Advice for Hair Loss Sufferers Considering Hair Transplant Surgery

My Story

  1. Hello, friends. One of my friend had two hair transplantation operations in 2015 and 2018 by Bicer. I decided to have hair transplant because his result was amazing. As I have very less hair on my upper part, Dr. Bicer suggested two session operations, first session was for front and second one was for crown area. 4000 Graft was planned for the first session and 2500 Graft was planned for the second. . Approximately 4000 grafts were transplanted in the first operation 9 months ago. . I started seeing a great result after 6 months . I am going to share the result of my second surgery with you in the future also.

  4. Hi everyone, I am a man in my mid-20's from the USA who completed my first FUE hair transplant with Dr. Ozlem Bicer in Istanbul, Turkey a couple weeks ago. After several months of nerve wracking research to find a IAHRS surgeon operated procedure, a clinic with only 1 operation per day, and at an affordable price I only found a few clinics that met my prerequisites. I limited myself to 3 in-person consultations when I arrived in Istanbul. All 3 doctors I consulted with noted I had a weak donor area on top of a very large recipient area (NW 7). Not very good odds for me lol, but since I have already tried the bald look before and liked it I decided to roll the dice and perform an operation if I was comfortable with the surgeons plan. 2 of the 3 doctors, while very respectable and I'm sure they would do a good job, recommended large amounts of graft implants despite my weak donor area in just one session. One of the doctors also told me that this was the only surgery I would ever be able to do because my donor area was so weak. Not helping my anxiety haha.I committed to an operation with Dr. Bicer because she far and away stood out from her peers. I have never met a doctor who seemed to so genuinely want what was in the best interests of the patient by asking what my concerns were, considering how I would like my hair to look, and most of all putting forth a reasonable long term plan for success. Dr Bicer was the only doctor who took my age into consideration and noted that my non transplanted hair will most likely fall out in the future as I am still young. She was also the only doctor to recommend a long term plan by not using all of my donor area in one session so that some of it may be preserved for when more of my non-transplanted hair goes away. I can then perform another session when my hair has stopped falling out in a few years. She is very methodical and forward thinking. Now comes the fun part - SURGERY DAY. All of the medical staff were very friendly, careful not to hurt me, and always asked if I was okay. The clinic's general coordinator and English Translator, Ozen, was very helpful whenever I needed a question asked to the staff and is still very quick to respond whenever I have a question over Whats App. Dr Bicer performed the incisions, supervised the extractions, and checked in every 20-30 minutes during the implantation phase. Over the course of the 9 hour surgery, 3400 grafts were transplanted with a very small mm tool so there was very minimal scarring. I was so comfortable during the procedure I fell asleep in the operating chair three times lol.I was originally quoted 3000 grafts for $4500 USD, but Dr Bicer noted during the surgery that my donor area was stronger than first analyzed so she did not charge me for the extra 400 grafts. I was very pleased with the results at the end of the day and it definitely exceeded my expectations for what I thought possible when first going to Turkey. It’s now been almost 2 weeks since the surgery and all the scabbing is thankfully gone. Now, I’m just waiting for the dreaded shedding and long time for regrowth. Finally, thank you to all of you for making this forum great! I have been a lurker on this website and a couple others and used it extensively to find the right surgeon for me and for post-care help if you have any questions about my experience please let me know!
