  1. Oh I am sorry but may you clarify what you said? Did you mean to say that these transplant doctors never performed any surgery on you?
  2. Oh I did days ago. Thank you for your concern for me. Hope you are satisfied.
  3. I will keep that in mind. Appreciate the advice.
  4. Very good result. And I sympathize with you.about the mirror thing. It bothers me when I have to see myself in it too. This is you at 5 months? Fair density so far. I could only imagine what you will look like 7 months from now (1 year post surgery). In 1 year you will have good density. Congratulations.
  5. I am perplexed. Why did the doctor say that you had to see him for a second transplant? Well, I am thinning on top as most thinning men are. Are you saying that density would be impossible for a doctor to create on my thinning scalp where existing hair follicles are located? So are my dreams for hair density dashed once and for all?
  6. Yes there exist differences between men and women's hairlines. But I still strongly believe that doctors should acquiesce to lowing men's hairlines and cease being too scared of shock loss or other far fetched reasons. Far too often what ends up happening is men get transplants but the hairlines do not look complete because doctors want to play it extra safe in not taking added risks. But we ahve seen that such risks can be minimized and can actually benefit the patient in the long run.
  7. Why, I am merely asking because there are doctors who, as part of their practice, discount or give free repair to those patients who have had a less than positive result from their first surgery. The dreaded shock loss! Is there any solution in sight for us?
  8. No sir, I am no troller by any means. I am merely observing the progress of the patient throughout his care. Research is nothing but a series of observations notwithstanding how one may feel of the results. Perhaps I was a bit too judgmental in my analysis - just a bit. But I cannot in good conscience disguise my observation. If I did I would be fooling no one except myself. I want to wish you a lot of luck.
  9. This is interesting to me because I for one truly believe more doctors should get into the habit of pulling down the hairline more. In my research I have noticed post surgery work on patients whose density was good but their hairlines left far more to be desired. Perhaps more doctors should operate on men as if they were transgenders? Though I may be half joking maybe this can help men achieve a more youthful look. Let me know what you think.
  10. Hello Pete-from-Farjo. Did you have your hair surgery to add density to your thinning front area or to pull down the entire hairline?
  11. Looking good so far. Out of curiosity will Dr. Diep perform your second transplant surgery for free considering low density?
  12. Yes I also watched this video. However, his hair actually got much thinner 12 - 16 months post surgery. As I noted, his hair actually was thickest at 7 months according to the video. This is very strange unless he did something to his hair to warrant such thinning, otherwise his hair should have continued gaining density. Disconcerting to me is the fact that I wanted to add this doctor to my list. Good luck.
  13. Thank you Spanker. Been rattling my brain around this since the dental appointment.
  14. I am very much confused now. As I look at the monthly progression of the person in the youtube video, his hair actually became less dense 12 months post surgery. This is quite different at 7 months post surgery when his hair was vastly thick! But at 12 months he looked like he was thinning. As I said I am perplexed by this. Why did he lose a lot of hair (or so it appears) at 12 months post surgery?
  15. Appreciate the vote of confidence there gillenator. It is just that I go through a barrage of stress at the thought of anything that could potentially put my hair at risk which I know you can greatly understand. Sorry to hear about the cancer treatment. Did the chemo and dental xrays, as awful as they were, make you lose your hair at all? If so did your hair regrow after you ended chemo? One last thing, you have mentioned in your signature a few doctors. Which do say has given you the most hair density? All the best.
  16. This is very strange indeed! It would make great sense for Dr. Nader to publish proof of his work on his site in the form of images. That way it would eliminate the heavy burden of having to track his patients down which is a huge consumption of time and energy. Is it fair to say that your research into his patients came solely from youtube videos and this site as well?
  17. Visited Dr. Nader's website. But could not find any before and after images. Does anyone know where the link is?
  18. Very dood doctor I must say. That is a very good turnout.
  19. But to be very fair all dermatological shampoos (and topical solutions for that matter) cause some degree of hair loss. For example, Fluocinoide is a regularly prescribed medicated topical liquid for certain conditions with one of the listed side effects being hair loss. Will you lose all your hair from it? Perish the thought! But nonetheless it can contribute to some loss. "Some" being a few strands not much. That being the case keep in mind of the risk (side effects) of using it outweighing the risk of not using it.
  20. Yes I have read this before. But my problem with this assessment is if one dental x-ray is equivalent to "less than one day's background radiation" or "short airplane flight (~1-2 hrs)" then why do doctors stand way clear from the exam room when they snap the x-ray? Respectfully I trust your concern. However, the medical field is wrought with misinformation to ensure that the public not panic. Again, I am not trying to challenge you. That's not my purpose. I just want to know where I am at regarding this issue. Thank you for your understanding and input.
  21. Yes that is what I had highly suspected as well. Good opinion.
  22. Hello gillenator and thank you for your input. May I ask why you say this? Do not take this question as challenge since I do highly respect your opinion. But would like reassurance and reasoning as to the nature of your input. Thank you again.
  23. Well let us just hope you are right. You could be correct about the Asmed clinic though I have never been there, granted. Yet given that your transplant is barely a month I would not necessarily give them a gold star either. Personally I would steer clear of exotic clinics in far off countries until more info is given. However I do respect your choice.
