  1. You're right sometimes technicians can be more skilled than doctors but how hard is it to find which technician is responsible for a bad hair transplant? Let's say you have 3 technicians who are involved in the extraction of a transplant how will you know who's the bad egg? This mindset could also creep into the technicians. If they mess up or are lazy with the extractions the doctors name and reputation is on the line not his/her. They may also think that they are doing all the hard work and the transplant doctor is getting all the money and praise. Therefore they are less inclined to perform to the best of their ability.
  2. Nope I don't think there is a correlation between red scalp and the result.
  3. I'll pm you the ones i remember, i don't want to name and shame.
  4. Tbh I'd be pretty disappointed with that result at 5 months as well. I've seen quite a few of these results from erdogan recently, i'm wondering if his standards are slipping a bit.
  5. That's not a maturing hairline, it's receding quickly.
  6. There are quite a few good doctors that aren't recommended on this site tbh. There also are a few that are recommended on this site that are a average at best. Just search for the thread where everyone names their top doctors and choose from there. I certainly wouldn't get a transplant in the UK though. Your budget may be a problem though as i think you'll need more than 1,500 grafts and going to a cheap doctor is a bit of a gamble.
  7. uhm what? this dude has hair that women will be envious of.
  8. I was just wondering is it worth getting in case something goes wrong with my procedure? Could you recommend any uk companies if so? Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the detailed response Seesaw, it was very helpful. He's not a travel agent lol, just check online?
  10. I've booked in for hdc at this month, I hope you don't mind me asking you a few questions. Have you got any tips for the transplant like bring anything like a neck pillow etc? How did you spend your time post op? Did you go out much the first few days of post op? Did you make your own meals? Thanks in advance. Also good luck with your transplant.
  11. They could be growing at the same rate but it maybe less blatant due to the contrast. For example lets say you shave your head and your hair grows by 2cm you will think wow its growing fast because you can see the difference from bald to hair. However when it grows by another 2cm you might not think the growth has slowed down because it isn't completely bald and you can't clearly see how much it has grown. It's kind of hard to explain if you get what i mean.
  12. Yeh i noticed it straight away when he was on the joe rogan podcast, it's quite obvious i must say.
  13. It will never be thick as your native hair because your native hair has more grafts/hair than the transplanted area. It can however give the illusion that it is as dense. Most doctors advise you to wait up until a year to 18 months before your transplanted hairs are fully grown out, so you never know in a few months time you might be happy with the density.
  14. looks very good man, it should thicken up over the next few months.
  15. The top two doctors in europe are Lorenzo and Erdogan. I would definitely choose reddy over farjo, but personally I wouldn't have a HT in the UK.
  16. He shot me down as well, maybe you should consult with other top surgeons?
  17. there you go where to go its on this thread. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/174234-starting-my-hair-transplant-story-hdc-clinic-2200-grafts-post2498339.html#post2498339
  18. In my opinion there is no reason to get a HT in the uk when there are better much surgeons abroad. Also with most of the Belgian doctors you have to be aware that they also have a 21% VAT charge to add on to their price per graft. Judging by your comments i advise you to do more research as well, I don't want you coming on here 7 months later with a botched transplant.
  19. Does anyone know the best place to do so? I can do it from my bank, but their rates are extremely low it seems.
