  1. Hello hsrp, I have long appreciated your comments on this forum and on my threads. But this is unbecoming of you. Stop feeding into hate. I do not appreciate that you wish bad on others like myself seeking help here. I am not here to prove myself to you or anyone. I am here to learn not insult. That said I ask that we all stop the negativity and get back to helping others. That is what this forum is about. I think it is more productive that way.
  2. Hello Transhair, Thank you for the response. Just to let you know, the clinic is Alvi Armani in Beverly hills run by Dr. Baubac. Two people on the forum confirm that Dr. Baubac is legit. His reputation seems solid by industry awards he has won. Just want to gather more info from others to confirm this to make extra sure before making my decision. P.S.... I think it was you who was discriminated by a clinic due to your health status. I hope your issue got resolved and the clinic learned not to discriminate anyone based on sex orientation or race. Hope you found a good clinic that finally has helped you. Good luck! Hello BeHappy, Thank you for the response. Just to play devil's advocate, the doctor at the clinic is Dr. Baubac and a few people here said he was legit. But what you said does make sense also. As you can see now I am confused as to what to do. Strange predicament I find myself.
  3. Hi jcs, Well that is the thing. When it come to FUT and FUE I want to know which is better for follicular survival. Recently I read that FUT may be better (although it is considered outdated by some clinics). So what is important to me is that grafts survive after extraction without dying post-op. What do you think?
  4. Hello everyone, I talked to a clinic about transplants. The spokesperson said it provides 70 - 90 grafts/cm2 (sounds high). But he said hollywood celebrity patients get 100 - 120 grafts/cm2. I then asked if it is possible for a non-celebrity like myself to get 100 - 120 grafts/cm2. He said that graft count is reserved for celebrities who need to look good in movies without looking like their hair is "see-through". I was concerned about his reply because thinning hair is thinning hair no matter who you are, celebrity or not. But he also said the clinic transplants 70 - 90 grafts/cm2 in one session. I like the clinic but I do not want to get stuck with a transplant that may turn out bad. Since they do celebrities they should have a good reputation - though they will not divulge which stars got work. What do you gentlemen say about the high number of grafts? The high amount of grafts does sound very tempting. Should I go for it given they are a reputable clinic that also serves hollywood?
  5. Hello, mav23100gunther , Let us say that you consult with a doctor yet something in your gut tells you he may not be a good fit for you despite the fact that his results are excellent. Would you go withr your gut or results of his work?
  6. What is your opinion on Doctors Baubac and Erdogan in relation to H&W??
  7. I can respect that. But unfortunately given the large demand for these clinics the doctors have no choice but to hire a team of trained techs to do their work for them. I do agree with you wholeheartedly. It is the nature of the business now.
  8. Hello jcs87, Believe it or not I am also in that same boat. I do not know which to choose from among Dr. Baubac, Dr. Lorenzo, Do. Dorin, and Dr. Hasson. Would like density above all else. Which would you recommend based on my need?
  9. Hello Bill, Sadly I know genetics play a huge part in hair transplant restoration. But could you tell me if they found out why one person may turn out to have a very good result while another may not given that they are both the same age, have same weight, hair type and build, same ethnicity, with same diet, etc etc etc?
  10. Hello Bills, Thank you for your help. This stig person keeps bothering and accusing me of being someone else. I came this forum to learn about hair restoration. I never insult anyone. Since you are moderator could you end this disruption? It is disorderly to the threads and I am sure others feel the same. If stig would like maybe we could open a dialogue. Whoever the people he claims I am must have hurt him very deeply, I do not know for sure, just speculating. I am willing to extend my hand in friendship to him to help him. It is better to help one another than to fight over something I have nothing to do with. That is up to him of course. I am just a regular positive thinker. Indeed thank you for you help and concern.
  11. Hello KO, Who whould you say is better at creating density, Lorenzo, Dorin or Erdogan?
  12. Hello hsrp, Yes! That is it! I was looking like a mad man for that thread. Appreciate it that greatly. Navigating through the forum is a bit difficult with many links even if it was my thread. I will bookmark it. 15K?? That is very steep. Very disconcerting. But is this the cost everyone pays regardless of the degree of their hairloss? Answering your questions I do not know whether to go the FUE or FUT path. Yes I have read about them and know what they are. But I have not read enough about which method is best long term and that is very important to me. I do not want to dive into something that may not be maintainedd in the future. I want to be able to keep what is transplanted. My camera is very old and not made for high resolution picture taking. Looking to buy one soon though. Soon as I do I will post here. Give me your honest opinion when I do. Appreciate this. Let me know your thought.
  13. That is fine, I can accept that. Just keep in mind that all I am doing is offering him help from a different angle. I did not know to what depth his current condition was given his norwood. Konior is fine. Bernstein would also help "stretch" out the grafts over the area to create that illusion of coverage. As to density I leave that up to him to decide if he wants to go down that route or reserve if for later on with another doctor with expertise in that area. After reading up on ARTAS I do agree that it is still too early in this tech to go in wuith that method. Manual is still the better choice over it.
  14. If you want to believe him go ahead I will not stop you. But at least voice your opinion over pms. This is a serious thread about someone needing help and I do not think he would want it disrupted.
  15. Well since you have appointed yourself as his doctor I will let you advise him what to do.
  16. You again? Is this how you spend your time in disrupting others? If he wants to think I am someone one else let him. It is his way of having troll fun I suppose. Moving on to what is really important.....
  17. There is no such thing as ownership of a thread. Threads are made for public members to opine on, they are not property. OP should be given all the opinions and info offered to him so he can personalize a solution to meet his needs not anyone else's.
  18. I would say that Dr. Hasson and Erdogan provide the best hair density in the industry right now. I would throw in Dr. Baubac in that list given more info. Everyone else safe touch ups that appear like patients have dense hair when in actuality they do not have density.
  19. Hello KO, I looked at Konior's results. He seems like a good doctor but he does not add enough density as other doctors do. Additionally I reviewed Rahal and noticed that he chooses to do safe cases. In other words, he works on patients who are not that bald. Sort of like "cheating" if you will. As to ARTAS, I am not fond with the tech either. On the few sites that I looked at, the results looked far from impressive. The tech leaves much to be desired at this point. Could you recommend a few doctors who perform ARTAS well?
  20. Hello KO, Yes I am quite aware of this as well. Honestly I am not obsessed with one doctor. But I am very fond with just a few doctors who have impressed me so far. Dr. Baubac is one of them. Yet I want to remain cautious and get as much info as I can about him before I make my decision to see him as my doctor. It is the best I can do.
  21. Hello KO, Sure. I will do that. Need to find a good camera for that. My current camera is a bit old. No problem KO.
  22. Hello KO, Appreciate the reply. And if you do not mind, could you please answer my question about Dr. Baubac? Is he as good as H&W and Konior? The reason I ask is because I feel he is the doctor for me. But if you have any reservations about him please let me know.
  23. So who in your opinion are the best FUT doctors whether in USA or anywhere else in the world?
