  1. Hello again KO, Well that is what I meant in my first post. That he should not be associated with the satellite clinics. That said would you say he is as good as Dr. Erdogan, Lorenzo, Feller or Dorin? Would you recommend him? The reason I ask is because I like his work from what I saw on youtube and his gallery. Please let me know.
  2. Been down that road. Biotin will not help much. On average a human gets enough biotin from his diet provided it includes consists of 3 square meals a day.
  3. Honestly I think Calum needs more work. He has good density but the hairline has to drop down an inch to make his frame look balanced.
  4. Hello KO, Is your list sorted in the order of importance? To be fair I think Wesley is a capable doctor but definitely not in the same league as True, Feller, Dorin and Bernstein. Share your thought on this.
  5. But don't you think 5 months is enough time to at least show some noticeable growth? There are patients who have had noticeable results after 4 months, albeit it is far from the 12 month mark. But nonetheless they show some progress 4 - 5 months post op.
  6. Recently I read that Dr. Baubac's Alvi Armani of Beverly Hills is a legit clinic and one of or the best in the world. His high hair density is on par with Dr. Erdogan who people consider the best in hair transplants. This may be the clinic for me to satisfy my needs. I also read that the Beverly Hills clinic should not be confused with other Alvi Armani clinics that hold a bad rep. That said I have a few questions. Has anyone been a patient of Dr. Baubac? What were your experiences and could you provide links to your images? Who is better in terms of hair density, Dr. Erdogan or Dr. Baubac? Considering he is in Beverly Hills how expensive is he?
  7. The main complaint about high graft placement is the risk of permanent shock loss. If it weren't for shock loss there wouldn't be so many complaints surrounding shock loss. Sadly there's a give and take when it comes to high hair density from transplants. The higher the density the higher the risk for shock loss. At the moment there's no proven solution to circumvent this. Personally I want lots of grafts. But I also have to be careful that I don't get too many which may put me in a bad situation where the surrounding healthy hairs don't grow anymore.
  8. Yes I must admit you are right. It really does look like a hair piece.
  9. I can understand why you would say that. But I actually like it. Granted I too do feel like there is something else going on other than hair transplants under the hood. Though I wish I knew what.
  10. Hello gents, Been looking at Steven Seagal's fur on his head. It looks rather thick and well done. Anyone know which doctor did his hair transplant procedure?
  11. Hello chris and everyone, Would it be possible to talk to Dr. Erdogan to discuss the amount of grafts to be transplanted pre op? He of all surgeons should understand the risks involved in plugging too many grafts.
  12. A word of warning to those considering traveling to the the Dominican Republic for hair transplantation and other surgeries. Please dont. The horror stories abound the net. There are far safer, better alternatives elsewhere.
  13. Happy new year gentlemen, Looking at the before and after pictures on Dr. Erdogan's website I was most impressed with his work. Too good IMOH. Comparing him to other doctor's before and after images, I find Dr. Erdogan work to be the best I have ever seen. But I am concerned about overgrafting which ensues shock loss. I would like your opinions on the matter. Could you gentlemen tell me if he indeed is the king of hair transplants? And for those who have been his patients, could you tell me your experiences with him?
  14. Hello sean, Appreciate the reply. I will do more digging around and researching of this clinic before I decide what to do next. I did have a chance to look at your post op pictures in your gallery. Would you consider getting more hair transplants in the near future to cover the front hairline by any chance? Or are you comfortable with it?
  15. Hello again gents, Over the weekend I have had a chance of looking over Armani's gallery on its site. The work looks very impressive! But I am concerned over reports that the clinic performs botched transplants from what I have read online so far. Right now I am neither against or for this clinic yet i am interested. What are your opinions and/ or experiences with it?
  16. Hello everyone and happy new year, Would like your opinion on a doctor whose work I have been eying for a month since seeing great results via youtube videos of his past patients. His name is Dr Gaurang Krishna and he is from India. I know India is worlds apart from our neck of the woods but his work looks amazing and tempting, which is why I need your opinions before considering him. Has anyone here heard of him? Anyone had a transplant with him?
  17. Hello everyone, I was prescribed minoxidil by my doctor. As such I did my due diligence in researching it and came to a haunting side effect of the product. It looks like it actually sheds your hair initially when you use it. It may also cause sexual side effects. have any of you who tried it experience any hair shedding and sexual side effects? Do you recommend this product?
  18. Hello hsrp, Appreciate your words. Yes the dermo told me that steroids could thin the skin. But would it cause any hair loss?
  19. Interesting that you mention steroids. Many of the topical solutions prescribed for scalp conditions contain steroids. Can steroids from these topical solutions stunt hair growth??
  20. Why would I waste my time out of my busy day to fib about something like this?
  21. Hello harp, Thank you for your reply. Honestly I am shedding in the temple areas. But this has been going on for years. And I do not know for sure where the 14 - 17 strands came from specifically from what part of my scalp. I wish I knew but I do not. Currently I am taking a topical solution to help arrest a scalp condition. The doctor prescribed that I apply it every day. But I rarely use it because of the side effects. But the scalp condition is progressing well by the way. I know I am freaking out over something that to someone else may seem trivial or low impact. But I really do not want to lose any hair. I have been losing hair in the temple areas for years and I can get quite sensitive over that as you can see now. You mentioned that you lost 400 hairs while on Fin. tell me how you know it was 400 strands? Over how long a course of time did this occur?
