  1. I like that slow and "lets see approach." Definitely has the patients long term goals and wellness in mind. I saw old posts mentioning you were looking into adding beard grafts into FUE scars. What did he recommend in regards to that?
  2. Some doctors prefer to use statistics as a means to measure things. I feel like it couldn’t hurt. But at the same time clinics like h&w don’t seem to rely on a bunch of statistics (at least in their public vids they put out) yet achieve good long terms results with a good chunk of patients. Some docs likely have “an eye” for things.
  3. For each? I’ve never seen biotin come in a 1400mg dose?
  4. Hi gillenator, are you stating that if he gets the hairline filled in where there is no hair, it will still need another pass for acceptable density? Isn't the hairline usually dense packed at around 40-50 grafts/cm to create a dense look? Maybe I'm misinformed
  5. If what you state regarding the contacting of the employers is true then I would gather that evidence and submit it to the admin of this forum. No clinic on here should be accepted here that employs these kind of tactics.
  6. How much has your hair deteriorated (if any) after being on finasteride for 20 years?
  7. I meant if they are trying to implant in an area that has telogen roots
  8. If hairs are in the telogen phase can they be damaged since the roots can’t be visualized during surgery?
  9. Thanks bro. So that’s after a density of 70 grafts/cm roughly? Even after your second procedure you could notice eyes glancing at your hair?
  10. After how many procedures are those pics from?
  11. I believe they’ve done it before with hakan dogonay
  12. Previously transplanted grafts aren’t subject to permanent shock loss, correct?
  13. @Melvin-Moderator whats the formal process for getting a doctor/clinic removed from the recommended list? Is there some type of community voting? I heard in the past this happened with a Turkish doctor here and I’m curious regarding the process. Thanks
  14. Thanks. What if the area is all previously transplanted hairs and no natives? I assumed the transplanted hairs do not shed since they are stronger.
  15. Say the previous zone was implanted at 40-50 grafts/cm. How common is shock loss if you go with another small pass to add more density (10 grafts/cm)?
  16. can you post the letter/email that you received? This would def help put some of this to bed. Of course you can blur out your name or any other info that would reveal our identity
  17. What about things like severe dandruff (seborrheic dermatitis) or psoriasis? These do involve the immune system which can potentially attack hair cells as well.
  18. MSM is a form of sulfur. Its thought to help to aid in helping nails and hair grow quicker. Theres a lot of info on the web regarding it so take a read.
  19. Melvin, knowing what you know now, would you have gone down the FUT route first?
  20. Can’t even really tell in that pic. Time for find biotin/msm to speed up growth
  21. Can unhealthy scalp or underlying scalp issues such as inflammatory dermatitis prevent or destroy the vascularization process especially early on (within first month of a HT?)
  22. Totally on the same page with you. Maybe some of the more active doctors here such as @Michael Vories, MD or @Dr. Glenn Charles can help offer their opinion
