  1. @michaeljames: You are aware that the question dates from 2009? Btw: This thread has over 4000 views with 9 answers...
  2. Hi, it is a detail of following picture: **outside link removed by moderator** So it is Klopp`s hairline indeed. You can trust me, I wouldn`t post that without knowing what I am actually posting:) I guess however also without knowing the full picture one could recognize the transplant anyway, as I consider it quite unique. I am not a doctor, but thanks I feel honoured, I am in fact just an ordinary law student from - - Bavaria:D Thus I have a natural interest in bashing Kloppos transplant;) I hereby proudly proclaim my deep deep love to Bayern Munich:D No just kidding, regardless of my personal war against Klopp, I just think the results are not exceptional, there are so many things to consider in the evaluation whether a surgeon does bad, ok, good, very good or exceptional good at his job on a consistent basis which is lastly also documented. And I think we have just very few material, actually only Advocaat and Klopp. I know this may be because clinics are not allowed to promote themselves in Germany via before and after pics, but they could do so abroad. Regardless of that, in my (!) personal (!) humble (!) opinion both cases are average, although the yield seems to be good, but I am quite concerned about Klopps hairline design. Unfortunately, I can`t find pictures on Dr. Villnows website, perhaps I am too dumb or blind, perhaps it`s due to the before mentioned legal issue, perhaps all three. So to conclude the only cases that are accessible to us are two quite average ones, while I would bet that the prices are first class. Many, if not all celebs tend to be impressed - just as us ordinary small human beings - by eloquent looking and speaking self-displaying old show-offs with tons of money, a fancy clinic with a pompous entrance hall and the most expensive devices in the surgeries, and last but not least excellent ties to the high society. Of course they need at least average surgical skill, and badaboom you have your society clinic which will be promoted in the main stream media by sweetly presented, but actually superficial or even empty information. The celebrities get what they are searching for there: The feeling to be with the best. And that`s ok for them, but not for me f.e., even if I would have the money to afford the worlds objectively best surgeon for my specific situation. I don`t care about the surroundings, all that counts is the skill and nothing but that. I don`t want to suggest in any way that Dr. Villnow is not a good surgeon, but I would be very careful about deriving the skill of a doctor from the clinic he works in or the VIP grade of some patients that vist and promote him. Furthermore, as before mentioned, I think we barely can do an evaluation of his skills at all due to the bare lack of information. Judging from only two published cases would be unfair in one way or the other. On the objectivity of this great forum and a fair game on the 25th:D EDIT: Sorry, I only read your post in a superficial way and thus missed that you told me about the english website. I apologize for that. After looking it up, I have to say that the price is not in the heights I initially expected, but rather ok. Still it is far more expensive than f.e. Doganay, Keser, Demirsoy who deliver far better results. Moreover, I now am sure there are no additional pictures of Klopp in better quality whatsoever, but only three cases "presented": Advocaat with very poor pictures, but at least they show his progress, which is disappointingly not the case regarding the other two patients "2" and "3", from whose we are only shown the placing of the grafts, which is indeed questionable I think. Why not show the progress?
  3. Thanks for your explanation, doc, which is as always very interesting and coherent. I anyway just once wanted to say this here, that I am impressed by the way you are taking part in this forum!
  4. I have simply raised a legitimate question, so if someone feels being put off by asking whether he knows any result but this singular one, I don`t know what to think. If he then doesn`t answer that fundamental question, then why has he brought him up anyway? Beside that, I don`t think that it is an outstanding result at all regarding the hairline design, everybody that knows a little about transplants obviously sees the unnaturalness of the hairline. Sorry, but that`s just my opinion. There is a definite improvement in the overall appearance, but it is not top quality work imho. Maybe there are even 2s in the first row: **outside link removed by moderator** I highly appreciate you and BVBler bringing up new unknown doctors, but if so, it has to be allowed that those are openly and honestly discussed by the community.
  5. I didn`t intend to be direct, either;) I mean, come on: What do you expect us to comment? Just have a laugh? I was just interested in the context (which doctor, what did the consultant say etc.) and thought you could perhaps telling us a little about to "back the story up" I mean: Why would people be so **** to bring an obviously false picture of themselves in?
  6. BUMP. Hasn`t anybody on here have an experience about possible healing of the "pittings". Jo teached us how they happen to appear, but what`s interesting for the patient is whether they will disappear. Patient is now month 5 and the holes are unchanged. So thanks everybody!
