  1. Thank you TMAN and hope you heal well. Anything needed don't hesitate to ask.
  2. This is normal and not a lot of hairs at all to shed so don't be overly concerned and relax and you should have some growth come in soon this month onwards. All he best.
  3. All the best TMAN and glad Carmen is looking after you well in your build up. Nerves are normal and anything you need please let Carmen know and email me if I can help in anything.
  4. Hi needmoarhair, he has medium fine so would be 50 to 60 Microns for his hair type.
  5. Yes would agree with the above statement. This is a good case where a combination of both techniques can be used to maximise the donor and to good effect also as the Strip left the donor good for FUE work for other areas. Be good to see an update and hope all is going well for the patient.
  6. Thank you, we will try to get updates to 12 months and yes very good growth post 5 months and the hair also noticeably relaxed more and blended and this will continue.
  7. Well the positive is for the crown no facial swelling so makes it easier for returning without signs. All the best and let us know how it goes. You may want to take a travel pillow also to sleep with and use for the home journey and a button up shirt to avoid putting on and off t-shirts etc. Travel as lightly as possible and try to have a seat that gives most protection so avoid isle if possible and I preferred window seats also so nothing falling down on me on flight home also. Paranoid I know but I limited risks as much as I could and protected my investment as much as possible and sure it will all be okay. Garageland has had many ops and flights and long ones also so is real veteran. Enjoy the experience as much as you can and keep us posted and remember nerves are normal.
  8. Yes we have had a fair amount of this from several countries and clinics and some really tried to tell us it was their patient being shown and they are really upset even by the allegation and how totally impossible it is for them to use one of ours. Eventually they come back and always "Web Master Error" is the final email but it is fun pretending that the patient had the same surgery, pre-op clothes, bleeding post op, background as us. The funniest I noticed was a female patient we had they even said was a man when went to them. As said it can be a full time job and I have noticed some H+W ones over the years and even asked the clinic showing the result to let me know about a H+W patient who was very well known. Was funny to hear how happy he was and where he lived and I asked if he is willing to meet up but always goes quiet then.
  9. You can walk out, wear a bandana and don't take any sun directly to the transplanted area and avoid banging your head, I know that is an obvious statement but just give plenty of room to people and be aware of possible bangs on public transport etc if taking. Keep well hydrated also and especially if hot as it probably will be and try to enjoy your experience. Your clinic will no doubt give you a post op presentation and documentation and do's and don'ts in terms of medication to take, spraying saline to the recipient etc. All the best for it and let us know how it goes. Happy to send you what we recommend to patients but of course you would need to run it by your own clinic also for their approval.

  11. I personally like the improvement here and the hair is far fuller in the front and better quality now so his styling options are there again and good hair to graft breakdown helped him.
  12. Hi Mikeey Was on Propecia and Minoxidil originally but continued with Propecia only.
  13. Thank you for the comments and rightly said the approach was conservative yet made a huge change for the patient. I met him when overseas and he looked great in person and was very happy at 10 months.
  14. Patient in his late 40s wanted to have a conservative approach to his hair line design and then blend back into the frontal third as required. Updated as 6,7 and 10 Months and photos provided by the patient. Graft breakdown was as follows:- 1s 445 2s 1251 3s 1116 4s 400 Total FU:- 3212 Pre-op Placement 6 months 7 Months Hair line close up Strip at 7 Months Comparisons 10 Month update
  15. Thanks for updating grigriman and looking forwards to addressing the crown for you.
  16. Minoxidil is okay after 2 weeks on the recipient and monitor for redness as you do use it and foam is usually well tolerated. The scar will be red for a while and especially as internal sutures dissolve but can apply around the scar area and again monitor for irritation there. As long as sutures all out then should start to heal well from here on.
  17. Yes using a different colour suture helps removal and you can apply bio oil or similar to the scar to aid healing and put on gently but left to right or right to left across the scar. Self dosing and changing from 1mg daily to 3x weeky is something that many do with no issues do but ideally see your GP if having sides effects and see what they recommend for you and there are doctors who prefer this approach for their patients and for some the balance works in that sides diminish and they have hair benefits but there is no one size fits all approach with this as people's sensitivities and tolerances are different.
  18. Yes this can happen, I have met patients from this forum who look fine in person and red on photos so does happen and hope sutures came out okay.
  19. Thank you PIP for your kind words. You forgot to say "good looking" also, but I put that down to writer's cramp! No seriously, it was my pleasure to meet you and your manner of doing things, calm, smiling and was also for me a very good sign to me of how you handled loss. I am very happy that I wasn't sales orientated in my approach and I think all of us put our personalities into our work and this is my disposition in how I do business and always will be. What counts is knowledge and customer service and fundamentally belief in the product that we offer and as said my own result spoke for me. All the best and I will be in touch and anything needed give me a bell.
  20. Yes, would echo that, very nice result so far.
