  1. It's very difficult to cover the crown area. Be patient, you will be fine. Give us a little more information. Number of grafts, etc.
  2. After a few days I looked like I had just gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. No pain at all but just pretty puffy. As quick as it occurred, it diminished just as quick. You will look fine in a few short days.
  3. Looks like you are well prepared! If your doctor prescribes anything for pain, take it. I thought I was a tough guy and didn't take the pain meds prescribed and wish I had the first day or two. Stay ahead of the pain relief. It's not terrible but I should have listened and taken the meds as prescribed the first night. Took ibuprofen after that. Keep us posted with your progress.
  4. Thanks for the video! Looks super good! Glad you are happy. The crown area looks nice! That's a big accomplishment!!!
  5. I'm not sure how to search for prior cases or key words on this site but I know I've seen guys occasionally post pictures of late growth. Hang in there. Maybe someone will read this and share their story.
  6. Looking forward to some pictures in a couple months! Happy growing.
  7. Hang in there. There are plenty of guys with late growth on the this site.
  8. I just posted a couple of pictures of new hairs popping through the scalp at the 11 week point in my crown area (on my website below). Everyone is different and you may be a late "bloomer" in this case. Happens to many guys. Merry Christmas.
  9. Hang in there. Let's hope for more growth in the 5th and 6th month.
  10. Well.... TicToc rears its ugly head. Pardon the pun. Not ugly at all but I do hope these guys are happy down the road.
  11. You have lots to look forward to in 3-4 months. All's well.
  12. If you want some comparisons, I posted pictures every couple weeks after my 5,000 graft surgery in 2012. I did have an additional 2,000 FUE two years later. Check out the archives and compare with your results on my website. MyFUEhairtransplant.com
  13. Looks good after 3 weeks. You will typically lose that frontal hair but the recovering will be great in a few months. Keep us posted.
  14. Just to be safe, wear some head gear (skull cap) similar to what the Olympic swimmers wear.
  15. Great results with the number of grafts. Well done. Hope he doesn't take any medications for hair loss. I've never taken any meds in my 10 year 7,000 graft journey.
  16. I was a Norwood VI and close to a VII. I had over 7,000 grafts in 2 surgeries from 3 large donor areas in 2012 and 2014. I've had zero medications in my hair journey. I'm sure medications work well for some but there are plenty of guys like me who have never taken anything. My wife is a hair dresser and cuts my hair every 6 weeks or so. Ten years have gone by and she says she still sees no noticeable hair loss. I just wanted to share my personal observations. In my case FUE was GREAT for a "big" surgery and my 10 year results are proof of that. Just wanted to respectfully share another perspective.
  17. Everything seems quite normal. Relax and enjoy the hair growth in 3-4 months. Send us some pictures in a few months.
  18. Congratulations. Super results. I'm sure you're thrilled. Good for you and thanks for sharing.
  19. I agree with everyone above. I know it's difficult, but just be patient. I think you will start to see new growth in the next couple months. Keep us informed!
  20. Looks great, congrats! Good result with the number of grafts used. Well done.
  21. I agree with Melvin. Just grow it out a bit more. You look fine.
