  1. Homerun. Looks like your grafts starting frowning from day 1 and you never went through the ugly duckling phase. And the way the donor grafts were taken evenly from the whole area from back of your head and not just the middle part makes this one of the best results money can buy. Congrats.... And it's still going to get better.
  2. So donor is great? How's the front looking these days? So the crown is the issue.... Why not keep the crown cut shorter? Just a suggestion.
  3. Stay away from oral minoxidil? My cousin takes it prescribed by his Dr for high blood pressure at a much higher dose. The dosage ranges from 2.5 - 80mg a day. There are risks taking finesteride, dutasteride and minoxidil... It's up to the person to do their research, talk to their Dr, outweigh the pros and cons, and then make their own decision. I know I stopped both minoxidil and finesteride for almost a year and had a HUGE setback. That's why I'm so thankful I found Dr Mwamba for a repair job to get me back on track. So I'm taking my chances, while getting bloodwork every 6 months and checking my blood pressure.
  4. 12 hours for 300 grafts. Wow. Lol. That Def sounds like Dr Mwamba. On my 2nd day surgery with him, we started like 10am and he didn't finish till like 3am. Guy is a machine, and always in a good mood.
  5. Yeah... I thought it was a bit much too. They are 5mg tablets. I take 2 a day. So far, so good. No sides effects to complain of. I can always drop it down to 5mg a day.
  6. To each their own. Talk to your dr, do the research. I've been taking 10 mgs day prescribed by Dr Mwamba for 6 months... And my blood pressure is normal still.
  7. Of course... But you taking the chance that in the future having to shave all your hair off and then having all the fue scars or an fut scar. Making it a double whammy. Don't take fin if you're hesitant, but at least take minoxidil. They got oral minoxidil now which makes it so much easier. Or you can take a micro dose of fin like 0.25 MG from a compound pharmacy.
  8. Speaking from experience.... Fin/min help keep the hair you got, and makes them healthier and thicker. If you stop taking the meds, you can lose native and even transplanted hairs too. Dr Mwamba is a highly sought, highly respected HT surgeon. His reviews speak for themselves. I went to him for a repair job HT a couple months ago, and he did a great job. Exceeded my expectations.
  9. Exactly. Benifits of No shave fue is obvious. Some people may want to argue that it's better to shave for better results.. All depends on the Dr. I've done no shave FUT with Dr Dorin in NYC and no shave FUE with Dr Mwamba. Some dr's actually change more for no shave.
  10. Only been 6 weeks... You are right in that ugly duckling stage. Check again in another 6 week, then 12 weeks.
  11. Heres another Pic. Top 5 days post op, bottom is from just now. So, it's similar to what he did to you. Its coming in.. I'm praying I get some good density. I took pics like every week.... So I noticed by week 3 everything fell out, but by like week 8 or 9 I started seeing something. Like really teeny tiny hairs coming thru. We are both in ugly duckling phase so it's only going to get better.
  12. Man... You got great hair. Like I bet 99% of the people here wish they had your hair. I went to Dr Mwamba too and he lowered my Hairline similar to yours. But mine was only 600 grafts. I had otehr stuff done. Repair work in donor and some crown work. I'm 11 WEEKS post op, and I see baby hairs growing in the front. I'm trying not to focus too much on it now cause I know this is still the ugly duckling phase. We just gotta be patient. Heres a pic of the same spot on my Hairline preop and post op.
  13. This stage of the game sure does suck... But you are doing an amazing job documenting everything with this post, pics and videos. You should be fine by summer. 🤙
  14. Smart. 👍 My my experience, Only advice I could ever give people is to not stop the meds, cause you can have a huge setback, and lose your transplanted hairs too.
  15. Wow. Amazing results, and it still going to get better. Bet that was some of the best money you ever spent.
  16. Are you taking the oral minoxidil. Just asking cause I switched from topical to oral and it's made life so much easier. once you get your new frontal hair area, it will probably blend it good with everything else. You might need another HT down the road, like most of us did, but I don't think you will need it right away.
  17. Wow. Looks like a homerun. And you're have such great results so far at only 3.5 months. I can only imagine how great it will look by December.
  18. I think you are gonna have great results. Might not even need another HT. 🤙
  19. Damn. I feel your struggle bro. Couple things. Since this is your 3rd HT, I hope you are on some medication. Minoxidil comes in oral form which is much easier, and of course there is finesteride. You should be taking both or at least the minoxidil. If you are worried about finesteride, You can take small dose amounts of finesteride from a compound pharmacy, (.25mg) 2nd, You still got options. If you don't like the smp in the front cause it's too obvious. There's a simple laser removal procedure you can do that is quick and won't affect the hairs. There's a guy on these forums called MUSTANG that did it. He can help you out. Dude is a legend. You should really REALLY read his story. You still got months of growth to come so it will get better. So, My donor isn't great either. So what I do, I buzzcut the bottom part of it at a 4, and buzz cut top part of donor area at a 6. And mine looks fine. I think if you do the same, you'll be ok. 3rd. I was in a similar situation like you... After years of HTs and winning the hair game. I stopped all the meds, and I had a huge setback. My donor area was depleted and I had a section in the middle front that got weak. I thought I was screwed, but now there are Dr's out there that have taken HT to the next level and are fit farming using chest/beard hair to repair donor area. https://www.fueclinic.com/services/surgery/fit-farming/ So as a last option.. You can do what i did. I had to have another HT. I went to Dr Mwamba, and he got over 1000 beard grafts and he was able to find over 1000 scalp/nape grafts to fix my weak spots and do some repair in my donor area. I just had the surgery 2 months ago. But, man... I feel extremely lucky to have found that Dr and had my procedure done.