  5. Dear forum members, As many of you know, we gather as much information as possible about a physician, their staff, technique and track record before they are even considered for recommendation on the Hair Transplant Network. Part of our review process involves getting input from patients and the members of this forum community. To learn more about this review process, click here. We’d like to gather your input and opinions regarding the potential recommendation of Dr. Resul Yaman of Istanbul, Turkey on the Hair Transplant Network. At this time, Dr. Yaman is only being considered for recommendation, not the Coalition. To see our standards for recommendation, click here. Dr. Resul Yaman has over 6 years experience and performs hair transplant surgery exclusively at his clinic in Turkey. Dr. Yaman specializes in follicular unit extraction (FUE), eyebrow transplantation, hair transplant repair procedures, beard transplantation and scar repair. His consultations are performed directly by the physician and they're free. Dr. Yaman's FUE procedure is minimally invasive and very hands on. Dr. Resul Yaman uses a slowly rotating modified micro motor FUE device with punch sizes ranging between .7mm and .9mm. Dr. Yaman performs all the extractions and makes all of the incisions himself. His dedicated staff averaging 5 years of experience gently place follicular units into tiny recipient sites. Dr. Resul Yaman has the staff and ability to perform over 3000 follicular unit grafts via FUE and densely packs up to 50 FU/cm2 (follicular units per centimeter squared) using single haired grafts when appropriate for the patient. His procedure is done in 4 distinct phases in order to minimize the time that grafts are outside of the body. For a session of 4000 grafts for example, 1000 grafts would be harvested at a time and then implanted. This process is repeated 3 additional times. In order to reconstruct a natural looking hairline, Dr. Yaman uses single haired grafts for the first two rows of the hairline and then uses double haired and triple haired grafts further back in order to maximize the appearance of density. Dr. Resul Yaman is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and the Turkish Medical Association. Given Dr. Yaman's experience in performing state of the art hair transplant surgery and providing only the best results, in my opinion, he should be considered for recommendation. In recent weeks, Dr. Yaman has presented several examples of his procedure and recent results on this forum. Some of Dr. Yaman's Recent Patient and Surgical photos can be found below: 4600 Grafts via FUE with Dr. Yaman 4050 Grafts via FUE with Dr. Yaman 4120 Grafts via FUE with Dr. Yaman 3950 Grafts via FUE with Dr. Yaman 4220 Grafts via FUE with Dr. Yaman 4650 Grafts via FUE with Dr. Yaman 3850 Grafts via FUE with Dr. Yaman 1710 Grafts via FUE with Dr. Yaman 3200 Grafts via FUE with Dr. Yaman 2700 Grafts via FUE Scar Repair with Dr. Yaman I welcome input and comments from forum members regarding his potential recommendation. 6. My name is Barrette 41 years old. After my divorce a year ago, I was in a very bad depressed mode and I was seeking a change; my self confidence was at its lowest level at that time and I was acting like a high school geek when it comes to date women. I grew old and I know that 41 can never be 27 anymore; yet, we are in 21st century and everything now is possible and achievable (almost everything, we still can’t cure cancer nor understand how Trump made it into the White House; or even know what lies beneath the divorce of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt). Anyways, back to me now, I’ve always hated losing my hair and always trying to find a solution for that: I came across traditional treatments with some kind of herbs, some medications and injections, and hair transplant. Moreover and in regard to hair transplant, a new technique I didn’t know which has been there for a while, which is Micro FUE; and as after my divorce I can finally find time for myself, I decided to go for it. In Australia, I couldn’t find a reliable clinic or hospital that can provide that, so I consulted Uncle Google and all the search results it showed were mainly in Turkey about clinics or health centres or hospitals or sometimes just call centres play as the intermediate between the hair transplant specialist and clients. I got so confused because of the amount of results I found with no reliable third party that can give a quality assurance review on each hair transplant centre or clinic or whatever it is. I needed to read some reviews or comments, or see some results so upon which I can at least narrow my search results. I checked forums, websites and social media and I found that people are mostly talking about Adem & Havva medical centre, Dr. Serkan Aygan Clinic and Asmed medical center, so I checked them and called them. First, I wasn’t quite sure how I can decide which one to choose as all have shown good results and people were grateful; until I got to know that what distinguishes Adem and Havva is that the hair transplant specialist participates in and monitors the operations. My second concern was the travel itself to Turkey after all what we are hearing from news. With phone calling, mailing and WhatsApp’ing within two months back and forth with the marketing manager of Adem and Havva’s; thus, I made an appointment and travelled to Istanbul after I agreed upon a whole treatment package with hotel accommodation and transportation and other things such as blood tests and Plasma injections. They welcomed me at the airport and I didn’t find any problems on arrival; I was lucky that my hotel was very close to the hospital (yes it is hospital not just a place that does hair transplantation which made me more comfortable). The staff was really really warmly welcoming me –sometimes, it was a little bit too much, but to be honest it was better than not being welcomed! Mrs. Safiye (the hair transplant specialist) met me at her office and diagnosed my hair, drew some lines and wrote down the treatment plan. Then, they took a blood sample and made some tests, and prepared the PRP something injection to be injected later after finishing the operation. Afterwards, I have got my hair shaved by a nurse, been prepared for the operation, locally my back side of my head (the donor area) got numbed, and they started harvesting grafts from there. This first phase took about 2 hours and it went smoothly. Mrs. Safiye then came for phase two and started opening hair channels in my desired-to-be transplanted area (which was front head) for about one hour and a half. Lastly, the harvested hair grafts were transplanted under the monitoring of Mrs. Safiye for about 3 hours. The next day, I went back for bandage change and the day after for washing my head –they taught me how to do it as it is not as the normal washing daily way. All in all, I would say it was a positive experience and it’s been a month now; and at least I can say now that from what I am noticing on my head, they did it professionally. Now excited, can’t wiat for the final results but I am aware that it will take about 6 months at least. I will keep you posted with my progress. Thanks a lot for spending time reading about my experience.