  7. You may also look up the hairlines designed by Dr. Diep (f.e.: /watch?v=C0MCZDpivIk, hair transplant san jose|Bay Area hair transplants | Silicon Valley hair transplants | Hair transplants San Jose California | Hair transplants for thinning hairlines) and perhaps Dr. Dorin. But if Konior woudn`t have been named before yet, I would have put him on number 1:-)
  8. Hi, are you looking into FUE or FUT? Dr. Bhatti is another great FUE surgeon, he is located in Chandigarh, you can find some experiences and also postings from him on this site.
  9. Gaelic, will there be armpit hair transplanted now or not?
  10. I don`t wish luck to you - because you won`t need it - but a great journey, lots of interesting experiences and just a good, relaxed time in India! Keep us updated!
  11. Mate, just chill, nothing to be angry about, I?m cool with him, I don`t think he`s a bad person at all, so why bother, everybody gotta learn, life`s a journey Greetings to you and Augustya!
  12. Three months is still very early, and it`s a hard waiting game. Btw I see a pimple, and that`s a good sign, I think;-) Just have patience! All the best!
  13. There was a Radha thread I think in which you`ve made such a correct assumption not long time ago. But you`re right, actually the more I rethink my assumption the more stupid it gets. Shame on me ;-)
  14. lol, didn`t see this. But would be spooky otherwise ;-)
  15. @maspelo: Bist du`s? Servus!! :-) @ Mickey: Wow, it`s simply amazing how you always can judge just from pictures or very few information which surgeon the patient underwent his transplant with! You`re the champ!
  16. I`m out for good now, but will still be reading this funny thread. I mean, Augustya, are you trolling or really having all those fears? If so, I would advise you just to get into consultation with Dr. Bhatti to perhaps calm you down, if he won`t be capable to do so, I would advise you to visit anotgher surgeon or stay away from hair transplants in general. I wish you all the best!
  17. Hi Augustya, just wanna say sorry I you felt offended or sth., I guess it was a prime example of a misunderstanding from beginning til the end! Forgiven? To be quite frank, if I would have to critizise anything about Dr. Bhattis work, it would be the hairline design. Of course every doc takes his own approach, but I personally like the hairlines of Dr. Konior and Dr. Diep (to Mickey: It`s about the hairline here only ;-)) for example. Dr. Bhatti rather does a straight line, not a zick-zack-line or some little convexities or sth. But I am sure, if you explicitly ask him to take an approach as you wish, he will be the last to ignore that and not put the patients wish into practice. Perhaps you can show him some example pictures or so. So again: Just talk to him, he won`t bite your head off ;-)
  18. Augustya, I won`t comment on the things you hinted at in a more or less unacceptable way (alcoholism, mental problems), but I am sure the moderators are aware. I did not intended to make conclusions out of my interpretations, nor did I do it, that is why I in fact was asking you what you mean by your quoted post. I rather think that you`re the one deriving conclusions out of material you`re not able to assess properly. I will tell you why I think so, and why I finally asked (!) you if you`re assuming that Dr. Bhattis estimation of your graft count is unethical: Maybe I am the only one having difficulties to understand you, but you opened four threads just for your case " What Do People Here Suggest ?", "FUT or FUE" " Is Dr.Tejinder Bhatti Reccomended?" and finally " How many more Grafts for Widow's Peak ?", which makes it a little hard to view anyway. I invested a lot of time and effort just to help you out, and you`re offending me like that? But whatever: In this thread, posting # 13, you wrote: "So if one reputed Dr tells me say 600 grafts and for the same thing if a equally reputed Dr tells me 1000 grafts How do I decide who is giving me a correct estimate and what is the correct, true number of grafts that I require and that is indeed the case 3-4 doctors that I have met, sent my pictures all have given me different number of estimates !! So now how Do I know who is correct and how much do I require ?" So I conclude that you`ve not hypothecally, but in fact asked four doctors for their opinions regarding your graft count (quote: "indeed the case"). So one doc gave you the number of 1000 grafts. Who could that be? So in one your other threads, the Bhatti thread, the same day you related to a post of Mickey as followed: "Originally Posted by Mickey85 "This this and this! Bhatti is the best FUE surgeon in India by far. He only practices strip in conjunction with fue(fue/fut hybrid) but his strip work is absolutely brutal. He has made alot of outlandish claims on fue that even i dont agree with. When any doctor(any) claims less than 2% transection, that is not right. I dont care which surgeon you are. However, claims aside he does have some great resulta out there just be cautious that he doesnt use grafts for the sake of using thek if you know what i mean." Your reply: "I get your point Mate and that is what I am most worried about I know with my kind of requirement which even the tools now given here to measure a estimate hair grafts required confirm this, that I don't require a lot of grafts so the moment a Dr starts