  1. Your result looks fantastic, I can see why you're happy with the outcome
  2. I think while there is some truth here about showcasing particular results, at the same time because the stuff showcased by Erdogan and Doganay are not quite as good as Lorenzo's it stands to reason they just don't produce the same caliber of results.
  3. If you haven't already you should invest a lot of time researching all pictures and experiences you can find online regarding those doctors. Check their website, search every hairloss site, google their names for forums posts and blogs, search youtube, etc. Look at and read everything you can. After a while you should be able to distinguish the results from the different doctors. At that point, order the doctors in terms of who you like the most. Then repeat this entire process several more times over the course of weeks/months, let the information really soak in Then hopefully you should have a better idea of what's worth it.
  4. The one issue I can think of is if it's an outdoor swimming pool and you still have redness, the sun exposure will prolong the redness.
  5. It really comes down to what you think of their results. You see things differently than everyone else. But in my opinion the three you mentioned, especially Lorenzo and Feriduni, produce noticeably better results than Doganay and Erdogan and if getting the best result is your main goal then you should definitely go with one of them.
  6. For relatively unknown doctors, I would be curious about this too.. but I would also never go to such a doctor anyways. Better to stick with the ones who have lots of results and experiences documented by users. In the OP Bisanga and Feriduni were mentioned. If either of those two told me magical faeries did all the graft work, I wouldn't have a problem. Whatever they're doing over there, they're doing it right. I know that from other research.
  7. You can edit out your posts, you only have 10 so you could do all of them pretty quickly
  8. I figure let the results speak. If the doctor does absolutely nothing, but the results from the clinic are spectacular... does it really matter?
  9. While 0.25/week is better than nothing I wouldn't think it is enough to be effective overall. The effect of the initial dosage would be diminished greatly after the 1st day. So that's kind of like 1 day on, 6 days off. If you think it worked though, can't really argue with that. But it doesn't sound like there's much you can do if 0.25/week was too much. The other possibility is these side effects are unrelated to Fin and are due to just getting older. You were on the drug for a long time with no problems afterall. If you think it's the drug, and then take the drug, you can convince yourself the problem is getting worse and it's the drug causing it.
  10. Easily the stupidest question I've seen. Don't ever post a stupid question like this again. God I can't even stand to look at it. Kidding One of the reasons the hairs come in at different times is because not all hairs were transplanted in the recipient area exactly the same. Some may get more blood flow than others based on their location and how they were transplanted. There may be other reasons, but what you're describing sounds completely normal. You shouldn't expect to see a improvement until at least 6 months out, and it can take up to 18 months for the full result. Everyone progresses differently.
  11. What was your dosage? Maybe try lowering it. Just 0.25mg per day is almost as effective as 1mg per day.
  12. Much appreciated for the answers, helps give me an idea of what to expect. I'm not sure if I can out lift 215-225 to be honest, need to get to training. Look forward to seeing your progress pics, if you plan to post em
  13. Thanks for sharing, your post op pics look very solid. I like the temple point work. Interesting that the frontal area of your hairline was left untouched, I think this was a good idea but I'm curious did you leave it be because it already looks natural and to save grafts? I'll be seeing Feriduni next month and will be aiming for a design very similar to yours temple points and all. I have some Q's if you don't mind, 1. How flexible was Feriduni with the hairline design? Did it seem like it was his way or the highway, or do you feel he was open to suggestions and modifications? 2. Do you know how many grafts were used just on your temple points? 3. Is there anything you didn't pack that after the procedure you would have liked to have? Anything the clinic did or didn't provide that you did not see coming? 4. How much does Cristian bench?
  14. Based on my consultation with him I agree he is a bit conservative. He seems to really like the "U" hairline design and then transition to the temple area with sweeping archs. So if you want something other than that you may run into problems You should do an online consultation with him and send a picture of your head with the hairline you want drawn and see what his thoughts are.
  15. There's a lot of general information on the page in the link, and I honestly have no idea what the point is that you're trying to make.