  7. I started losing my hair when I was in my early 20’s and I hated it. Who wouldn’t? I don’t like to admit that I care about my looks. I should just shave my head and be done with it, at least for a while I have a fairly big head and I look like an alien without hair. With a receding hairline, I looked older. My right front temple was almost completely gone by the time I finished college. My self-confidence was also gone. Some would say that this is a good way to build character. Adversity make us better people. I’m already a good person. I don’t need to lose my hair to make me a better person. I decided to battle my hair loss. I spent hours every night on hair loss forums. I won’t get into all of the details of the crazy experiments I tried. Here are a few of the off-the-wall ones. Mesotherapy , Rogaine , Washing my hair with vinegar, Trying silly, expensive shampoos like Nioxin, Buying and trying a hair system, Quit exercising for fear it was increasing testosterone, Oil applications, Biotin supplements, Laser Light Therapy ($700), Doubling my Propecia dose. The list goes on but I won’t bore you. 1 year ago I decided to get a hair transplant. I probably spent over a hundred hours researching surgeons, techniques, studying results. I decided to go with Dr. Safiye Kurt. She’s based in Istanbul. I chose Dr. Kurt, because he seemed to be performing FUE (I’ll get into this), and had good results. My results were pretty good. The transplant made a huge difference in the overall appearance of my hair. I went from a receding hairline to a solid but mature hairline. I didn’t want the hairline of a 15 year old. I wanted something to match my age. However, I do have some gaps where the hair didn’t grow and I have a fairly large bald spot on the right side of my head where my surgeon probably removed too many hairs. I would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, I’m going in for a touch-up procedure in May. I’m going with Dr. Safiye Kurt as second session.
  8. I’ve always had fine hair that was silky smooth and dead straight up until around the age of 20s when my hairline and temples decided going to mature back further than normal. This combined with my huge forehead made my face look unframed and unbalanced. From then on my friends would joke about how I was going to go bald young, but luckily since then my hair has stayed more or less the same despite the fact that my father started losing his hair in mid-20, but on my mother’s side everyone has hair like brush , so maybe this gene is holding me in there at the ripe old age of 35. Nevertheless, I would say my hair has receded a little more over the past few years, but only very slowly, so I’ve being taking Propecia every other day for the past 7 months to prevent any others hairs making an exit. My hairline disappearance has really bothered me since my late teens having a major impact on my confidence and self-esteem. Like not being able to go swimming, take showers at the gym, wear a hat etc. Anyway, I’ve spent many years researching possible solutions for my hair loss on all the forums and endless google searches. I’ve also had some bad experiences with hair care oil companies in the Germany , but let’s not open that subject and put it down to experience, which has ultimately led me to Dr.Safiye Kurt who is the specialist I would like to perform a hair transplant to reconstruct my hairline. My procedure of 2700 grafts is scheduled for October 2014. Well the big day has finally been and gone. I had surgery on the 3rd of October. I was initially scheduled to have 2700 grafts, but after meeting with Dr.Kurt and taking the appropriate measurements and insisting on high density being one of my priorities, she said I would need 3100 to reach my goal, however, I had way above average donor density, so I ended up with 3200 grafts. The surgery itself went very smoothly by Dr.Kurt and her highly professional, well organized team. I’m actually almost 4 months now. I still had to wear it brushed forward at that point as it was still too see