  1. Just try to be patient and post some pictures in a few months. I know your anxious, but give it a few months.
  2. Sounds like 2,000 grafts will do nicely in the front. Best of luck.
  3. Looking forward to seeing pictures about the 5 month mark! Your on track for some good growth it appears.
  4. Give us some more details on what you hope to accomplish with a transplant. You look great in the photos. Wanting to touch-up the front?
  5. Great to see the update and your happy with the recovery process. Good for you, it's looking good. Keep us posted.
  6. Looks very similar to me at about the same time, 3 months. Take a look at my website posted below and look in the archives and compare. Looking good! Keep growing.
  7. I'll bet you see good growth by month 4. Hang in there!
  8. Keep growing! Looking forward to those pictures around month 3-4!
  9. Best of luck to you. Keep us posted.
  10. I had great donor hair and yours looks way thicker than mine. You will be just fine.
  11. Based on your pictures, 1,400 grafts is a very small number to make a significant difference. I'm not sure your donor areas can yield enough to make a big difference but consultations will determine that. Looks like you do have good beard donor possibilities. You're balding is worse than mine was and I got over 7,000 grafts moved in two separate procedures and I had great donor potential. Good luck and keep us posted.
  12. My hair seemed to quit receding (or slowed down considerably) when I was in my mid-thirties. I was a Norwood 6/7 and had 5,000 grafts transplanted in 2012 and another 2,000 a couple years later. My results were great and continue to be wonderful more than 10 years later. I've never taken meds before or after surgeries for hair retention or loss. Get a consult (like I did) and go from there. You have a lot to look forward to. Check out my website located below.
  13. I don't know how clippers could affect existing hair at all. If new hair is coming through already, you are one of the lucky ones Could you include some pictures?
  14. Looks like shock loss to me as well. I'm sure you will be very happy in 3-4 months. Keep us posted.
  15. Everyone here would love to have your hair and probably your hairline. Lowering that hairline may be difficult to blend in with all the thick hair above. I'd wait a few more years and then re-evaluate. Tough decision, good luck.
  16. Too soon to tell so keep us posted. I had over 5,000 grafts down over several days in 2012 which turned out excellent. That was a huge mega-session back then so lets hope for great results for you.
  17. I'm sure medications are helpful and often discussed on this forum. I however, have never taken any medications for hair loss prior to or after my surgery in 2012 and have not noticed any discernible hair loss. My wife is a hairdresser and inspects it every six weeks when she cuts it. Again, I'm sure meds are fine but not always the answer. Just my thoughts.
  18. A bit early to determine but I'll bet it looks just fine in a few months. Keep us posted.
  19. I had my first transplant in 2012. I had over 5,000 grafts implanted. I had a touch-up surgery two years later. My wife is a hair dresser and has cut my hair for 30 years. She still sees no discernible hair loss in the recipient areas. This may not be the case for everyone but its my experience. Take a look at my website listed below and you can see before/after photos and explanations and context throughout my journey of over 10 years. I've been posting pictures and dialogue every 2 to 4 weeks for many years. Good luck with your journey!
  20. I'm glad you tackled the hair line first and waited on the crown. That crown area is very difficult to cover. Sounds like you had quite a few doubles and triples so that will be helpful. Send us some pictures in about 3 months. You have lots to look forward to. Hang in there.
