  1. Hi Folko, I have been on propecia for 6 months, and I can tell you the treatment is working. I notice that the loss has stopped or slowed down at least. There was a couple of times earlier on when I thought I was losing more hair and you can definitely go through some periods but like Bill said stick with it.
  2. This looks so shady, their website is not very professional. Doubt that its legit.
  3. Usually it should take 20-30 minutes.
  4. hi public, I think the propecia website said that after a year you can see if the drug is working or not, so first if you haven't experience any hair loss then the drug is working and continue to use it because if you stop then you are going to continue to thin and lose hair. Not sure if your hair will thicken though...
  5. brentipold, how are things going with your recovery? I am still on propecia and things have gotten better for me, erections are back to normal at least i think they are and I do have morning wood which in the beginning they were non-existant
  6. brentipold, Hard to say, somedays I think my body is getting use to the drug and things are going to normal and sometimes i think i might be having issues. well today will be my third week and i am going to go for another week on it and that take me to one month. I'm thinking of switching to EOD after that, but today I felt good. My erection felt strong like before propecia, so hopefully it stays that way and I am starting to get some morning wood back but its not that frequent and its not that strong. I also started to take multi-vitamins so maybe thats helping out.
  7. hi brentipold, yeah thats definitely not a site you want to visit if you are concern with your sides. give it some time i guess and like you told me just think positive and not focus on it as much.
  8. hey brentipold, are you back to normal? you said before you haven't been the same since you quit the second time around, hope all is well now.
  9. So its been over two weeks on propecia and the sides continue. Sometimes it gets better and sometimes it gets worse. This similar to your situation brentipold, it sucks but what can you do. I am still going to press through for another two weeks, my brother's GF recommends to give it a full month, if the sides don't subside or things don't get back to normal that I am going to have to face it that I am not a good candidate for propecia. Also these sides are not just in my head as people believe, for one thing I no longer have morning wood which is the first sign of ED problems, if I had morning wood then I can contribute to performance anxiety or being in my head. I hope its gets better causing losing hair sucks as well know. I also find it ironic that the one drug proven to work had to have the one side effect that guys can't live with, its like God is playing a cruel joke on bald people. Doh!
  10. no before and after pictures, patent pending, yup sounds like its going to work real good....
  11. people at my job have been making comments about my hair for the past two years when I first started to notice. However I talk openly about my hair loss admitting that I am losing it and also speaking about how I want to do something about. People even ask why don't you get a hair transplant, even though they have no idea what that entails. I am pretty open, I meaning balding is something that most men will go through, so no biggie if I am trying to slow it down.
  12. ok so latest update, the sides have started to ween off if thats possible. The ability to get hard is not as challenging as before and maintaining is not being an issue. Also the watery semen is starting to fade. maybe my body is adjusting to it, based on this i will continue taking the drug. I am thinking though of reducing the dosage since I have plenty of hair and looking to maintain, but i think i will do that after six months. I will keep posting every so often to update on sides or no sides. I think its helpful since propecia is a drug that people have so many mix reactions to it.
  13. Brentipold, Sucks to hear that you didn't have any luck. I will go for a couple of more weeks and see what happens, luckily my brothers gf is doctor and she is helping me with monitoring my problem. She recommends another week or two on and if I still have problems she says definitely get off the drugs. Hopefully things subside, if they don't bye bye hair, doh!
  14. XXY, So when you quit the drug did you go back to normal? And how long did it take? As to clarify I can still get erect and perform just I don't have that urge to where before I was always ready to go. I think for right now I am going to stick it out, its only been five days so maybe my body does need to adjust plus I spent over $200 for propecia, its the name brand and I got it at CVS no online pharmacy. If this persist for another two weeks that I will probably quit and face the reality. I will keep you posted.
  15. So brentipold, are you off propecia now?