through to pull off any other style. I was a bit concerned I would not get a good result after watching all the fast growers over the years, however, over the past week growth and thickness has really stepped up a gear, and now I can wear it brushed the side and back slightly . I can’t stop looking at it in the mirror. Only if I’m being picky I would say it’s still lacking a bit in density if I slick it back, but I’m only at 4 months and it looks very natural. Even when I wake up in the morning it still looks good! I will upload my photos as monthly bases and can not wait to see the last result after few months
  9. Hi,to all,I chose to make hair transplantation with Adem&Havva Hair Clinic as in 12 February,2014 after a long term of searches on this subject. The reasons why I chose the them are proper price and natural hair line .The bald area on my head were large. I would think that it wasn’t possible to cover all my head. Safiye Kurt who performed my HT operation examined the picture and read the email and replied and gave me very important information about the hair transplantation process. It was informed that 3500-4000 graft were going to be implanted.I overcomed all my ambitions and worries.I would like to share all my feelings before and after the operation. I was very excited on the operation day.Safiye Kurt examined me a day before the operation. She told me that she was going to make the operation with the local anesthesia. They took blood for PRP with an injection. They didn’t demand any money for this applications.Firstly, they wanted me to sleep my facedown. She injected local anesthesia herself on scalp. The nurses and two technicians extracted the grafts one by one. They performed this with micro method .It lasted for 2,5 hours. The first stage of the operation was very hard for me,because it was very hard for me to sleep face down. They let me have meal break for fifteen minutes after the extracting of the grafts.Later on my hair line was drown in the state of sitting position. While she was transplanting on my left side, the nurses were doing it on the right side of me.While they are making the transplantation, the technicians were separating the grafts as one, two and three groups.I observed that they were working in hormony as a team. The whole transplantation operation lasted eight hours totally. I felt a bit pain on my head through the end of the operation. After the operation had finished ,I stayed at the hotel.I had some anxiety that I was going to have some pain after the operation had finished.I got the tablets that they had given me after the operation .It made me sleep well and felt no anxiety. I couldn’t sleep well at the first night, because I was worried a little bit.It was because of that I was going to touch my had the pillow or some other place while I was sleeping.Next day, bandage removed and dressing done ,which was performed by the nurses. Safiye Kurt advised me the tablets that I was going to get after the transplantation. .The cost of the hotel for three days was included in the hair transplantation price, too.I went to check up three days later the transplantation. Third day I went again to hospital and I washed my hair by nurses and she showed me how I will wash my hair next ten days .There was almost no crust on my head.I had slight pain and itches on the donor area on my head after ten days. She had mentioned that shocked hair loss was going to occur after twenty days, but I hadn’t experienced much loss. She told me that my hair was going to grow four months later the transplantation operation. He also informed me that I had to wait to see the growth of hair throuh the end of a year after the hair transplantation. And now its 5 months already I am very happy with the result I have except crown area, anyway she told me that crown area will take one year to complete process. I want the people who have made hair transplantation share with me the transplantation process for 6 months periods.I am going to share my monthly pictures and results under this topic.
