My HT was just about 4 years ago , and I'm still happy with the result , so much so that I still haven't had the 2nd procedure that I'd intended to have done .Donor still looks great ( strip procedure ) and can still get away with a No.2 haircut at the sides and back.. Never used the meds due to medical reasons , but can't say it's had any impact on the ongoing result . Now this may all change in the coming years , but for now it's all good .

I've seen other people referring to donor shock loss being rare. I don't know if there any staistics in this regard , but I'd guess it's far more prevalent than people think. I had shock loss from my strip procedure which I was pretty worried about at the time , but resolved itself fine, I've also seen some serious looking examples of shock loss that you would think would never resolve , but they did . Hopefully , this is just temporary shock loss that will resolve in the coming months .

Apologies - I just read your post again and misread the initial post . I thought that you were talking about going to a tech clinic where the techs do the incisions and the placements ( of which there are many in Turkey ) . There are very few clinics in Turkey where the Drs do the incisions and the placements , and where this is done the surgeons will only do relatively small sessions. I also travelled to Turkey partly for reasons of cost , and was happy with my result . Good luck and hope it all goes well with whoever you decide to go with.

I suffrered pretty bad shock loss to the donor shortly after my procedure . Scared the shit out of me at the time , but was reassured by other members that it was likely temporary and would fully recover , which indeed it did .Shock loss is probably a lot more prevalent than some surgeons would like to admit . Have come across a few stories where the shock loss was permanent , but fortunately seems to be a fairly rare occurence .

If I were in your situation , I'd do a lot more research . The fact that you're asking the question of trusting tech's to do the full procedure suggests to me that you're setting yourself up for a potentially disastrous outcome . Don't mean to appear harsh , but as you'll see repeated time and time again ,cost is only part of the considerations to take account of . If the tech's fuck up up , that's precious donor that you're never going to get back .

Glad to see this turn out the way it has - very nice result . Must have been a big worry in regards the shock loss , which was pretty significant at the time . Looks like it's resolved itself pretty well . -
Looks very good Hairsgone . I'm sure most NW6's would be happy with similar results .I'd be more than happy with similar coverage. I'm just past the 18 month mark from my first HT now , and still pondering when to go for the second . I'll try and do an update soon . I appreciate it;s a difficult question to answer , but how much do you think the Fin ( Prosacr ) helped ?

Take your time and do more consultations to get the widest range of opinions and options .You'll likely get contradictory opinions of what your best options are , so the more consultations the better . If you post photos , you'll likely get some good feedback from forum members . You're looking at a high number of grafts so guess you're possibly pushing to NW6.You should seriously consider going down the FUSS route for your first procedure . You mentioned Yaman , so would assume you're considering FUE . Give it serious thought and there's no such thing as too much research when considering a HT . Don't have much knowledge in regards to a HT if you've worn a system , but there will be plenty of information about if you dig deep enough .

I still had scabs around the 14 day mark and was told by my surgeon to try and remove them . Just had a long soak in the bath and they pretty much went .

Never had a problem with Nizoral myself . Used it 2 to 3 times a week post op and it really helped with my scalp . Still use it now , around once or possibly twice a week on occasion . Maybe you were using it too often or have possibly developed a reaction to it . I'd certainly be wary of using it more than twice a week over a prolonged period .

That's a nice result for 3.5k grafts . I'd echo Home1212's advice as I'm in the same position.

7 months after 1800 grafts with dr ali karadeniz
chris39 replied to toni's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
You'll be able to better judge yor results around the 12 month mark . You've not posted any pre-op photos so have nothing to compare it against . You may have another 5 to 11 months of growth and maturing to go through , so best to leave any fianl assessment for a while . -
If you check out his former patients I doubt you'll too many ( if any complaints ). My scar's not visible at a no.2 cut so I'm happy with it . He has videos showing scar comb throughs if you want to check them out . Just remember , scar healing also depends on the patients own physioloogy as well as the skill of the surgeon.

My FUT at Dr. Feriduni in November 2016

Coming in nicely Hasselt . Interesting to see a pretty large FUSS HT done without shaving . Will be interesting to see how it goes . -
Wow. Chris, you honestly don't see how not performing the procedure makes you ignorant of it ? Don't you see that you and other like you give out surgical advice about a procedure you cannot and have not performed. In fact, you criticize and challenge those who do. If you want to rate how results look and compare results from one doctor to the next that's fine. That's probably the best function of this website. However, when you comment on HOW the procedures are performed or any of the technical details you are speaking from ignorance. __________________ Wow indeed Dr Keller . How does not performing a surgical procedure automatically make someone ignorant of a procedure ? Quite the statement there . I've never given , nor will give surgical advice to anyone ? Why do you even raise the question ? You mention that I criticise those who perform the procedure but that is simply not true ? Where have I ever done this ? Of course I can comment on how procedures are performed and the technical details . Quite the statement coming from someone in the US where surgeons are often protected by none disclosure and privacy clauses . The majority of poor results I've seen on this website have been form the US , but for some funny reason just seem to disappear after a period of time ?
