  1. Maybe you didn't get the results you wanted, but it's still a pretty big difference, along with all the hair you still got... It looks like you have really really good hair. I got hair envy looking at your hair pics. And keeping the donor a little longer hides all fue scars. It's what I do too.
  2. I was very surprised he offered the 800 grafts too tbh. I just followed up with pics with his assistant Ben, and expressed how I wasn't satisfied with my hairline. My response from Ben.... "Dr Mwamba has instructed me to coordinate a free touch up for you on your hairline and I would like to explain a few things." Long story short, I'm grateful... And although I did get a free touch up of 800 grafts... I did opt for more grafts.... So, with the added grafts, flight to Brussels, and that tax... I spent close to 10k.
  3. I think you have had very good results. 👍👍 Good luck with that 2md procedure. I saw him for a 2nd HT first week of March. He's very good, especially for repair jobs using BHT. I also wanted to say how great the smp looks on you. It give your scalp a darker look. Everytime I get siked up to do smp for density/fue scars, I see bad results and bad reviews ..... and then I see a result like yours and I get siked up again.
  4. Interesting... I had a repair job with Dr Mwamba in Feb of 2022, and the final result, my hairline just didn't have the density, like yours. Dr Mwamba acknowledged this, stood by his work, and offered 800 grafts to add more density on the hairline. I thought that showed integrity on his part. The only thing was that the first surgery was 45 minutes from where I live in NJ, whereas for the 2nd surgery I had to fly out to Brussels. I had my 2nd HT with Dr Mwamba early March this year, and since I was already going there, I opted for more density on the mid section too. I ended up getting like 2300 grafts.. With 800 being on the house.
  5. Good luck. I think you're gonna be happy with your results. And that area in the donor from the previous HT was a little over harvested. Good thing Dr Mwamba did not take any more from there. I saw him for my 2nd HT in Brussels early this month. He's great. Really takes his time. I'm curious on your 2nd minty update.
  6. Hey Mustang... You remember what antibiotics you used for the folliculitis?
  7. Never heard of folliculitis being transfered from the beard hair to scalp. I have developed folliculitis in the beard area after hairs were extracted..... But the folliculitis was only in the beard donor area where the beard hair was extracted.
  8. Good for you... You won the hair game. Looks perfect. Congrats. I wish I had that hair after my HTs. How's that crown area looking?
  9. "secondly and most importantly have the address where your staying at present at customs," Wow... Thx man... I haven't even looked into where I'm staying yet. But now I know... I better book it and have that info for customs.
  10. Thanks man!! Get Eros at the Dublin airport. 👍 I added the international play with AT&T.... their customer service told me AT&T works in belgium. Hope it's true.
  11. Thx... I didn't know anything about a VAT rax. That is news to me. Dr Mwamba will comp the difference from the flight to Atlanta to Brussels. I was extremely lucky to see Dr Mwamba in NJ a couple years ago, and it was only a 40 minute drive for me. So I know what you mean, in NJ, he rents a small room at a Dr office. It wasn't a bad experience for me. I'm fluent in Spanish and have been to the South America and a few carribean islands, and felt comfortable there... But going to Europe is a whole new adventure for me. I just found out English is spoken fairly throughout there, so that's great to know.
  12. Thx!! Great to know English is spoken.... I was worried I'd be with some Google translate in hand. If I was single, I'd make this a week trip to enjoy the sights before the surgery. But I'm going to be in and out. It's an overnight flight and I'm going from the airport to his clinic.
  13. Oh good luck. I never traveled to anywhere is Europe. Are you staying at a hotel that is close to his clinic... If so, maybe I'll book the se one as you.
  14. So seems my upcoming surgery with Dr Mwamba March 1st have changed. I was supposed to travel to Atlanta, but his plans have changed and now I have to go to Brussels. I'm from the USA... And going somewhere like Brussels will be a very foreign to me. I'm actually a little nervous. Anyone else from USA go see Dr Mwamba in Brussels and can give me any tips?
  15. Looks like you never had any grafts taken out. Superior result bro But the nape area, how happy are you with the result? Looks like you still have some ingrown/ pimples there. I go back to see Mwamba again Feb 29.
  16. What is your trt dosage if you don't mind me asking?
  17. Looking good bud. I went to Dr Nader a couple times. He's great. Imo, the growing really starts around month 5. But everone is different. Good luck with the trt. You're being smart about it... Low dose. 👍 What dose are you on? I'm still trying to find the sweet spot. Rt now I'm at 120 a week. Injecting 40 m/w/f/.... I might have to go lower.
  18. Very VERY impressive Some might think unbelievable with just meds and mesotherapy. Would you mind breaking down what you are doing these days for mesotherapy. Also, I'm curious... How's the front looking?
  19. Good luck... You did a lot more research then I did. I hope you have better results then I have. I'm curious on your updates in the future.
  20. He might be thinning, but for the crazy amount of stuff he's done in his lifetime, he still has a full head of hair.
  21. I have a long journey with hair transplants... I've had 6. First one in 2008. And I've been on trt the whole time. If I could do it all over again... I would have never had a hair transplant. The older we get, the more beneficial trt can be some certain men. I guess it all depends on each individual.... You have men like Jay Cutler that still have a full head of hair, while there are other guys that go on a low dose of trt and it destroys their hair.
  22. Wish I knew about trt and hair transplants... I was always told hair transplants are permanent. There definitely are NOT. Especially if you are on trt.. I've lowered my trt dose in trying to find the best pathway to continue trt + hair loss meds to keep my native and transplanted hair.
  23. Wow.... And I wanted to do Pro. Definitely looking forward to any updates. I'm sorry if it is more hair loss, but maybe it's just Shedding
  24. I had this problem for years... And being single at the time... The best thing I did was get dark sheets and dark pillow cases. And once I wake up, turn it over. Lol. I did this for years when i was using dermmathc religiously