  10. 9 months ago I had FUE session with hair transplant specialist Safiye Kurt in Turkey and thought i'd share my experience seeing as my decision to do FUE with Safiye Kurt was driven by the education i found some forums. First of all i'd like to thank everyone who provides their experience it really helped me to make a more informed decision and get as much info about FUE as possible. Im not going to go to much into detail about Safiye Kurt all I can say is i'm really happy that chose her and she and her team really looked after me and made me feel welcome and that i think he is an excellent FUE practitioner and they work well together as a team. They also fed me throughout the day and made sure I had everything I needed. I have had a receding hairline for a long time now and it really was effecting my confidence so after researching for 6+ months I decided that FUE was the way I was going to go. I also have had many years of trying different medications, laser gimmicks, and herbal treatments with no luck. On the first day they picked me up from the hotel and took me to hospital where she does the procedure. She drew my hairline first and gave me two options to choose from which i thought was good. Then a nurse shaved my head and we started the procedure. The procedure was over 7 hours and i ended up getting 2430 grafts. Im not sure what the ratio of single/double/triple were however he told me that I have very thin hair (but very dense on the sides and back) so i expect there weren't many triples, more likely doubles and singles. Within 7 hours we were broken up into 2 parts. Extraction and implantation. Extraction went for a few hours and implantation too up all of afternoons. She did all the extractions and she and other nurses worked together on the implantation. Sometimes they swapped while one had a break. For me the procedure was not a nice experience (i assume its the same for everyone?). There were many times throughout the procedure where i questioned my reasoning for doing it. But when it got to the end of day seeing my hairline (or potential hairline) made all the pain worthwhile (providing i get a good result!). The extraction was actually the better part for me, although it is uncomfortable lying on the operation bed for that long with the anesthetic i did not feel much pain. The implantation however was a different story... For me it was very painful, even with anesthetic. Im not sure if it was because on the front part of the scalp maybe the anesthetic didn't take to well in some parts? Im not sure. Even where the anesthetic was working you can also feel the slits being made and someone cutting into your scalp is not a nice experience. Its a strange feeling because it feels a lot worse than it looked once i saw the final result. It felt like he was cutting 1cm wide cuts in my scalp but when i looked it wasn't bad at all. I'm not sure if the feelings are magnified because its the front of the scalp or what but it wasn't nice and it was the longest part of the procedure.Anyway, by the end of day I was very happy it was over. Like i am very happy with the results.
  11. I completed 1500 Non-shaving FUE procedure with Safiye Kurt / Adem&Havva Hair Transplantation Center / Istanbul first week of January 2014. I am very pleased with the progress since I have done my procedure without shaving and noticing by outsider. I might be scheduling a second procedure after six month for an additional 1500 grafts, because with non shaving method max 1500 graft transplanted. I am so curios to know if anyone else have done non shave FUE method procedure to see how is the result. I attached some pictures but still its very early and I will upload other pictures after shock- hair loos.
  12. Hi folks. I have been waiting for about a year and a half to post this article. I have been snooping around the form for quite some time but did not want to post until I had a fully documented case that is worthy for all to see. So I do hope that this post will help in anyway those of you considering hair restoration and I would like to thank the good people that made this environment possible for us to utilize. First off I am a Hair Loss Sufferer then I am an avid supporter of Dr. Erkan Demirsoy and yes I am also a non-physician treatment provider as I am an authorized agency for Dr. Erkan Demirsoy. When you read my full experience I believe you will understand why I became a hair transplant agency. Topic: Erkan Demirsoy – 4850 Grafts – FUE Technique, Micro motor 0.7mm So Here Goes: I started loosing my hair in my early 20's. I knew the day would come as my father was loosing his hair also. I knew the genetics would be a major factor. My hair started falling but I never thought of Hair transplantation as a solution. I used products for my hair and scalp to slow down the process and it helped, Rogaine was a major helper. In 2010 I started working for Dr. Erkan Demirsoy at Armamed Hair Transplant Clinic as the Head of IT. Every day I saw patients with slimming hair lines entering the clinic and having their procedure then leaving. Still at that point not once did I think of hair transplant as a solution. At one point I realized that patients where asking if I was going to have hair surgery, my reply was "no I do not think so". One day Dr. Demirsoy and the nursing staff asked me if I wanted hair transplant surgery and I politely asked him to explain to me the steps, the pros and cons of the procedure and finally concluded that I would make up my mind and get back to him. I started doing research on Hair Transplant and the FUE technique; there were many resources available on the net. I finally made up my mind that I would do the hair transplant and I would definitely trust Dr. Demirsoy for the procedure. Our Pre-Conversations: Since at the time I was working in the clinic I pretty much