  1. Keser does a manual FUE and will take 4 days for the surgery. Does anyone know why this method is different? Most doc will operate one day for up to 2k grafts.
  2. so our tablets are more effective than the foam? Like rogane brand. I have been using form for the last few years and it seems okay.
  3. Thanks for your reply. 1400 was not enough but that was all I had in the first procedure, hence looking again. I'm getting a different answers from different doctors. 7k grafts seems a lot. I am not considering a beard as of now, this might be my last option when I exhausted the donor area.
  4. About me: I have been losing my hair since 2013 and was in a bit of denial until 2016 so I started looking for treatments. I have been on the HT journey since 2017. I’ve been applying Rogaine foam almost daily. Also taking Fin (1mg) for the last few years. Not very regular with fin it’s like on/off. I had my first FUE transplant in the Summer of 2020 from the UK, which was 1400 Grafts. I visited a few other clinics (wimpole clinic and dr asim shahmalak) and then decided to go with Dr Creg Williams at Farjo Clinic. Overall it was a good experience and the results could be better. The clinic aftercare sucks because after the treatment they never called. However, whenever I call to see meet the doc then it they schedule an in-person session. The consultation was in London but for treatment, I have to drive to Manchester. I book a hotel for 2 nights and get the night before and I was driving back the next day after my treatment. The doc said t they did not use any machine so the whole procedure was done manually. Why did I decide on Fargo? All the other clinics suggested they could do the FUT treatment right away and Farjo was the only one who suggested that I should try out the medication first (both Fin and Rogaine foam) to see how I responded to the treatment. After 9 months on the medication makes a significant difference. Here is the timeline. Jan 2019: Just before the treatment on Aug 2020 - On the treatment day. Day 3 - Day 5 it's just getting better I feel itchy at the top of my head anyone in the donor area but apart from that it's okay I sleep well last night 3-week progress. I'm doing well and I have been washing my hair properly. Started using this minoxidil again. Day 26: Day 50: Everything just going fine and I'm living like normal and no difference at all. Continue using minoxidil once or twice daily. 3 Months progress: 4 month progress: 8 month Progress: 18 month Progress: Latest May 2023 -
  5. Deciding on my second I am 38 and UK based, looking to schedule my second Hair Transplant. I had my first FUE transplant in the Summer of 2020 from the UK, which was 1400 Grafts. I have been on the HT journey since 2017. I’ve been applying (once a day) Rogaine foam almost daily. Also taking Fin (1mg) for the last few years. Not very regular with fin it’s like on/off. I have been looking for a second FUE for the last few months. I am getting different opinions from different clinics and this rings a bell. For the first two, I visited the clinic in person and met the doctor. Fargo: I have been to my previous clinic/doctor, who suggested adding 1000 to 1200 grafts to the top left to cover the area. They suggested that I don’t have a strong donor and may lose more hair on both sides of my scalp in the next few years. Their cost is approx £6k for the procedure. DHI-Global - I also visited a different clinic in London that specialises in DHI and they suggested 3000 hairs (e.g. 1500 grafts) to the top and middle part of the scalp. Ignore the Crown for now. HairDr, suggested 2000 grafts at the top/front and 1500 for the crown area. It was a virtual call with the Patient coordinator and I did not meet with the Doc. I have attached pictures for current state. This is just before my first FUE. The following are the latest pictures, after almost 3 years for the procedure.
  6. For my first FUE, I decided to go with Fargo Clinic and it was with Dr Willams in Manchester. The overall result is okay and it could be better. I think 1400 grafts were not enough and in my opinion, they have a very conservative approach and kind of scare of you for the years ahead. I could be wrong here and only the time will tell if their conservative approach is good in the long run. I am in the UK and looking for an option for my second FUE.
  7. That's true. I heard a lot about him and there are not many reviews about him or any other doctors. What have you decided at the end?
