  1. Feel free, I think the best one can do thru a photo is low, med, or high density to minmize misclassification. In contrast to Zup's comment, density is also the diameter of the hair, not just count.
  2. IMO, if you rub your hands thru the back of your head and it feels thick with lots of resistance, you have good density...compare that to your front where it is thin (the feel test) and you will know. My bet is that you do have good density based on what you described (thick and coarse).
  3. Looks great, thanks for the encouraging pictures - I left a blog comment.
  4. Nice results for only 4 months, looking forward to your 5 month update - I bet it will be great.
  5. are you breathing and have a wallet with money in it? sorry, couldn't help myself
  6. I also agree - a well managed FUE session of 1000 will have similar results as a 1000 strip. My evidence is as good as those who suggest otherwise since they always compare the yield of very high FUE sessions with strip. 1000 FUE was a breeze and I would do them monthly if I could! I agree with this statement "LARGE Fue Sessions" like B-Spot has also stated "I think once you start talking about doing 2-3-4-5K of FUE per day, the yield/transection rate is logically going to go up"can lead to more transections But from what I have seen and depending on Doctor clinic on how long they been doing this procedure you can get several thousand in a weeks time. I am not a supporter of the one day Fue meggasession.
  7. Dear Dr. Lindsey, You daughter Julia will be in my prayers, as will your entire family. Regards.
  8. Hi LatinLotus, You are coming along nicely - and kind to document your progress. I think you may understand now, why it is so hard for some of us who been thru this before to keep such good documentation of our HT. It is a long slow process with continous change. I would say views at 6 month intervals is a better estimator of progress. You will do just fine, best wishes.
  9. I bought some pure tea tree oil and put a few drops in my palm, each time I shampoo or condition. Best of luck.
  10. In my case, initially - I did a reasonable amount of reading and research on this forum and others before I got my first HT (strip). You would think this makes it easier for a second HT, however - I waited another 4 years due to "cold feet". At that time, although there are some unknowns with FUE, personally I didn't want to go thru the long recovery of a strip surgery again. If you are unsure, in my opinion, go FUE - to some degree, there is some going back with this approach. My 3 cents.
  11. That is my opinion also (safe and clean handling).
  12. Please re-read what I wrote, our point of discussion was whether or not this is regulated, my opinion was YES. Also, I wrote " I made no judgement, however I believe you should understand the potential adverse reactions associated with autologous blood transfusion. That is all, best of luck." simple enough.
  13. I made no judgement, however I believe you should understand the potential adverse reactions associated with autologous blood transfusion. That is all, best of luck.
  14. With all do respect, you have no idea what you are talking about. All clinical research needs review both by the FDA and associated IRBs.
  15. If the above is the case, would it need to be FDA approved? Yes of course (The Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) is one Center within the Food and Drug Administration, an Agency within the United States Government's Department of Health and Human Services.) The original statement made me LOL. "all they are doing is injecting your own blood"...
  16. I fully agree, many HT treatments, devices (including implant), and techniques have not faced traditional Phase (I/II/III) trials, thus - I would say that at best any evidence of safety and efficacy are anectdotal, in my opinion. Keep this in mind when speaking definitively about ANYTHING you read. You talk like it is a proven method. Until, it is proven to work, PRP is just hype/experimental/snake oil.
  17. Looking good! I will bet you that 10 months from now, your going to be shocked at how different your hair looks - best of luck.
  18. I had my second HT on Feb. 19th, so you are two days ahead of me. I'm starting to feel some nubs come up where they were transplanted. Now the fun begins! Best of luck.
  19. Read this (to the end), best discussion I have ever seen on the topic and very smart doc. http://hair-restoration-info.c...321083153#5321083153
