  1. I think your hair looks great! I would stay on the finasteride and try to wait a little longer. When you turn 30'or so and if it still bothers you, maybe have something done then. I'll bet if you wait for a while, you'll wind up not having anything done because your hair looks great! Definitely don't jump into anything!
  2. I believe even without pictures your probably somewhere around 60-70 percent at 6.5 months.
  3. David I knew he was NOT kicked out. Your earlier post was clear on that! I guess my post wasn't clear. I just meant in general if a surgeon was removed. I guess if a surgeon was removed it would be a HOT topic though! Thanks!
  4. I think most doctors on this site would take time to answer a question like this.
  5. Not sure, that a little over my head! Maybe we can get a doctor to help us out.
  6. I think trichopytic is the norm for most doctors now. I think there is also something called " double trichophytic " that is even more impressive! When a doctor does FUE into the donor scar, my opinion, is it's the only procedure being done. By that I mean that's all the patient went in for, was to make the donor scar look better. So instead of trycophytic closure, the doctor will just FUE into the scar. Again, that is my opinion and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
  7. Yes, don't let location determine your surgeon! I'm traveling 1500 miles to Canada in January!
  8. Hey David When a doctor is " kicked out " of the coalition, why not start a thread about it? I think I remember Bill stating if a doctor wasn't following coalition rules they would be removed so fast you wouldn't even notice it. Well, I think it would help to know, especially if someone was scheduled with the doctor. I don't know if that happens very often, but just wondering.
  9. Dr Siporin Were the 1800 grafts your decision or the patients decision? Just wondering because he's planning on coming back so I'm just wondering why not go with a megasession from the start?
  10. I'll second this, however, it is entirely possible there are some great surgeons out there that are yet to be discovered. At one time, some of the great ones on this site, weren't on this site!
  11. Yeah go with who you are comfortable with. Dr Wong is an excellent surgeon though, just may not be right for you. SMG is top notch!
  12. Let me know how the foxbar is, I'm staying there for 8 nights in January.
  13. Gotcha! Thanks for clearing that up!
  14. That makes a lot of sense, I have a question though?? In your earlier post you stated that shockloss could be a result of your native hair being cut during the procedure? I fought that cutting the follicle would result in permanent shockloss ?
  15. Funny you never noticed any shedding but I wouldn't worry too much. I'm sure it normal.
  16. Hairthere Ive been waiting patiently on your updated pictures. Glad to hear things are starting to pick up for you!
  17. Yea its crazy what you get with hairloss..I started taking MSM and noticed, or thought that I noticed an increase in shedding, so I stopped!!
  18. Atlanta I know its hard...keep taking your pics and keep updated, but try not to worry about it everyday..you should have a great result!
  19. I take 2.5 mg a day, just easier to cut in half instead of quarters...No sides...been taking for 9 months
  20. There is a chance you would shed more....I think Im right when I say this...not only the hair that you gained, but also the hair you would have lost while on finasteride will shed...good news is if your 3 months in and have no sides, you will prob be fine!
  21. Good point Bill, I know you guys cant be here 24 hours a day. I think you guys do a great job, from what Ive seen, in trying to resolve patient and doctor issues! After all, I doubt if you have quite the same payroll as GOOGLE!
