Nope, they didn’t charge me extra. I only knew the distribution after I emailed them yesterday. Maybe it was their mistake or they decided that more grafts were required during the surgery.

Yeah that’s nice they didn’t cha the e extra but a little weird they didn’t tell you they were going to do more. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing, personally I wouldn’t mind and would like the added density. Especially if it was multiple grafts they took out that were extra (3+ hairs)

nonetheless I don’t think it’s anything significant if you have enough grafts available.

Donor at the 2nd month:

Scars are noticeable when getting a fade haircut. I see a long brown scar from the headband (used to prevent swelling) which I hope is not permanent.

Actually you can barely tell any work has been done. This is a very tight hair cut that most people cannot achieve after doing hair transplants.

You're only on month 2 and your donor has completely healed.  You are going to have a very good result on the front especially with how much dense packed it is and the good quality of hair characteristics

All the best @Gi29

That looks like great work.. 4 to 7 months is the thickening phase according to some people.. anyway congrats, you mind if I ask you if you're Filipino?

LLLT is proven to improve wound healing by scientific research. I also don't buy much into the hair regrow part. I think its actually better for the donor than the recipient, that's why i'm not super fan of the helmet variant. A LLLT panel on donor should make scars heal better according to current research. On recipient, there isnt that much scar tissue, but yeah, it should help a bit.

I've seen that scar on a lot of his patients. Is it strictly from just the headband? If not, I wonder if it's something else during the procedure causing that scar. Otherwise his work is immaculate

Here is the ~8-month update.

Picture taken after a shower and immediately dried.

The planted hairs are still wiry, and I hoped the density improved. Please let me know your thoughts!

The density does look low to be honest and the hairline is sparse. It should be better than this so far...I Hope it gets improved..
