  1. Think of it this way, is a few months worth not compromising your first HT?
  2. In my opinion, all this would not be a topic of discussion if it wasn't such a crappy job (IE GAP). Would we be debating this if you got half a heart or liver transplant, we pay for a hair transplant that stands on its own - not a second visit. MY OPINION.
  3. You text is irrelevant, it was for a completely different class of drug. Propecia=Proscar/5...
  4. The best data available. http://www.anagen.net/glaxo7.htm
  5. I have been too embarassed to go to a barber/stylist for about 10 years...looking forward to someday breaking thru that.
  6. Will it get rid of the hair in my outer ear also, you should call it the "Miracle Diet"!
  7. Meds/Rogaine only - to early for you to go down the path of a HT. Enjoy the hair you have and the time you have with it. A HT will take almost a year to feel "right" - fagetaboutit.
  8. You don't need a hat based on what I see, esp since originally I thought you were like 20 or something - you hair looks fine (no one is perfect).
  9. Excellent information Dr. Konior, very interesting.
  10. Just as a few patients saying it is great (mostly undocumented), we must be fair and keep an open mind since the subjects for which reported it failed - are again only case studies... Personally, I wouldn't spend a penny until someone presented a peer-reviewed, well conducted study, in an indexed journal. But that is just my opinion.
  11. I think it looks excellent for a first pass, generally - it is almost impossible to have full density in one pass due to placement reference, one more pass and you will be good to go. I think you look natural. Best of luck.
  12. Looks awesome, should silence some of the FUE detractors, congrats!
  13. PRP works? do you have any data on that -it would be great.
  14. Focus on your body, get in great shape and keep working on the hair over time...that worked for me. You can control your muscle development more easily and chicks dig that too!@
  15. I think your my long lost brother! since we both worry about as much about each hair we lose...I bet it is just part of the normal cycle, have faith in your recent hair transplants...
  16. Can't see anything to give advice.
  17. Based on my experience in clinical research / drug development - be wary of the "touted" efficacy of any treatment that shows an effect only on a "subgroup" of patients - THIS IS MY OPINION!
  18. It will over time - I think what you are experiencing is similar to what I had happen with the frontal 1/3rd hair after the trauma due to the surgery. You will take a step backwards, but two steps forward by the end! Best of luck.
  19. I was discussing the minimum, not the maximum and I stand on my statement that 600 Fue is a waste of time, have you had FUE? HairHope, I don't really want to sound negative but how did you end up having such a firm suggestion? You have no knowledge of how bald he is, his history, his age. What if this guy is in his early 20s with a SLIGHTLY receding hair line and 800 grafts should be enough to thicken it up. Or what if he is NW4-5 and even 1200 will not be enough. Not saying you are wrong, just saying there are many factors you didn't account for.
