  1. I don't think you'll get that answer on here . Plenty of surgeons are members of both ( and more besides ) .
  2. Just keeps getting better HTsoon ! As a matter of interest , I've seen it mentioned a few times about a smaller head being advantageous ( I'm a fellow pinhead , so hope so ) . I'm a bit puzzled by this ? If the head is smaller , wouldn't that mean conversely that the donor area would be smaller proportionately ?
  3. 1500 grafts is a fairly conservative HT these days and would be considered a smaller session . Anywhere from 3 to 5 thousand is easily attainable these days . Some surgeons do in excess of this , but as always , do the reserach.
  4. Just past the 3 month mark . Been going out without a cap for a good few weeks now , but still have moments of paranoia where I think people are looking at at me and knowing I've had a HT - Ha ! Anyway , there's been some growth , definately more hair than pre-op , so pleased with the way things are going at present . My shock loss seems to be resolving itself , but still wary of getting a haircut at the moment . Also pimples are still popping up every day or so - once one disappears another one's ready to take its place .
  5. Maybe google this for a starter - 'Best Law Firms for Medical Malpractice Law - Plaintiffs'. Also , if you google the following , you'll find a decent article you may find of interest - 'What to Do if You Were Cheated or Disfigured by a Hair Transplant Clinic' Best of luck with this . The more you hear about this character , the more important it becomes that he's shut down . Discusting excuse for a human being .
  6. LOL - I was there about 6 weeks ago . Fasten your seat belt - next stop Pimple City !
  7. Yes , If they weren't DHT resistant before the transplant .
  8. From where you started out , this is a great result , with more to come ! Website is really painfully slow tonight so can't get all the photo's at the moment . I'll check out your blog when I get a chance . Happy growing !
  9. It may be the lighting in the photos , but the redness doesn't look bad at all for 7 days post op .
  10. Just to chip in on the maternal / paternal thing , I'm 1 of 6 brothers and we all have different levels of hairloss ranging from virtually none to NW6/7.
  11. These butchers will be aware of these threads . Just need to keep it going .
  12. As you're based in the UK , check out surgeons across the EU - very little reason not to .
  13. You need to do a lot more research and speak to the right surgeons . Your statement above is wide of the mark.
  14. I slept on my back for 14 days prior to the staple removal - just used a neck pillow . After the staples were removed , I still use the neck pillow , but will sleep on my side or back . I wouldn't think there is any risk of scar stretch based on sleeping position.
  15. Absolutely . I was told by my surgeon to leave it for at least 2 months before heavy lifting , but the bottom line is that no one really knows at what point the incision line can withstand excessive tension without scar spread.Hence the wide variance in advice given . Apparently , tensile strength of a wound reaches about 70% at 6 months . I'm just approaching 3 months post op , and debating whether to leave it another 3 months before any heavier lifting . As I also dramatically cut down on smoking post op , combined with less exercise , I've put on 12 pounds in a couple of months . Previously , my weight never varied by more than a couple of pound .Ah well - just have to work harder when I do start the weights again .
  16. The bottom line is that you're pretty much a lone voice in thinking that the 4k grafts didn't create as good a result as you would have expected . Fair enough , that's your opinion. We're all in here for the same reason - to offer and receive advice . The consensus in this thread is that the result is good for the number of grafts and area covered . If that doesn't fit with your opinion , then that's fine . It's what he forums are all about . You've maybe taken some of the opinions as a personal attack , but to be fair I think they're all well intentioned .
  17. I know very little about the BBB , except it has some positive views within this thread - hopefully it's got some teeth ! Keep up the fight . Have any of the other ex patients done anything about this yet ?
  18. Mediation ? Mediation only works if you are dealing with people who are prepared to be reasonable . From all the posts on here and other places , I don't think reasonable would be a term used to describe this clinic . Is this something you have initiated alone ? Considering you are one of many , why are the other patients who've been butchered not doing the same ? All these ex patients need to get together to put this clinic to the sword . Strength in numbers etc. Good luck by the way !
  19. 3 different threads on this place on the forum front page . Good - the more posts made , the bigger the footprint on the internet and hopefully the sooner they are out of business .
