  1. Personally, I’ve done with British Hair Clinic, YouTube them. A few celebs have been there now, have branches up north and down south. Numan , forhims, manual there are many now that offer the finasteride and minoxidil treatments. They won’t work miracles but you could be on your way to baldness that could be prevent by taking them so for the cost of a decent hair cut a month, it will keep those patches away. Worth it in my opinion. you can have PRP treatments with a hair transplant surgery too which is a popular preventative, look it up.
  2. Nice replies on here Guys. with a mixed bag of extremes but the general consensus is that AntiAx meds or further pain numbing should of been given. For the person that asked, here is my before and during and after. im on day 3 now. Totally on board with the itching, lack of sleep etc as I was expecting it. The surgery really caught me off guard though as it was made out by so many to be a breeze. I’m covered in tattoos and found them to be less painful an experience for sure.
  3. No, just the local anesthetic at the start and when I asked during the procedure. I wasn’t anxious, I was excited before it. I was found it surprisingly painful and uncomfortable. reviews that people have fallen to sleep baffles me.
  4. Hi Bud. first of all, given you’re nearly 30 and have baldness in the family, you’ve got a much better head of hair than I have. As a result, I’m on day 2 post FUE. the fact you’re finding yourself on these sites, tells me you’re already taking stages to doing it. I can assure you, it’s not a big deal. It will cost a few quid, it hurts for a bit and ultimately, you’ll never need to feel the anxiousness you’re currently feeling, forcing you to come to sites like this. not only will the meds you take along with the transplant mean it will stop you going bald, it will also give you the hairline and options of styles you may never of even had when younger. Resulting in more confidence. make a few calls, look at your local surgery’s before Turkey. Costs more but you get better after care, can see and speak to them again if needed and you’re home if you have any complications. go for it mate!!
  5. After extensive research, video watching and reviews I gathered the injections will hurt. The rest will be fine and I could even fall asleep. I’ve many tattoos so I was genuinely excited on the day of my opp. Absolutely no nerves. is it just me that found it horrific? lay on a massage table for 6 hours. My shoulders ached as they were locked into awkward positions. My jaw felt as though is was bruising as it was pressed against the hard cushion. I often got hot, being sat in the same position but not wanting to wriggle around, caused me to feel more flustered. the natural bruising of the head and burn of all the local they gave me very much come to the surface in the final hour or two. And with two surgeons picking away at your scalp whilst feeling all of the above; in the knowledge you’ve at least 90 minutes left was mentally, tough. I don’t know if I should have just asked for more local throughout and was trying to take on more pain than was necessary? The pinch and sharpness of those jabs to numb you is a straight up 8/9 out of 10. Whilst they only hurt for 4 or 5 seconds, you do have about 30 through the surgery, of which you can feel at least 15 of them good and proper. I need a second FUE, and knew this before my appointment. But I’m genuinely considering leaving my bald patch and just having a buzz cut to show off my new hairline without the need to continue.
  6. So I walked in with a right birds nest on the top of my head and the good old island at the front. No style to grow it into anymore, so I bicked my head and was happy doing so. long story short, I decided to fight back against aging rather than accepting it and went for a transplant. I had 2306 grafts, and between single double and triple hairs, they transferred over 4,000 hairs. the surges advised before the op that we tackle the hair line. Fill the gaps and thicken the middle. Leaving my crown completely for a second operation. They said I’d need anything up to 2,000 on my crown and wouldn’t want to take 4,000 or more grafts from my Doner area in one go. I’ve done a lot of research and do agree with this advice. So we pulled the trigger. I’m happy with the hairline, they actually went further back than I thought they were going to which is great. However. I’m going to have a strong, healthy looking front of head and a nice chunky bald patch at the back until my second FUE. it’s a bit Gutting walking out of a £5,000 surgery, going through the itching and swelling of recovery and letting the next 12 months past all in the knowledge I’m still going to have a bald patch. Buzz cuts for me! anybody else in this situation?
