  1. Hello gillenator, Really? I have actually seen photos of patients using stand alone PRP. The results are good from what I have seen. Hello voxman, Interesting! So you used Acell as a way to prevent shock loss? Is this what you are saying?
  2. Even heavy sunlight can cause hair loss? My goodness! That I did not know. Must avoid the sun at all cost then.
  3. I looked into this. You got to be careful with nizoral. I read that it may cause hair loss. Ironic but true. Hello richter, I did not come across your hair gallery. Do you have a link by any chance? Edit,,,,, Never mind, I saw your youtube video. I had an uncle who suffered from seborrheic dermatitis also. It still haunts him. But he manages with medicated shampoos and topicals. Hopefully you can arrest that condition sosn.
  4. I beg to differ with you. Most comparisons between men and women show women have better looking transplants. Their hair looks more dense packed. Hello rev, It should make sense then for doctors to lower men's hairlines like a womans in my judgment. That way our hairs would look more natural and youthful. Few doctors actually lower hairlines drastically. .
  5. Don't you have anything else better to do than bother us? I reported you again.
  6. I do not understand why you refer to me as this person. But I did report you.
  7. Looking good so far. Would get a bit more dense in a few more months. Let us know.
  8. Now that would be worth researching indeed. Apppreciate it richter
  9. Hello voxman, Yes I see. Makes sense. But I hate seeing hairs in the drain. Angers me like living hell. Thank you voxman!
  10. Hello everyone, I wash my hair everyday and rarely do I see any hairs in the shower drain. But last night and today I had seen a few hairs. Yesterday I saw 8 hairs. Today I saw 5. Could this be an indication of more hair loss? How reliable would this indicator be? 13 hairs may not be a lot. But for the hair loss sufferer every hair strand counts. Although its 13 hairs in total I am still worried that this may turn into more hair loss. Can someone here give their opinion on this? Am very worried and angry too.
  11. Hello again gillenator, Shock is a very powerful issue. I have researched a doctor while in the Ukraine. He actually packs about 80 grafts. I could not believe it at first. But that alone is "shocking" - no pun intended. However when I looked at this gallery I noticed just a very few patients with dense hair. The grand majority had sparse hair. This ought to tell you that no more than 40 grafts per cm should be a safe bet.
  12. Never made that suggestion. Do you mind not trolling. It is disruptive to the forum.
  13. Hello gillenator, Looks like someone in the forum is not happy with himself. I feel bad for him. Anyway, gillenator, I did come across certain doctors who do perform procedures for free. The condition being the patient has to have had a bad first transplant. The sad part is that it is up to the doctor to decide.
  14. What about PRP? Ever considered that?
  15. Why all this anger and negativity? I am not stirring trouble. I respect everyone. I really do not know why you are so angry. I suggested a discount because in my research some patients wanted a discounted second procedure. That is all. Nothing to get strung up on. Be positive and let go of all that anger. It is not healthy for your hair growth. It would do you a world of good. I want to wish you luck.
  16. Yes I see. Yes it is not an exact science. But what in your opinion do you feel can minimize risk? Trying to remember where I read it, but good doctors nowadays are placing no more than 40 grafts per cm. Just to prevent shock loss from their patients. It is more about safety - not to mention to protect their practice. Now 40 grafts sounds just about right if you ask me. It is neither too much nor too little. On another forum I read about complaints of patients whose hair did not grow a year after a transplant. These patients received 50, 60, and 70 grafts per cm. Way too much if you ask.
  17. Hey spex, It is interesting you say that. On another thread I posted on women's hair transplants I asked something somewhat similar. It seems that men's hair placement in hair transplant is different from women's. Most importantly is, can a surgeon place a man's follicles angled the same way as he would on a woman? In that way - in my opinion - the male patient may look more youthful because he would have an illusion of thicker hair. What do you think? Possible?
  18. Yes I had suspected that. Just wanting to make sure. Thank you for your reply.
  19. That is not good. Have you tried reaching out to one of his reps? I want to wish you a lot of luck.
  20. Doctor Bhatti. From what I have researched he does very good work. I believe you will have a great result with him. Keep us posted over time. I want to wish you a lot of luck.
  21. Would add to make sure to send hi res photos. The higher the res the better so the doctor can have a better view. And give you a better opinion.
  22. Was wondering how many grafts per cm is considered safe. I have read that the good, qualified doctors are using no more than 40 grafts per cm as a safety measure against shock loss. What do you think?
  23. Be careful! Too many grafts per cm is a bad thing. Good question.