had access to the doctor at all times. So about the consultations I am not going to be able to post much. But at the time I was 31 years old, a heavy smoker, no health problems, doesn’t drink alcohol and using Rogaine as a supplement. I really don’t want to go into the clinic and the staff much because what I write is going to be bias and I want this article to be about my hair restoration only. As I was an IT professional I did not know much about the process and had a preconception that a patient would have 4000 grafts of donor area and that was all. At the time I was thinking that my hair was going to continue to fall as time goes by and I only had one shot at this. Dr. Demirsoy explained to me that this was wrong information and that the amount of donor grafts that any patient has varies from person to person. When he examined my donor area he concluded that I would very easily be able to have 4000+ grafts done and that I had enough donor for a second operation if I ever needed one in the future. So he designed a solution that benefits me in the long run. Dr. Demirsoy would transplant 4000+ grafts in a wide area so that as my hair continued to fade I would not go bald per say, my hair would only thin as the transplanted grafts would continue to grow in their locations. This sounded very pleasing and gave me a moral boost to go on with my hair transplant. We set a date for the transplant. The Surgery: The day of my surgery I went into the clinic not as an employee but as a patient for the first time. One thing that stuck in my mind was that nobody in the clinic treated me as a fellow employee but they treated me as a patient, I had no more or no less amenities than any other patient that Dr. Demirsoy treats. April 25 2012 – My first day of surgery: Dr. Demirsoy welcomed me into his office and we had some small talk, probably to ease me. Before my head was shaven Dr. Demirsoy started outlining my general hairline while explaining to me what he was doing. After this step all hair was gone Ha-ha (I was laughing then and there because I was very nervous). After my shave Dr. Demirsoy continued to draw his full map onto my scalp, this included the outline and lines that showed how my hair should grow thus resulting in the pattern and the angle that the grafts should be transplanted. And the first needle, yes folks I did feel that and it was annoying. The first day of my surgery resulted in 2400 grafts from my right side donor area transplanted to my crown. April 26 2012 – My second day of surgery: I really did not want to continue the operation because it’s a very time consuming process that results in boredom and stress, thanks to the nurses (they chatted with me the whole time so that my mind would not autofocus on the surgery and get stressed) I was again relieved of my stress and the second day of surgery began. This session of surgery resulted in 2450 grafts from my left side donor area transplanted in a wide spectrum top vertex and front area. For both days Dr. Demirsoy and his accompanying nurses spent about 3-3.5 hours harvesting my grafts from the donor areas. Dr. Demirsoy using his instruments harvested the grafts and laid them on my scalp, one nurse would pick each graft up and lay them in the petri dish and the other nurse was keeping the area that the doctor was working on clean. After the harvest we all took a smoke break for about 15 minutes then had lunch for about an hour then back to surgery. I was given another shot again from a nurse about 10 minutes later Dr. Demirsoy entered the room and started opening the canals for the grafts to be placed in. One nurse was counting and grouping the harvested grafts based on how many hair follicles each graft had and the other nurse was keeping the doctors work area clean. This step took about 2 hours to complete and finally transplanting the grafts into the canals. Before the final step we all took a smoke break again for about 15 minutes. Finally the transplant started and this process took about 4 hours to complete and my surgery was over. My donor area was immediately bandaged and covered once my surgery was over. After the Surgery: Right after the surgery Dr. Demirsoy gave me a briefing on what all had happened in surgery. The number of grafts, the strength of my donor area and general care of my scalp for the next critical first 3 days. For the next 6 days I had my wash done in the clinic, as it was accessible to me. Dr. Demirsoy mandates a checkup and first wash to all his patients but prefers to do the wash for 5 days if possible. By day 6 all the scabs on my scalp was gone. My first 2 nights out of surgery was very pleasant with no apparent discomfort, I was wearing my headband so the swelling would not drop down to my face. The 3rd, 4th and 5th days I had random itching on my scalp that I was able to get rid of with just lightly placing my hand on top of my scalp. I made a mistake by taking my headband off on the 3rd day because it was annoying me more than I could take and the swelling dropped down to my eyes. It was not so bad but I would have been better off keeping the band on for a week. With all said and done I am very pleased with the results of my surgery and the way that it has affected my life. The boost that I gained from this whole experience is just simple priceless. Having gone thru this process, knowing Dr. Demirsoy personally for a long time and working for him I decided to form my own agency. Before the surgery: Post-op: Post-op 11 days: Post-op 120 days: Post-op 15 months: I have posted a couple of pictures here on this post but the full pictorial of 80+ pictures is on my personal article here. If any of you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask so that I can share more details that I may have forgotten to add here. Thanks again for taking the time to read my post cheers!

