  1. Take it as a compliment - I'm sure that's why it was asked .
  2. I just do one at a time . Main problem I have with Proscar is the shape . Using my pill cutter to cut it into quarters usually results in random sized fragments . Maybe I just need a new pill cutter .
  3. Excellent progress so far harin . Good to follow other high NW cases as a point of reference . I'm at 8 weeks post op and possibly a bit impatient for things to happen ( aren't we all ?). However , seeing the changes from your 2 month to 4 month pictures was a good boost . If I get anything like similar growth over the next 2 months I'll be a happy chappy ,
  4. Yawn indeed ! Barbaric is such an emotive word . Gets tiresome to see some of the entrenched opinions for both methods .
  5. When is your surgery pencilled in for ? Have you paid a deposit ?
  6. I suspected this around the 7 day mark , but was certain at 14 days as my hair grew . The Dr confirmed what I already knew a few days later . Was pretty concerned at first , but after checking out the forums realised it's not as rare as you may think with the strip procedure .
  7. For less than 3 weeks that looks pretty good .Another few weeks and it wont be visible .Was it a tricho' closure by the way ? I had my head shaved for my procedure , so took a lot longer to hide . The scar is not visible from the sides now ( post op 8 weeks ) , but unfortunately got shock loss for a short length of the scar at the rear which is still visible .
  8. I don't think communication is a strong point of this clinic . Quite a few people have made similar comments about getting responses . I enquired with this clinic a while ago , and after the initial acknowledgement never heard from them again . Just struck them off my list . I wouldn't be overly concerned though . I'd just persevere until you get a response .
  9. If the doctor extracts and performs the incisions , it wouldn't be classed as a tech' clinic . The tech' clinics I refer to have minimal doctor involvement , sometimes just drawing the lines on the scalp . Good luck with the HT and enjoy your travels .
  10. If you're not planning on doing it until September , all I would suggest is research the forums intensively . When you think you've researched enough , research some more . Any reason why you are primarily looking at Cosmedica ? I'm pretty sure it's largely a technician clinic . There are threads on this forum if you check out with the search button .
  11. All looks good ! Now it's just a case of patience . Happy growing !
  12. Al the questions going through your mind are probably the same questions most of us ask post op . Immediately post op , I was on a high , excited about the possible results I may get . However , 17 days post op and the day before I returned to work , I realised there was no way I was going to be able to conceal the HT . I hit a massive low that day and seriously regretted ever getting it done . However , I told certain people at work , wore a hat , and I'm still wearing a hat 5 weeks later . Difference is , after that 1st day back at work , I'm accepting of the position I'm in and I'm not concerned about it any more . Suffered some shock loss at the donor , so looks like I may have to wear the hat for a good while longer . Again , I'm not concerned , as long as the shock loss resolves itself in time .
  13. I was recently in Turkey also , and everything was fine . I suppose if you have any concerns at all , maybe just avoid the tourist areas .
  14. December 17th ( although I put 18th in my review for some reason ? ). You had good pre-op hair coverage compared to me , so for 3800 grafts you should be looking at great density .
  15. I also went through a procedure with Dr K recently so looking forward to following your progress .
  16. Nearly everyone is worried about removing the hat at security . I was as well . Truth is it was no big deal ! I just raised the front of my hat so they could see i'd had surgery , nobody behind could see so happy days . In the end , I was more concerned about how i looked in the daft hat I was wearing , as I look a bit of a twat in a hat !
  17. Just read through the thread , and your results are looking excellent Cali . I've recently had FUT with a similar graft count , so you thread provides a good point of reference for the stages of progress . Still haven't shed all the grafts yet at 4 weeks post op , so think I'm kidding myself they wont shed . Reading your thread brings back the reality that they will shed in all likelihood . Still have thoughts now and then that the H/T wont produce to my ( modest ) expectations , but I'm sure that's a thought many of us have peridically.
  18. Not being funny but why don't you just ask . That is late for a procedure to start , but will partly depend on how many grafts are being done .
  19. Some doctors say you can , some say you shouldn't . As is always mentioned regarding similar questions , ask your doc .
  20. It's pretty obvious why clinics in Turkey , or anywhere else for that matter ,would prefer payment in cash .
  21. Yep , hat it is for a while . Have a few meetings scheduled the next couple of weeks so could be awkward - may just have to put them off for now . Checked your story and your result is looking impressive . Just starting to shed at the moment , so probably not much to report for the next few months .
  22. Sorry to hear that Walky and thanks for updating the thread .I suppose at least it wasn't a complete failure , so small mercies and all that . It does highlight the dangers of the tech' clinics though .
