  1. I just posted in another thread to MMHCE my response. http://hair-restoration-info.c...=239101904#239101904
  2. Mmhce, There is fairly well documented evidence of synchronicity of hair cycles due to a wide range of exposures (e.g., minoxidil, excessive elongation of the anagen cycle, pregnancy, etc.). All of these, and others, are posible mechanisms for hairs simultaneoulsy entering a telegen phase, thus one would appear to experience a result simular to what would appear to be telogen effluvium. That is my opinon.
  3. You mean IRB, like others should do with their "hair loss" subjects?
  4. I'd like to see that addressed too, I have seen some scars that were IMO very high up near the crown by some top clinics. That makes me nervous.
  5. Why do you think transplanted hairs don't fall out? Do you think every hair on the back of your head is dht resistant?
  6. With hair as thick as yours - subtle changes is the way it goes; Wow results are typical of those who have nothing to begin with...thus, the illusion.
  7. First off, don't give up - for some, especially those who have had hairloss for a longer time, the result tends to come in more slowly. This happened to me the first time. In SOME cases, the wait 12-18 months is very true. With that said, get on the Big 3 ASAP IMO!
  8. Has to be a syncronized telogen shed...I think it happened to me last year as well. SUCKS.
  9. How come when I read this thread I just want to scream "Carfax please"? Do you think clinics (or reps) would argue that prices should be cheaper? Let the market work, bottom line - it is supply and demand, like every other commodity or service...that is the way it works.
  10. Was it the same sweater, shirt or tan that gave it away?
  11. Yup, shockloss is my biggest fear for #3. Best of luck Freakin - I'm sure the good doc will take care of you; stay positive, it will work out.
  12. Nahhh, I'm only at 6 months and last time, the same thing happened (slow grower - thick coarse hair). It was like night and day my results from 8 months to 18 months... Have faith, I do. Hair hope, you've been feeling them for months, but still don't see them? I, sadly, think that what your feeling is other hair pulled down--that sometimes feels like stubbles. If you felt stubbles a few months ago, that hair would surely have been visable by now.
  13. There is more than one way to skin a cat - so to speak! I think the manual one or similar was used during my FUE.
  14. k, then go pay for some of these treatments and tell us how it goes... equating penicillin and hair transplant treatments is hilarious! Wow.
  15. John - I am also on my second, although the cosmetic effect has been slow, I have felt stubs of hair for months now. Are you saying you can't feel these across the area of the transplant?
  16. I have to add PRP to your request also regarding US medical or (BMJ, etc) peer-reviewed journal articles...(PS, no trade rags).
  17. Thanks TTP, someday I will follow your advice!!!good growing to you.
  18. Oh, and keep working those biceps and tri's - that will help considerably!!!
  19. Dude, keep it tight and shaved like you have it, looks great and the down time, money and probability of a full restoration on a high NW is not that great. You look perfectly fine and fortunately that look is what chicks dig in these days!
  20. I am curious also - I will be more specific and say that the hairs on my comb are the strongest hairs I have seen in years - are these the type of hairs that definitely grow back? Thanks to Abby for helping me obsess!!
