… Gonna take another go at it to get full density …

Are you saying that I need another transplant session to get the density?

I would expect ~2800 grafts were more than enough for my case..

I hope that the last 4 months produce more density for you and I agree nearly 3k grafts should’ve been enough to produce full density have you tried applying fibers like toppik or febron? It would help make it looks very thick

it does look good here

it doesnt look so dense here in the following picture because the way asian hair grows, its not laying down flat but grows up and is also very straight.

so if you want it to appear it more dense you could just product like pomade to style it slick back, at least this is what i suspect

Compared to your first pictures which looked dense packed it seems the density turned out low, your hairline should have been much dense and thicker by month 8

what do you think can cause this?

i think maybe one issue is that the hairline was lowered a lot - it was a lot of completely bald area to cover. In that case i think a second pass is required for decent density. maybe also a low graft survival - was DHT blocker, minoxidil, or blood flow supplement / anything else being used to ensure high graft survival?

Here is the ~8-month update.

Picture taken after a shower and immediately dried.

The planted hairs are still wiry, and I hoped the density improved. Please let me know your thoughts!

Would be nice the get a final update.
Laorwong doesn’t seem to miss, but in this case the density after 8 months didn’t look that good
