  1. Yeah ignore him, it's definitely not psychological. This ain't first time Asmed has produced subpar yields either, sorry to see those results and i hope you get a successful repair.
  2. I would probably go with Reddy out of those two but i heard he charges per hair which is a bit strange. Are you open to having your operation abroad? This is because there are doctors who have a greater track record than UK doctors and also charge a lot less. A few examples are Lorenzo, Maras, Bisanga, Feriduni. Thick hair is a bonus when it comes to hair transplants, you won't have a "blocky effect" if the doctor knows what he's doing.
  3. My grandad is the same, he's not even grey at 90. My parents told me i have his personality, shame i didn't get his hair genes.
  4. I used to wake up depressed af and when i went out i got even more stressed because i couldn't style my hair the way i wanted. I would avoid any pictures because my hair would just look like shit. The best solution is probably a hair transplant, after i had my transplant i simply stopped caring and it was one thing less for me to worry about. If you're waiting for your transplant you can do 2 different things. Buzzcut or style your hair to hide the recession. I went with a buzz cut because my hair isn't as thick as yours and i'm a bit of perfectionist, my hair just didnt look right when i tried to hide my recession. The relief you get when you've buzzed your hair is actually quite amazing, obviously you still care that you have a bad hairline but it definitely made me think less about my recession. If you want to style your hair and not buzz it, i'd suggest styling your hair like this. You can still see it's receding but many people won't notice it. Heck most of us can spot minor receding from a mile away but the general public are quite unaware.
  5. Heres a pic of me around 2 years ago as well. It's not that clear but you can see that i was receding badly on the sides which made my hair very difficult to style. (thats not how i wore it btw lol)
  6. Sorry for the very late response, ive been really busy recently. I saw your message a while back but I was prescribed drugs that caused my hair to fall out so i couldn't really show you an accurate representation of my hair. It's now grown back and now i can show you some updated pics. Again sorry for the late response, i remember a few years back i was always eager to see peoples pictures therefore I'll try my best to answer your questions quicker this time. @Sow no i didn't ask the clinic as i thought it would fill in over time as it has done. Here's my 11 month update.
  7. They are trialing a pill version at the moment but i highly doubt the price would be significantly lower for any than they are charging for eczema. I'm no scientist but i'm sure it would also be quite difficult for them to make a biologic into a topical and be as effective. This would also be based on your assumption that you would need a lower dose which isn't exactly clear as it only worked on the girl who was on the dosage for severe eczema . There's also the opposite side of the spectrum where I have read on reddit that it can also cause hair loss. Other side effects also include pink eye in quite a high percentage of users. I personally would love to take this drug for my eczema, but for hair regrowth I just don't see it being that helpful or affordable.
  8. not great tbh, do you have anymore preop photos because judging by that one picture i'm seeing minimal difference.
  9. Thank you very much, i've seen your results too hopefully it's gotten a lot thicker since the last time i've seen it. The donor area is still noticeably thin on the right hand side, i trimmed it down to #1.5 guard and you can still clearly see where i've had my transplant.
  10. No it looks pretty real unlike his natty status.
  11. Firstly i started losing hair at around 18/19 I would find strands of hair under my pillow and in the shower. I generally thought nothing of it because it wasn't really noticeable at the time. A year later i started noticing that it was a struggle to style my hair into a faux haux and then i fully realised i was starting to thin. I knew i was going to be NW5 eventually because my brother was at a nw3 and my dad is a nw4-5 but i didn't realise it would come this quick. Another year later my hair was looking terrible and i started researching hair transplants. I'm 24 now and I decided to get a transplant in June while i'm still young as i've turned down many events/parties simply because of my receding hairline. I'm currently at my 2 and a half month mark and I couldn't be more delighted with my growth. However i'm not going to lie i'm also a bit of a pessimist so i try not to get my hopes up too much. My donor on the right side is also quite thin probably due to shock loss, i really hope it grows back because i hate wearing my hair sides long as asian hair sticks out when it grows. 1st picture is around 1.5 month mark, Second is 2month mark, the remaining pics are 2.5 month. Heres my result from the HDC clinic, If you have any questions feel free to ask.
  12. Great result! I don't even have to see your face pics to know that you look 10 years younger.
  13. Yep donor looks fine, everything looks good. Yeh you're right it is a huge area to cover and considering your level of baldness it's a definite improvement. You should get that improvement of density in the upcoming months.
  14. Oh okay do you have any 6 month pics? i'd love to see them.
