    • Thanks everyone for your reply.  The propecia and proscar froma few years ago I had mixed results, better with generic proscar cut. When I was on topical finasteride, it was before the hims and keeps existed, and fromm out of the US, but I felt it did a good for me.  The fear is always going systemic ☹️ i will look into dustateride if the topical finasteride has side effects.  I am going to try to really follow if there are side effects so keeping my fingers crossed!
    • Yeah, if I do another one it will definitely be with a doctor-only procedure. I don't want to declare this as a failure yet and look like a dummy at 12 months or something where some voodoo happens in the next little bit and hair magically appears, but if I hit anagen desynch soon and it starts looking worse i'm in a VERY bad position. Also, my donor can really only tank one more procedure per Dr. Yaman(including using beard grafts), so if this transplant failed I have some interesting choices to make. I expected on 2 transplants, but if I need 3, i'm kind of fked. kind of holding to see what would come of verteporforin. Would consider Laorwong - contacting Pekiner is an absolute nightmare, I tried to originally with this one. I really have to wait out the final results though because it's going to play a big portion in how i play my cards. However, being a diffuse thinner - I will say that in the moment, I am still very disappointed. I'm definitely sure i'm a slow grower though, so I haven't lost all hope.
    • 900 euros for the consult and 9 euros per graft for the off schedule path. But the off schedule list is already big haha, even for any cancellation. It's like waiting 3 years (if lucky) instead of 5, but there are many factors at play.
    • Hi all, @Melvin- Admin @gillenator @BurnieBurns @DerekWhite   This thank you so much for all of your inputs. Since your recs, I have I have looked at the number of doctors across the world. I think I would like to go ahead and book with Dr. Gabel vs Nadimi vs. Laorwong  What would you guys recommend as a better fit for me? The price is about the same for both US surgeons. Flat 22,500 for Gabel (estimate 2000-2400 grafts) and Nadimi 2000 grafts for 20,000 + $5 after that.  -Laorang seems to be a fraction of the cost at $2.2 dollars graft and thinks he can get 3500 grafts based on pictures. He also also a lot more recent long term patient reviews from what I can see. I reached out to Dr. Laorwong and he responded quickly with a detailed message with frequently ask questions.  I asked to set up a time to do a consultation but he asked me just to email him with questions which turned me off. I e-mailed back a second time just now requesting a consult.  I am a bit concerned with lack of patient/consumer protection going to a foreign country. He also splits the extractions with his assistant and does about 10-50% of the graft placements, so seems like he is less involved than Gabel/Nadimi.  -Gabel's online  reputation appears to be slightly superior to Nadimi and he is more experienced by years of doing this, but I do not see as many long term results from him with photos. Nadimi does appear to have slightly more long term follow up patient reviews -Of the FUEs I have also seen from Gabel, it seems like he is conservative with the extraction count with getting under 2000 on many transplants, even on his web page.   He told me he thinks he can get to 2200-2400 with me based on pictures I have sent him.  The results I have seen online also look good, but did not seem to be as dramatic as some of the other pictures that I have seen posted from outside of the US, including Laorwong -Nadimi does do some of her time doing other non-hair surgeries.   Others I have reached out to but likely not going to go with.  I looked into some of the doctors in Turkey (Dr. Bicer seemed like the price was not that far off US prices like around 13k, Dr Gur seems like the technician does most of the work) Dr. Mohebi seemed good but not as well-known as Gable and slightly more expensive at $12 graft Spoke with the rep from Hasson and Wong but seems like their technicians do a lot of the work Spoke with rep from Shapiro and it seems like he does not do the FUE but subcontracts the extractions out to Josphitis.  I was not able to schedule consult with Drs. Nader (no response to 10+ emails), zarev had a 2 year wait list.
    • I didn't know this was an option as well. I heard his regular rate is about 5 euros/graft. Does anyone know how much he charges to have the procedure done sooner?
