Hi All, Im guessing this question has been asked so many times, but im ready to buy one of these two or both if necessary. I was about to buy propecia from a recognized UK pharmacy, but it stated about no evidence showing that it will combat the temple areas? Which way should I go with this guys? Any feedback greatly received. Cheers PS - Currently only using Nizoral once a week, and a L'Oreal Taurine fortifying shampoo twice a week

Would 0.5 mg daily still be effective?

Do you guys take the 1 mg daily, or split it into 4 and have 0.25 mg daily? Just thinking of making the costs a bit more do able?

Thanks for your post 1978 Matt. Im just still trying to figure out what would be the best product for me. Im thinking Finpecia or one of the generic versions, but like everyone else a bit concerned of the sides. Are any of the generics safer that others? Is 1 mg a day more than enough? You wouldn't need 5 mg a day would you?! Maybe I should give the Regaine liquid a go as you have?

I am thinking of starting on finasteride. I am a norwood 2, with a 1/2 inch recession on the temple areas. Has anyone had a similar situation and managed to regrow back these areas at all? Cheers
