  1. If looking at a procedure just to add density and reinforce the hairline without necessarily redesigning the hairline - who out of Dr Shapiro (both brothers) or Dr Victor Hasson would you elect? Or is it to close to call?
  2. Sean, besides Konior I am not sure there is another surgeon that is involved in the procedure 100%, unless you definition includes time spent outside of the room whilst still "supervising" the graft placements. I get what you are saying though. In your opinion, how much supervision do you believe is necessary?
  3. Where would you rate Dr Ron Shapiro in terms of hairline?
  4. Corresponded with Spex regarding the cancellation list, but it seems you need to put down the deposit and confirm another appointment. He also mentioned quite a few others are currently also on the list. I think it's tough if you are traveling from the States. I also need to confirm time off work and book airlines/hotel. It is tempting to book an apt 9 months out, but then you have to wait the 9 months just to have the procedure and another chunk of months after that for the hair to grow. That's a good year and a half I could be getting laid with my full head of hair I tell you. It is tempting though, and it's kinda reassuring to know you are getting someone so sought after.
  5. I've also just had a very good experience with Stephen via e-mail. A true gentleman and very responsive. Stephen, I will e-mail you with a decision soon - just been researching researching researching!
  6. I submitted an online consultation with e-mailed pics to Maras along with my other top choices, and to date all have replied except for your goldenboy... Not looking good so far, but maybe it's just because he is that good.... in such high demand....bad internet connection in Cyprus.....will give him another week to shine. Must say Feriduni replied within an hour with a detailed assessment - pity he is booked up for the better part of a year. Konior and Bisango were also extremely responsive.
  7. Also, don't let any of the haters convince you that you are too young for a HT. You are only young once, and you should be able to enjoy your prime years with a good head of hair. If I was your age with NW3, I would choose the same, and balance conservative and preserving the donar hair with getting that hair fix that gets you through your 30's and gets you laid.
  8. Ps - I ordered them from my personal best to least favourite - once again, my preference. Oh and maybe I should have added Dr Maras to the FUE list to keep good ol Busa happy.
  9. Rahal tends to be more aggressive with the hairline, and Ron Shapiro produces a more mature one but great choice in surgeons. I would go with FUT to maximize your lifetime donor supply of grafts. I don't think Feller and Lindsay are in the same class as Rahal, Konior, and Ron Shapiro. I would add Dr Victor Hasson to your list. So for FUT - Shapiro, Konior, Hasson, and Rahal For FUE - Feriduni, Erdoken, and Lorenzo I am convinced the above surgeons are the best of the best - my opinion. Other folks are going to jump up and down kicking & screaming and add additional surgeons, but I believe the above are diverse enough to cater for different expectations, and will be the best. I.e. Hasson is the man if you want a mega mega session in 1 go, whilst Rahal can provide you with the most youth looking hairline ect ect. Trust me, research the living hell out of the above surgeons, one of them will be your man - best of luck!!!
  10. Feriduni's wait list is insane - that should tell you everything you need to know about the guy. Bisanga seems to have more availability, and I only read great reviews on him. I don't know about his hairlines though. Busa seems to keep talking up Maras as well. Tough one mate. Erdoken seems to be the FUE version of Dr Hasson.
  11. What about Dr Hasson in Vancuver? It's close to. Washington state
  12. Actually, I beg to differ, no disrespect to the very few good H.R. Professionals out there, but not only will an accountant perform a much better job in charge of Human Resources, but I bet you that most toilet cleaners would do much better than the current H.R. heads - haha
  13. Great advice, although I strongly disagree that travel should ever be a factor. Cost can be a viable factor to some people, but in this particular instance it is a non-factor and mute because Dorin is more expensive and charges more than Rahal, whilst Rahal is cheaper and offers a generous travel discount that will offset the additional cost to get to Canada.
  14. It's like comparing one of Philip Rivers, Jay Cutler, or Andy Dalton with the likes of Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers or Peyton Manning. Go with Rahal buddy
  15. Don't bother with NYC surgeons, there are some solid ones, but I don't believe they are the top surgeons. Feller is prob the best of the bunch with Wesley and Dorin behind, but the best for FUT are Rahal, Hasson, Ron Shapiro, and Konior. For FUE, the best are in Europe at much more competitive rates.U.S. FUE surgeons are an absolute rip-off. I by mistake picked a NY surgeon for my own HT, as I wanted to live/work close to the clinic. Besides going in every 2nd day that first week post surgery, I haven't needed to go back since (except for staples removal). Besides, if something goes wrong a week later, not much the doc can do anyway.
  16. I believe you max out the strip, and then move onto FUE. How much donor did your surgeon estimate you have left?
  17. Hey buddy, I wouldn't worry about it. After 6 months, if all is good re side effects, call up the doc and he will renew the prescription. Which doctor did you see? My perscription was for 1 year which I believe is the max period that can be prescribed at 1 time in my state. Semantics
  18. How did the HT work out for you? Did you consider the surgeons in Turkey?
  19. I also don't think 55 vs 60cm will make that much of a difference to you - could be wrong on that.
