  1. This is interesting, a friend of mine sent me this clip, it's for a movie called Contagion for Matt Damon, it was released in 2011, it exactly describes what's happening right now.
  2. The problem is not the media, this is not the Flu, the numbers are totally different, Seasonal flu has a death rate of 0.1%, COVID-19 death rate has jumped to 4% and is 6% in Italy.
  3. This is going to look great in a few months, good luck!
  4. I agree with @hairlossPA regarding Bisanga, but I think he charges more when doing a certain number (less than 2500). No, Pekiner has his own clinic, HLC is another clinic that has multiple doctors in it, so you get the opinion of multiple doctors when you go in there which is a plus.
  5. I agree with some of the points you made but the problem with the virus is that it stays in your body for 14 days so you can have it but show no symptoms, so you go to work and back home and infect everyone else without you knowing you even had it, that's the issue. You can get infected if you get within 6 feet of someone who has it, they don't have to sneeze in your face for you to get infected, if you are sitting on a plane with someone who has it than it could easily spreads between those passengers, they go home thinking they are okay and spread it to their friends and families and then 2 weeks later the symptoms appears, that's why they quarantine people for 14 days. Also If you look at the numbers the past 3 days you would understand how fast it is spreading, and there are around 110,000 cases reported now and the virus is only a few weeks old. I agree with you the corona virus is similar to the flu, it's like a stronger version of the flu and the people that are dying are mostly old people with health problems and weak immune system, the only thing that makes the virus dangerous is the way it spreads and that's the reason a lot of places are closing to try and contain the virus.
  6. OP said that he narrowed it down to 3 docs (HLC, Keser, Lupanzula) so I gave him my opinin about HLC, I don't hijack threads and tell people where to go, doesn't mean that he can't go to Lupanzula who also does great work. I really don't care where people go brother..
  7. ''My buddy'' lol He did offere this patient 1000 graft for free and the patient did go back, your buddy Diep wanted to charge a patient 12,000$ after he paid 18,000$ and got butchered, the patient wanted to sue him and Diep never showed any remorse, the thread was locked and nobody heard back from this patient. The funny thing is that you think I am biased towards Turkish doctors, I couldn't care less where people go, I have no agenda here, there are good and bad doctors everywhere around the world.
  8. Come one man, this has nothing to do with ratings, this is serious, Ebola is more deadly than the Corona virus we all know that but the issue with the Corona virus is that it spreads in a dangerous way. Hundreds of people died in Italy, and the virus is spreading in a crazy way, just because you wash your hands doesn't mean you can't get infected, stop listening to Trump.. Nothing overblown about a dangerous virus that is spreading like wildfire..
  9. You are overreacting about Dr Pekiner and saying he tried to ''game the system''.. he is more ethical than your buddy Diep that's for sure
  10. I was talking about the fact that you said no virus will stop you from getting a hair transplant, traveling is not safe right now, the numbers of people infected doubled from 500 to 1000 in 1 day in spain, and 200 new cases were discovered in Madrid in 1 day, Italy shutdown the whole country right now, other countries are probably going to do the same because it's spreading like wildfire, so imagine if the number of cases went from 500 to 1000 in day, this has the potential to go to 10000 in a few days, spain could easily do the same as italy and shutdown everything, at the end of the day it's your choice but I am just letting you know that this is serious.
  11. Yes most people do recover especially young people with no health issues but this is a serious virus that can spread easily, if you can get infected and if you get in touch with people almost all of them will get infected with the virus, there are hundred of deaths in Europe, Italy is in a total shutdown right now, nobody is able to go outside anymore, the virus is spreading like wildfire and there is no stopping. This is serious and the issue is that if you get infected you have to go in quarantine for 14 days, it's not a joke.. yes it's not as deadly as ebola and other dangerous viruses but this virus easily spreads and it's not joke.
  12. When it comes to your health you have to do your own research and not rely on others.. ''The number of cases jumped to 999 on Monday from 589 on March 8, the health ministry said. Some 26 people have died as a result of the virus, ABC reported." https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2020-03-09/spain-says-coronavirus-cases-almost-doubled-overnight-to-999
  13. I would go with HLC they are the best clinic in turkey imo btw do you know how many grafts you have left? you did 4500 at Asmed do you know if you have 2000 grafts available? thanks
  14. IMO Pekiner is one of the best in Turkey with HLC being the best clinic, if you are learning towards Demirsoy go for it, he is one of the most consistent doctors out there.
  15. That's a good point, I think it varies from a person to another, some people are more prone to scarring but punch size matters a lot, a 0.9mm punch is double the size of a 0.8mm punch. I think at the end of the day it all comes down to the skill of the doctor too, my first hair transplant was a disaster the doc I went to used a 1.1mm punch, in the summer I went for a repair and I had to shave my whole head, I was expecting to see a lot of scars but there was none absolutely nothing so I guess I was lucky. There is an interesting case on the forum where a guy had to remove hundreds of grafts from his hairline and his skin healed well with no scars
  16. No that's not possible they actually get better with time, we are talking about a scar the size of a dot, most doctors are now using a 0.8mm punch, even if you shave it's hard to see any type of scars, they are there but should not be visible.
  17. If you are leaning towards HLC I would say go for it If you are looking for a clinic in Brusel have you considered Bisanga? he has a lot of great results on the forum, If you want to travel and just finish everything in 1 day I would consider Demirsoy in Istanbul.
  18. For me dermmatch is so much better than toppik, doesnt cause a mess and looks more natural on the hairline
  19. You should be happy your hair looks so much better..The crown is always hard to fill, people usually get a 2nd hair transplant just to fix the crown, but your hair looks great overall man and it looks natural, good stuff!
  20. Yes totally normal, everything looks great man, you went to a great clinic, HLC are the best clinic imo btw do you happen to know how many grafts you have left in your donor? thanks
  21. This would never happen if you go to a skilled doctor but an FUT scar can stretch even when done by a skilled doc.
  22. A lot of doctors push for FUT because it is a lot easier for them that's why doctors charge more for FUE than FUT, reading transection rate etc it's bullshit, doctors who push for FUT come up with stuff like that. Go for FUE with a skilled doctor and don't risk having to deal with a scar behind your head, the scar can stretch etc, lots of guys on the forum went for scar repairs, imo FUE is the way to go and it's not even a question unless you are completely bald maybe but no.
  23. This is another case that was posted recently, patchy donor even though only 1600 grafts were extracted, the patient is looking to do SMP, I have seen around 10 cases like this on the forum, I am not trying to trash Diep, he does hit some home runs but if people can't see that his donor management is just not good especially if you compare it to other top doctors then you are biased. The fact that you had 7000 grafts done already and you cut your hair really short on the sides I would not risk it.
  24. Have you considered Dr Bruno Ferreira, I have heard a lot of good things about him on this forum, send him a consultation.
