  1. Bill, is the rivalry really so bad? Can`t you just have a nice conversation with Spencer Kobren, and just reconcile the situation between the two sites? It is somehow a strange feeling when I am on BTT, and I know I can`t name or link to the HRN, and almost the same here. I have to say I prefer the HRN much more due to numerous reasons, and I am not just saying this, but can`t both of you come to a better agreement than "If you`re not allowing links to us, then we ain`t gonna do that either", and the other way around. One "side" has to make a start, and I am sure it`ll work out fine. Or do you fear that it is somehow like a defeat or sth. if you`re contacting him to ask whether both of you will allow links to each other? Maybe I am too naive, and this is hard business, and I am missing some important points to consider, but I am just being idealistic here
  2. In this post f.e., I intended to post a link which nature was only informational, and quite important for the whole discussion: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/170411-dr-villnow-treated-borussia-dortmund-coach-juergen-klopp-3.html#post2348384 The link directed to a german hair loss forum, which in fact does allow links to your forum (I know that because I regularly post links to the HRN there). So why has it been removed? Two posts later, I tried to post a link also relevant to the discussion, and in order to back up my claim, and it was removed, too. As far as I remember, the link simply directed to a german news site. I know that in single cases, faults might happen, but I have become so unsure about what I can post or not that I simply completely avoid to post any links whatsoever except links to the HRN itself. But thanks at this point for clarifying once and for all the criteria of appropriate links
  3. Hi, I have very few time right now, but as exhaustive as possible: Yes, he is an excellent surgeon, from what I`ve seen and heard also (and especially) regarding BHT. I am more than satisfied with every aspect of my journey and procedure. Juts check my thread (in my signature), or read some other threads of users here that have undergone their FUE with Dr. Bhatti. The care of health/hygiene is at the same standard as european clinics. I wouldn`t bother about that at all. I payed USD 1,25 /graft, but I heard that it`s now 1,28. Still the dollar is quite weak ;-) You can fly to Delhi in about 8 hours from central europe, then you go by taxi (organised by the office of Dr. Bhatti) or by plane directly to Chandigarh. But if you`re in the UK, I would just contact Reid Crowley, he is his representative and may answer all your questions much more substantially;-) I think his office is in Bristol.
  4. Thanks again, you`re the best So I suppose the error probability, at least theoretically, is lower with Dr. Nigams technique, as he sees the follicle while cutting it, hence he can work much more precise than Dr. Gho, who has more or less to work blindly with his 0.5 mm punch? I also think I once read that Dr. Nigam is using medical ultrasonics to get a better picture of the direction the follicle grows, in order to keep the damage as low as possible. Do you think that this technique will establish one day in other clinics, also with "normal" FUE, or isn`t there really need to, as skillful FUE docs anyway are able to keep the transection rate so low that it wouldn`t make a significant difference? However, if Gho is succesful with his method, he deserves lots of kudos for his skills. This may be the most challenging fine mechanical work being done in the field. Still I wonder why he doesn`t publish a representative amount of results to prove them.
  5. Thank you so much, Blake! Because this topic is so interesting, I have two more questions, if you don`t mind: 1. Does Dr. Gho do the same as Dr. Nigam now? 2. How many patients have yet been treated with each of the methods and when can we expect meaningful results? Again, thanks in advance!
  6. I would not go with Dr. Maral. he seems highly suspicious to me. One member got a very strange answer: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/170482-fue-booked-dr-maral-turkey-2.html#post2349547 Also why doesn`t he show results on his page? Thirdly it is kind of strange that he charges the same price for all sizes of procedures.. There are so many good, affordable docs in Turkey, why take that risk?
  7. Future, thanks for your effort in educating us Me too, I have to confess that I am a little confused about the appearently two different procedures. As I am not a native speaker, it is quite difficult for me to be in the know of even the main principle of the methods used. It would be highly appreciated if you could give me/us a quick, clearly arranged overview that can be understood also by simple men as me, just like f.e. principle of the method, chances, risks, how many patients are treated by now and when do we can expect meaningful results. Thank you so much!
  8. I only know the german contact site, unfortunately, it`s forbidden to post any outside links here. I would suggest you just google him. Try hairtransplant turkey demirsoy f.e.. There are also some experiences posted on this site and possibly a few others. Again; just use the search function on this site or Google
  9. I thought Demirsoy charges about 1 Euro per Graft, which is about 90 dollarcents?? Another good option would be Dr. Bhatti, he charges about 1,25. I am more than satisfied with my experience.