talking about some outrageously high number of hair grafts that I would require like 1000-1500 it really starts ringing the red alarm in my mind" So one has not to be mentally insane or drunk to conclude that someone told you a number of grafts which is too high in your opinion and that you now fear that that might be due to a potentially unethical attitude. Then Mickey wrote in post # 23 in your thread "How many more grafts...": "Just tell thr surgeon you want to stay conservative and preserve your donor." And you quoted that such in post # 26: "Originally Posted by Mickey85 Just tell bhatti you want to stay conservative and preserve your donor." And you answered by: "what if he then tells me I cannot make it look thicker and fuller then dont blame it on me" I guess if a doctor makes such a drastic statment, the best point is not to get it done from him atall. Because then it raises question on the whole performance, quality of the results. That speaks a lot, if somebody goes on to make such a statement. You then on the same day asked me via PM: "I hope by now you would have gone thorugh my thraed on the Hair Grafts that I require. I wanted to ask you this since you have already done a HT with Dr. Bhatti do you think he is that kind of a person. Since the number of Hair Grafts that I require is so low whic really doesnt let him earn make money from me. so for to cover that deficit amount he will tell me hmore number of Hair Grafts when I actually require quite less. To make a proper amount of money from him. Do you think he would do that ?" And I think I gave you a satisfying and reassuring answer, for which I invested some time (as do the others here trying to help you out for days now) So in my understanding you`ve asked four docs about their opinions (at least that`s what you wrote), and one gave you a count about 1000 grafts (or not; so was that the beginning of your hypothetical trips?). I cannot understand your statements at all if a doctor (whoever it is) proposed that count to you, as I explained in my earlier posts, but I think it is even on the border to paranoia if actually no one told you that count, and you`re having all those misgivings expressed just at large. I have finally found a post which makes me understand that this is actually the case: "So now because I cannot afford him, I decide to move to the second best I have mentioned his name here who is in the North of India who I may want to get in touch with, but because his rates are so low to make up for the deficit he might unnecessarily give me a higher estimate and he will be in no mood to listen to the estimate what the other Doctor has given me." So you`re referring to Dr. Bhatti here, as he is the only one in the north of India whom you mentioned before, and again you`re expressing concerns about ethics here, now it can only be linked to Dr. Bhatti. Why in the world would he give you "a higher estimate" and will not be in the "mood to listen to the estimate what the other Doctor has given" you??? "because his rates are so low"!! I won`t comment on that, but if you don`t have a bit of trust in a doctor just because of his rates, why are you even considering him? I`ve later seen that you wrote "may want to get in touch with", so that`s the only post of which one could conclude that you actually didn`t get in touch with Bhatti before expressing all those worries. But after all your other statements, especially in your Bhatti-Thread, I came to the conclusion which I also expressed in my answer to you (post # 29 of your “How many more grafts..-Thread). In your answer, in which you were quoting me, with not a single word did you correct my presumptions. Please reread both. Instead, again you were writing in post # 34: "I am sure people agree here if a Doctor says you need 1000 but you want 600 then I cannot make it look more dense is ethically not correct. That raises a lot of question about that Doctors authenticity as genuinely concerned about giving the best results to his patient." So you`re telling that all of this was only hypothetical? Nobody virtually told you those "outrageously high number of hair grafts", nobody virtually did "such a drastic statment"? You were "raising" fictious "questions" about a fictious doctors fictious statements? Really? No doctor told you that you need 1000, and you were referring to a fictious doctor telling you all of that fictiously, and that`s why you`re running scared? Guys, if you have too much time, please reread all four threads Augustya has opened here for his case within days, and judge for yourselves. Ok, enough for me, you guys have fun!
  19. Augustya, could you perhaps pay a little attention to the punctuation, grammar, syntax and orthography? No offense at all, but I am not a native speaker and sometimes have difficulties to understand english anyway, but with your postings it is really very difficult and a lot of work and I always have to interpret your sentences and kind of "read between the lines". But if I understood your recent post right, you insist that Dr. Bhatti acted unethically because he said that you need about 1000 grafts when you initially wanted only 600, and he said that with 600 he will not be able to make it look more dense, and that`s unethical, or what??? Please enlighten me, I`m gonna go to bed now and will curiously look for your answer tomorrow.
