  1. Yea, pretty much the same Nizoral prescription strenght might be better for you if its a severe case. Rogaine Finasteride Avodart The regulars..........
  2. I had a consult with Dr Konior..he is top notch! Class act and very caring guy..he answered so many of my questions via email I felt like I knew him s a friend!
  3. Mick If you are looking for hairline work then you really need to consider Dr Rahal...I think he is generally considered the best with hairlines..I am like you, I had a lot of consults, ALL with coalition Drs, dont ever waste your time with another doctor thats not recomended on this site! Anyway, after about seven consults I decided to go wih Dr Rahal! I will be having surgery in January 2012. I live in Arkansas so as you can see I didnt let travel affect my decision, as well as you shouldnt. Continue to do your research, when you find the right doctor you will know! Good Luck on your journey! Oh yea...FUE VS FUT?? thats a tough one..in my case its easy..FUT..I think the graft survival rate and growth are much better..also, its a lot cheaper than FUE..
  4. The only question I can answer is I know the earlier you start, the better off your gonna be!! It may get worse for a few weeks, if you shed, but given the state you say your hair is in I highly doubt if it will make it worse! Thats my 2 cents
  5. Yes, that's what I was speaking of, from a density stand point. I'm not the least bit worried about my surgery. I feel like I chose the best surgeon in Dr Rahal!
  6. Does salt and pepper hair help conceal a transplant? I know if a transplant is done right it's not gonna be noticable anyway, but just wondering if the contrast in hair color would really help?
  7. Yea, sound like you might be about to waste a lot of money! Be cautious!
  8. Man that's great! Rogaine only? Throw in some finasteride and you might be off the chart crazy good!
  9. So it is okay to use a concealer when the sutures or staples are out? That's my biggest fear, not the shave, not the transplant, not the recovery, it's the dreaded shockloss!
  10. I think that may be a common mistake among users, that is to stop using your meds. I know that was my case. I believe had I stayed on the meds I would be looking at 2000 grafts as opposed to 4000! Give Rogaine and finasteride a full year before you consider a transplant. Especially at you age! I think you will see a difference with meds!
  11. Just found 3 7oz bottles at Walgreens. I almost bought all of them as I have since seen on eBay(FWIW) that it's only gonna be available by prescription.
  12. Just paid 39 dollars for a 4oz bottle on eBay. Shoddy!
  13. Man I think you've come a long way! Looks good to me!
  14. Looks great...I consulted with Dr Aroach but decided on going with Dr Rahal. I didnt want to shave either, but in the end Im gonna wind up with about 60 days off work so it turned out not to be to big of a deal! Good Luck!
  15. When is the production expected to pick up?
  16. Ill be there in January 2012 myself. Booked for January 19th!
  17. I think that looks good, however, I wonder if that result is the norm?
  18. Excellent advice given. Get him on the meds and stay on them. When I was 21 I thought the meds were all hype! Boy was I wrong! Start with meds at least for a year and then reevaluate the situation.