  10. Don`t you ever go to Beautytravels 24! I researched them, and they are highly suspicious imo! Just a good advice.. They have no results online and don`t want to show any. Instead they obviously are uploading fake patient testimonies on the german forum alopezie.de, but users there only laugh about it. Unfortunately however newbies may get impressed by their tactics. They also claim to have a certificate from the german "T?V", a testing centre which for (naive) germans is translated with "quality". But firstly there were numerous scandals published that T?V gave certificates in highly questionable cases, and secondly the certificate only (!) relates to "service quality", hence doesn`t has to do anything with the medical attendance whatsoever. They also claim to have like 5 doctors and 1 professor while performing the surgery :-/ The doctor who obviously performs the procedures, Dr. Ljohiy is not specialised on FUE?s but does other cosmetic surgery, beside, he is`n experienced at all. If you have a limited budget, I would go with Demirsoy. Another good option is Bhatti.
  11. Yes of course, I totally forgot the belgian docs: Devroye (very affordable!), Mwamba, Feriduni and Bisanga.
  12. Yes of course, I totally forgot the belgian docs: Devroye (very affordable!), Mwamba, Feriduni and Bisanga.
  13. Hi, you have excellent clinics in Switzerland (Heitmann, FUE, and Hattingen, FUT), along with some very good docs in Turkey (Erdogan, Doganay, Keser, also Demirsoy is not bad at all). Just use the search function to review results and experiences.
  14. Wow! It`s progressing well, just compare them to your 3-months pictures.
  15. Thanks for your comments! @recedingboy: I don`t know if I have that amount of salt in the house ;-) But you`re right mate, me too I am yet thinking about some hairline touch up in order to make the hairline softer. I asked Dr. Bhatti about that, and he said he could add some nape or arm hair f.e.. I think every surgeon has fields in which he is better, and maybe some in which he still can learn. I guess Dr. Bhatti obviously reaches incredibly low transection rates, which is awesome. So far, I think Dr. Bhatti is at least one of the best to go to for larger sessions (NW4+) and BHT. After my fancy, his hairlines could be a little bit more irregular. I am sure that if the patient talks with him about that prior to the procedure, Dr. Bhatti will create a hairline according to the special wishes of the patient. But he is also very ambitious and always wants to improve, at least that`s my impression of him, so I guess if one talks with him about that, he may take a little different approach in his future clients considering the hairline design. I guess I will talk with him about that. Nobody get`s born a Konior ;-) Actually I anyway wanted to talk with him about that, and ask him if he will perhaps pioneer in placing nape or arm hair in the hairline for every client`s hairline or at least offering that to the patient explicitly. I think that would be great and he would get unbeatable in every field ;-) Having said that, it is not that my hairline is pluggy or looks somehow artificial. Not at all actually. People I meet that don`t know about the HT don`t look at my hairline at all, even in a close conversation. Also if I look at it from a distance or the other way, very close, I am not 100 % satisfied, but I am totally ok with it. It doesn`t look unnatural, it is like a natural hairline, but not as soft as it could be. But I`ve seen people having such hairlines by nature. Of course a hairline with more irrgegular elements looks somehow better.. @HairKlapto: You`re right, on that area with that amount of grafts I think I can`t expect much much much more, I realisticly think that I am about 60 % or so. If that`s right, I`m gonna be a very very happy man after 8,9,10,11,12 months. Yet can`t wait to see the end result Please keep in mind that it is still a very early stage, and considering that, I actually can`t expect more than what I have now. I surf the net a lot looking for progress reports and results, and I`ve seen such bad results and yield rates from surgeons who charge you 3x, 4x, ... 10x than Dr. Bhatti. If I look at most of the other hairloss websites here on the HRN, with patients having paid prices per graft that me as a student couldn`t even think about, I think my progress is at least in the upper third.
  16. Ladies and gentlemen, please find my 4-months-update right here: Hair Restoration Journal for Questionmark - 4 months Please tell me what you think so far. How much more density is there to expect? I know that according to the general growth timeline, I should be at ca. 25 % only, but I feel that I am at about 50 or 60?? Thanks so much for following my journey and taking the time to comment in here!
  17. I am not aware of the internet copyright law, but I assume that everybody has got a right to publish or remove personal pictures as long as he wants. Probably the thread starter had an agreement with his surgeon that caused him to do so. Hope this could help a bit..
  18. Is there any documentation of a permanent case over several years? The picture presented by escar doesn`t convince me, as it is taken from a distance way too far as one could evaluate if there is fading or not. Do you have any better pictures to present to us? Thx in advance! But even if, I think that we would need to see more long-time cases. I think every tattoo will fade over time, and the finer the structure of it once was, the bigger the difference in the appearance will be. Also the tattoo is placed on a spot that is most exposed to sunlight, and sunlight will speed up the process of fading. Just have a look at tattoos that were made back in the 80ies or even 70ies... Why would that be different with permanent SMP?
  19. Looks very good, perfect conservative hairline design, too! Thanks for posting! A dry 12 months picture would be great.
