have never looked into them, what I meant, was that I would only ever choose the package with the doctors full involvement the whole way through. Out of interest, what strategy have the proposed for your case, and what number of grafts have they quoted you to carry it out ?
  13. Not personally , but I have seen some nice results showcased on here over the last few years, have watched a lot of the doctors videos and Instagram lives, and they seem professional and passionate about what they do. I would only ever consider the highest costing package with them, however.
  14. Every clinic has some not so great results - however there is a difference between underwhelming results and bad surgery. Underwhelming results are usually related to a poor yield, and/or potentially a mis calculation of grafts required. Assuming there are no physiological issues with the patient, an underwhelming result can be rectified, and isn’t the end of the world. In an underwhelming result - the donor should still be in good shape, the hairline design and graft distribution should be correct, and the clinic should do their upmost to bring the patient up to speed with a satisfactory end result. Bad surgery could be all, or a combination of the following things; botched donor, poor growth, poor hairline design, poor choice of graft distribution, scarring, No patient support or follow up, Etc. Hopefullt you get the picture, to help you understand the bad reviews you may be finding a little more. I always maintain, a clinic or surgeon is only as good as their poorest results - and how they handle them.
  15. Personally I would lean more towards Dr BF, purely based on the fact that I have seen a higher volume of decent patient posted results in the last year - however that’s not say there aren’t any Pekiner ones, I just haven’t came across them on the forums I’m active on.
  16. It’s a tech based clinic, so results are a throw of a dice. He got a good result - but there’s no guarantee You’ll have the same team and protocols operate on you. edit - a good result growth wise. Hairline design could have been more aesthetic IMO.
  17. I don’t want to sound alarming - but this is definitely on the extreme end of shock loss. The reason I asked which clinic you went to, was to ascertain whether or not the follow up advice they have provided you with was from a trustworthy and experienced source. Whilst confident it is likely to be shock loss, I would be inclined to contact some of the surgeons recommended on here for a second set of eyes, and to see whether anything could be done in the immediate weeks following from this. Wish you the best,
  18. His goal is to get away from concealers though - which contrary to your statement , is possible.
  19. 3 approaches: - Persist with your current regime, and according to some, ‘your body will adapt and overcome’. - Wean yourself gradually off the oral, by lowering the dosage and/or frequency . . and try a topical. - Wean yourself gradually off, and look into other forms of hair loss prevention methods, eg. LLLT, micro needling, minoxidil etc. Depending on you as a person, eg your risk adversity, and your priorities (sexual health vs hair loss) . . You should make the decision based on what you feel most comfortable with.
  20. I agree with this area of focus, however think 200 wouldn’t make a huge difference . . 500 I imagine would be the rough ball park figure to start enhancing the visual density. Melvin FWIW - no one knows I have hair loss, and after having a hairline procedure 6 years ago, this area is somewhat thin for me also . . and under these conditions your hair looks much better than mine does. I’m currently planning a restoration of this area myself - and will be favouring a DHI/stick and place technique.
  21. If I were you, I would search for a skilled doctor who has a reputation for maximising patients scalp donor, whilst maintaining ethics - and really look to push for another 2000 scalp grafts. I would then focus only on the zone that is outlined in pink, and push for 1300 grafts in the green dotted section, and 700 in the blue. The heavy focus on the front section helps reinforce your frontal aesthetic - which IMO is the most important part improving ones appearance in hair restoration - and despite no direct hairline work being applied, the surgeon should aim to work back to front in this case, and reaching your frontal section with lower grouped FU’s. This in turn will further solidify a weaker crown , and when the hair is grown to an appropriate length, you can take advantage of more layering techniques, back combing from front to back for instance. The 700 grafts in the blue section will help add to reinforcing your crown area, and again, assist with layering techniques you can apply from front to back. The reason I have left the remaining part of your crown, is because it appears age appropriate - the layering from the back will provide the ability to ‘comb over’ if you wish . . And the natural direction of hair fall in this section, falls downwards, covering the balding area just above your occipital region. Food for thought anyway,
