  1. You can’t really compare a technician based clinic to Demirsoy
  2. Donor looks really good. I’ll try post some pics in the next few days
  3. Thanks! All in with flights, hotel and accommodation for 2042 grafts, it was around £3000. Demirsoy charges 1.25 euro per graft
  4. Cheers! :) will keep with updating progress photos for at least a couple more months
  5. Thanks mate. Yep minoxidil twice a day and been on finasteride for the past 3 years
  6. This is an epic result, you couldn’t really get any better 👍🏽👌🏻
  7. Some more progress photos today and really pleased with how it’s looking. Even if this is the final result, I’ll still be pleased. However we all hope there will be that little more growth/thickening. So currently I’m around 9 days away from the 7 month post op mark. Let me know your thoughts guys? last photo is with it styled
  8. As the others have said really, I’d really avoid those two clinics you mentioned and offering a free second surgery doesn’t sound great to me. Personally if they mess up the first time, I wouldn’t want to risk wasting my donor area on that clinic. Abroad is honestly the best option but can’t exaggerate enough to research the surgeon and check the surgeons results on here. I’ve used Dr Demirsoy on turkey and he is brilliant, loads of positive results on this forum from him. I know of a few friends have had theirs done in the UK and results have been so poor, you’d barely knew they had it done. Only decent surgeon in the UK really is Dr Reddy but he is big bucks and still not amazing imo
  9. Epic mate! Genuinely think your going to be in for a serious result
  10. I do get what you’re saying with this post and you do really want to avoid budget/cheapest clinics as you do really get what you pay for. However, if my hair transplant cost me £10,000+ I wouldn’t even of contemplated doing it in the first place. I paid in the region of £3000 for just over 2000 grafts in Turkey with an extremely reputable surgeon that does most of the procedure himself. So far my results have been great and can’t recommend them enough. I wouldn’t of considered it if it cost me the above as I just don’t have that spare amount of cash and even so, I couldn’t justify saving that much to pay for this. This is why price factor sometimes comes into play but I would not go near some of the cheaper clinics in Turkey that offer unlimited grafts or say 4000 grafts for just 2k. There are a hell of a lot of botched clinics over there though and you have to be extremely careful with who you choose
  11. Lol I’ve been reading this thread with popcorn. I do get people trying to steer everyone away from Turkey and yes a good percentage you want to stay away from. I did a lot of research on this forum before I booked up to go Turkey and if you are looking for a surgeon that does a lot of the work, seeing just one patient per day and consistent with positive reviews, I’d look into Dr Demirsoy. I’m in a WhatsApp currently with 7 others that have also recently used him. All of us had a 10/10 service and everyone so far have had excellent results. Nobody in the group is even near the 12 month post op mark yet either but the results so far have been top notch👍🏽
  12. He is a little more conservative with his hairlines but I’d rather have a hairline with good density than a low hairline which looks unrealistic and weak density...That’s just my imo though
  13. Has Demirsoy had complaints? I think you might be referring to the wrong surgeon Melvyn, just checking
  14. Look into Dr Demirsoy, excellent surgeon in Istanbul
  15. Dr Demirsoy is one to consider for sure and does most the procedure 👍🏽
  16. Thanks man. I’ll do another update in around a months time
  17. Cheers! It’s only until you see before and after photos you realize sometimes
