  1. You're a Norwood 6/7 with retrograde alopecia. You will need more than two surgeries. I want to be straight up with you, because we don't sell hair transplants here, we educate. If you're not willing to spend the time and money, don't get one done. I have seen too many guys regret it and then want to shave. You will not be able to shave after getting an HT, especially FUT. Really think about it. I'm not trying to discourage you, but I do want you to be prepared for what is in store.
  2. Hey Guys, Tomorrow will be the first time we EVER live stream the podcast. I have done a few pre-recorded, but now, we're going to make it interactive. You will get to join and ask questions. If any of you want to ask specific questions regarding your case, feel free to share your pictures and questions with me via pm. I will forward it to the doctors and make sure they answer it during the podcast. This the first of MANY! Starts at 12pm to 1pm Pacific Time. It will be live streaming from our YouTube channel "Hair Transplant Network" see you guys there!
  3. I have never heard of a Dr. Huber. I would strongly suggest doing some research here before pulling the trigger on any particular surgeon. Never let cost or location be the reason you choose a surgeon. Choose a surgeon based on results. You are a VERY difficult case. You will need multiple procedures, and A LOT of grafts. SMP might be a better option. You need to be sure you are in it for the long haul. If you embark on this journey, know it will cost a lot of time and money.
  4. I have had 4 and no way in hell I look as good. This is gonna be one for the hall of fame.
  5. If you can’t afford a decent surgeon. Do not get surgery. Doing nothing is never a bad choice.
  6. Looking great, if you grow it out even longer the illusion of density will improvez
  7. In my experience, yes larger sessions take longer to grow. Hair follicles are independent and grow at different rates. For me, the crown is growing the slowest.
  8. I would not trust topical from Minoxidil Max. Not all topicals are created equal, just like surgeons.
  9. Finasteride is definitely working, though I would say you are a diffused Norwood 5 not 3. There is no perfect clinic, what you should look for is how the clinic handles poor cases. That is the most important thing. That said, if you don't feel comfortable, nothing wrong with not getting surgery. After all, doing nothing is never a bad choice.
  10. Try and use our list of recommendations as a starting point for research. https://hairtransplantnetwork.com/best-hair-transplant-surgeons
  11. Definitely improving each month, exciting times!!
  12. Bro, I hope you filmed it, super excited to see your journey. Possibly the best HT of the year!
  13. Wow what a roller coaster. Sorry you got this knee injury. The rain seems to have a terrible affect on joints. The good news. Getting a hair transplant is mostly resting, so hopefully you can rehab the knee while getting your hair done.
  14. I think this work illustrates the reality with hair transplants. This also illustrates why comparing people is useless. No two people are the same, this patient has medium thickness, as opposed to thick hair. He also has a large degree of hair loss. If you don’t think this is good, I would urge you to reconsider surgery.
  15. Best to start on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday split. Make sure you only wash your hair two days after application.
