  1. I agree - however, I also feel like my 2nd is coming in slower, albeit a FUE session of smaller size. Perhaps it has to do with the pre-existing trauma to the site from the first HT (speculation). I look at it as so much more to go rather than a delay!
  2. I see a nice transformation coming your way, best of luck!
  3. Well then, you were correct - he is a magician, like no other! Congrats on your wise choice, I am sure you will get the best result in the world - while others, maybe not!
  4. This is certainly a possibility and should be recommended by all docs!
  5. What is your hypothesized mechanism? I realize your a potential Rahal patient -thus I understand your bias, however what you are stating is not generalizable just because you noted a few patients here have early growth - we do not know about those who had lagged or normal growth that do not post here. Good growth to you either way.
  6. Why? is there new evidence it is efficacious?
  7. Best case scenerio - you will be a responder, otherwise your better off saving your $ for a FUE session IMO.
  8. Hi Abby, Looking good my friend - keep up the good growth. I seem to have one every 2-3 years - which I agree is noticable and frustrating. I think it is because we are only creating the illusion of density, thus - a significant shed can really change the look of our hair. With that said, your new density will be excellent and will likely be less noticable during these periods. Best!
  9. Very nice improvement - give it about another 5 months before you make further decisions. My guess, you will get hair greed like the rest of us!
  10. Sorry guys, it was proposed as a SLAM on Pelosi et al. by a Repub for all their alledged cosmetic work...lol. He knows it will never get passed.
  11. You wrote above "...so all the evidence shows that there is something to this "PRP's short time hair boost" thing, unless it's all "pictorial illusion" and we all know how pics sometimes don't tell the whole story. but nonetheless i see/hear improvements coming from many sources." How is this evidence? a few pictures on the internet - also if you read the literature on PRP for hairloss, it is all NON Peer reviewed literature (conference papers, etc). I am hopeful - but unlike many others, my standard of evidence is going to be much higher before I pay one cent. not sure what you mean by this.
  12. Glad your researching. 4000-5000 grafts, bare minimum - don't under estimate the downtime of a HT, it sucks and is a long and psychologically draining process. Best of luck and you will fullfill your objecives I am sure.
  13. That is by no means evidence...esp, when it comes to hair loss treatments.
  14. I'd love to hear how an existing hair get's larger in diameter in just 2-4 weeks from the inside out. Someone educate me further thanks.
  15. Buhler? Buhler? wonder what happened to the amazing two week growth pictures? I was so excited too!
  16. Abby, sounds interesting - what brand and do you do the hair only or the scalp also? Thanks!
  17. You hairloss is dynamic ALWAYS - some emerge some fall out. Search haircycle.
  18. Get a hair wax, I like a water-based one.
  19. This manuscript may provide some useful ideas, especially in terms of design and measurement. Also, some good preliminary data perhaps to help you with sample size estimates and expected effect estimates. 20. Probably more efficacious than half the hair stuff I have bought in the past 25 years...
  21. "In God We Trust, All Others Must Bring Data" I use to keep that on my office door when I worked in drug development.
