Hello mav23100gunther, The see through look really does not bother me at all. I am just sympathetic towards those who suffer from it, more or less. Hair is an important thing to us men. It seems like we are competing against nature and when nature has the upper hand it makes me mad no matter the advances we have made in tech, procedures, medication, etc. Appreciate the reply. Hello mav23100gunther, Very good to hear that. But as a correction I am not taurus. Hopefully you can cover those areas if possible. I know it can be frustrating when hair is unevenly distributed and creates a see through look in some areas of the scalp. My friend from work is in the same boat. He is frustrated that he cannot do anything about that same uneven look. His doctor said that adding hair to cover those see through areas can create risk of shock loss. So he is stuck. Hello sydaus, The grand majority of patients suffer from shock loss so ensure that you do not make this issue bigger than it actually is. Some shock loss takes longer than others depending on the patient and circumstances. Listen to gillenator. He talks from extensive experience and is giving you valuable help. These are very good and capable doctors. It is good to see you have done your homework. But worry more about their ability to meet your expectations and expertise than the amount of time they can finish plugging your head. Technique is more important than time.

Hi Spanker, But don't you think that may be unnecessary as that may put him at risk for shock loss in that area? I would be very careful not to do it now and wait. He can definitely afford to wait.

Hello sean, Hey sean appreciate the follow up! So you saw Dr. Baubac in person. I got questions for you. Did you see other patients with good results other than the one you saw? What do you mean by, “less grafts were used so I sensed the yield was extremely high.” I thought in order to have a high result you need more grafts not less. Please clarify. The one thing that bothers me about Baubac is his exclusive focus on FUE. His consultant over the phone said that FUT was outdated. I disagree. In the past I have seen better turnout with FUT than with FUE. I could be wrong though. But then again if Baubac’s results are great with FUE you cannot argue with that. Curious, why does he not post on this site? Granted, this forum is not as popular as other hair transplant forums. But it is strange that he does not post here. Perhaps you may explain? Actually, I am a fan of Dauer, Dorin and Erdogan. I am overseas now on a project and am trying to get more info on US doctors for my next visit there. Though I do not want to give props just yet without all the convincing info first, so far Baubac looks like he is the best. Need to be confident about this statement first with enough "proof". Hope to hear from you again!

It is not that I do not like it but those areas appear a bit sparse, with all due respect to you. But good enough turnout though. Hello gillenator, Do you believe the front part is the most stubborn part to transplant hair on? The reason I ask is due to the number of transplants I have seen where the front part is the only spot on the scalp lacking more hair relative to other parts of the head.

Had a friend who went the ARTAS route. The result was "ok" but could have been better in my opinion. The tech has to be perfected first before it can set to be a great selling point.

I think you mistook me for someone else, I never said I was going to see Rahal. Erdogan and H&W are good doctors. Baubac is also good but seems a bit controversial based on the fact that he transplants more than 100 grafts/cm2. Too high. Let me know if you know of anyone here who have gone to see Baubac. Would like to know their results. You mention FUE and FUT. This is what I am confused about. As I said in another thread, I do not know which is better. I read about both approaches. What I am concerned with is follicle survival. Which is better in terms of survival after extraction? Let me know what you think about that. Good luck.

I mistook you for someone else who was discriminated by a clinic for his sex orientation. Excuse the confusion. I keep hearing good things about Baubac though. Hello gillenator, The clinic said thats the amount of grafts they transplant for celebrities. But just to let you know, they said they usually plug 70 - 90 grafts/cm2 on average. D.r Baubac did say on a video that 55 grafts/cm2 would create a see through look. To be very honest I am interested but concerned. Is it fair to say that you regard this clinic as dishonest? Would you dissuade me from going there?

Zinc and biotin are the most valuable needed supplements. All the other vitamins you can get from food.