  14. Good morning everybody After suffering with hair loss for 5 years I tried all kind of cure and medicine unfortunately couldn't stop hair loss. At first I was always kept my self away from hair transplantation because scared all kind of surgery. After a while I started to searching in internet about that hair transplantation treatment, surgery, side effects etc. Surprisingly my every search Turkey was coming as an result of hair transplantation surgery. It took me approx. 3 -4 months to convince myself for this treatment even-though watching all videos, forums, comments etc. Than I have decided to contact one of hair transplantation clinic in Turkey. Unfortunately I faced language problem even after trying other hair transplantation centers as well.It looks like nobody knows English in this country. However after a long and hard try I found one of clinics who has English speaker representative too, and asked all question I had in my mind he satisfied me with all his answer. When I asked them price he couldn't gave me exact price and confused me with all inclusive /exclusive, per grave based pricing tariff. When I asked him if you do fue method of hair transplantation how do I know you used 1500 graft even I paid 3000 graft price according your consultation. Which was doubling the cost. Anyway, we have decided with fixed price with hotel, transfers, hair transplantation, before and after medicine etc. Price was 5000 USD which sound me reasonable. Than we made all arrangement and after 2 weeks I went to Istanbul. My first disappointment was waiting almost one hour at the airport to someone come and pick me up. I called few times every time he was lying and saying driver is on the way. Than driver picked me after one hour, first day I will be take rest for few hours and I will go to their clinic for consultation and next day he will execute the operation. I was expecting they will be accommodate me in a hotel which what we deal, but they took me furnished guest house. It was second disappointment. With noisy neighbors, tiny bed, and self service I tried to ask driver but he didnt understand me anyway. I contact again with their representative to fix it,he told me the hotel fully booked which they have agreement, its only today I will be staying their guest hose and next they they will shift me the hotel. Next day driver came and took me to their office in city center. After consultation and a lot of apologizes first they moved me hotel and then they made blood tests, and prepared me for tomorrow. My second day was waiting that big day for me it was my third disappointment, the hair transplantation operation will be in their office room with they convert as an operation room. Of course I refused to have an operation in a room which I already had phobia about surgery. They tried to convince me by showing another patient in another room having hair transplantation operation. I was freak out and refused operation but he threatened me with not paying my back my money. I told him I will call police and complain to health authorization as well. Than they scared and paid my money back after reducing hotel, transfer charges etc. I was regretted made that decision to hair transplant. After leaving from their office I moved another hotel name is Anthill Fraser Hotel. While I was waiting for check-in I saw a few of Arabs was there too with bandage on their had. And I asked them what happened because I never saw before hair transplant. I was so happy to see them and we talked about their operation and asked them a lot of question adn talked about my experience and asked them where they did operation. He told me in same tower Anthill, Adam&Havva, Madam Safiye. Actually I heard their name when I was searching on internet but unluckily I didn't contact them. Anyway after my check in I went their office and met Madam Safiye. She has given me another consultation as well with fixed price. And the way she was talking it was just inspiring confidence even though we are communicating with translator. Of course my first question was where are you going to do operation, and they told me surely it will be fully equipped hospital. And I told them my experience with another hair transplantation center. Than one of their staff took me to show hospital. The hospital itself made me feel better. And I took appointment after two days after insisting to work in to do hair transplantation. At the day of operation we went to hospital with her and her team to hospital. With all arrangement and lovely translator it took almost 5 hours. After operation she has given me all direction to how to be aware or take care of my self and my hair. Next day I went the hospital again for removing bandages, and she has done PRP , given shampoos, medicine, lotions etc. After my third day I traveled back Dubai. They kept call and asked me how I am and if I have any problem and so. I was so glad to meet her even accidentally and very successful operation and very happy with my new hairs and style with even half price if I compare with my first contacted unprofessional hair transplantation center.