  16. I'll be doing FUE next month but I don't suspect to need to max out all possible available donor hairs in the future. I would think most people are in the same boat. If I thought right now I might need to use as much donor hair as possible later on I'd still start out with FUE and reserve FUT as a last resort later on down the road. Fair point but I would argue if you anticipated needing all available donor hairs in the future, you could start out having FUE harvested around where a strip would be taken anyways. Either way I think saving the most damaging procedure for last, in case you don't need to do it, is generally a good idea. Now if you're already a NW6/7, are trying to do it all at once, and needFUT to get maximum every last possible donor grafts you have... well then yeah I guess you have to. But situations like that are very rare and the person might be better off going with a more conserative hair design and avoiding the FUT anyways.
  17. I don't see why you couldn't use the moth eaten strip still. If you had done FUE previously in the area, then maybe 30% of the hairs were already extracted and used. So then there's still 70% left, which is still a lot. I'd rather exhaust my donor grafts with FUE first as opposed start havesting with FUT.
  18. The scars from FUE extractions are so small you can't really "scar badly"... they're less than 1mm. This is like saying there's risks involved in both driving to work and walking a tight rope free form over a 1000 cliff. Yeah... there is, it just turns out one has a lot more risk. This is like comparing an ant bite to a shark bite. Yes, you technically scar from FUE but the scars are magnitudes smaller. There is really no comparison.
  19. How does your post op redness look? Ideally you should avoid the sun until the redness is gone. If there's still redness and you get prolonged sun exposure it may significantly delay the redness disappearing.
  20. I don't think the stretching of the scar is as easy to predict. People scar to varying degrees and one big factor is how much collagen the body produces when healing. A lot of people who do scar aggressively don't actually know it either because... well, why would they. They're not doctors. They don't really notice or care... until something like FUT happens. I had my share of serious cuts and lacerations... lots of stitches... but had no idea I scarred aggressively until a very serious accident a few years ago that almost killed me. Then it became apparent, and the doctors were sure to point it out too. So I'm of the opinion if you scar aggressively you can do FUT with a top doctor, follow all the post op procedures, and end up with a 1cm+ scar after the stitches are taken out. Who knows for sure, but do I really want to find out?
  21. I agree with this, the best FUE doctors basically mirror the best FUT results... at that level the difference is undetectable, if there is one. Aside from saving some money the only other advantage I can think of is the ability to harvest a larger amount of total hairs before you run out. But I don't quite understand this point of view for three reasons, You can just do FUE until you run out of donor hair on your head, then do FUT to get more if absolutely necessary to get a similar number of max hairs. There's already cases of people going from NW5-6 to NW2 with fantastic results using just FUE anyways. Not everyone may be able to do this, but still. Most people will not need or want to exhaust all their donor hairs anyways, but if you do... see #1. So IMO there really is no fundamental advantage of FUT so long as you choose the right doctor and are willing to spend some more money. A lot of FUT advocates like to brush aside the risk with FUT or play down the appearance of the scar. No one can gaurantee you a great scar, when the stitches come out it's going to stretch... a big factor in how much it stretches depends on your skin characteristics. But the bottom line is the scar is magnitudes more apparent than FUE in everyone case ... and there's always the risk it will stretch a lot and turn out very badly. This is a deal breaker to me considering all I have to do to avoid this is find a top doctor and pay a bit more. It is much more time consuming for doctors to perform FUE. For many docs it would be in their best interest if no one wanted FUE. Keep that in mind when discussing FUT with both doctors and representatives... it's in their best interest for you to want to do FUT. Sometime, probably in the near future, there will be a large concensus that FUT is not a reasonable option compared to FUE. Until then...
  22. It is proven to be more effective than Fin in regards to blocking DHT. But that isn't necessarily a good thing. As you block closer and closer to 100% DHT side effects seem to become more real.
  23. Oh snap that's right Lorenzo is in the UK. Definitely look at his results and consider him.
  24. Nothin but respect, I'm glad you're happy with your result!
