  1. I had this done actually. Despite Mwamba telling me I could only get 40% out of my donor, he ended up taking 60% because the other 20% was replaced with beard hair. Main rationale is that my beard hair is 3x times thicker in caliber than scalp hair, and I would rather risk donor look less natural than scalp. When kept short, beard hair vs scalp hair is indistuingable, but for very long hair, beard hair can be very noticeable, also, beard heard tends to become grey faster with age and i'd also rather have grey hair on donor and not on top. Personally, I would only have scalp hair on my top. But if you think your beard hair is very similar to scalp hair going the direct route also makes sense.
  2. Mwamba. I tried contacting Zarev many times with no avail though haha
  3. When I had my surgery with dr Mwamba he told me with the pattern extraction method they use, they go for 40% of graft removed from targeted donor. This means, if you have 10K donor available, he will take 4K. This leaves you with 6K, which can be repeated in another FUE for another 2.4K. As you can see, if you want a pattern that is close to undetectable, it has diminishing returns. But a donor with 10-14k follicles can easily yield 6-9k graft with good results. I would say without any donor reconstruction getting more than 60% of grafts out will start being very noticeable.
  4. im at 3.5months 7k FUE, looked exactly like you at 2 months, including massive shock loss in donor. Things are starting to grow now and donor looks almost perfect now, but still much to improve though... This is such an emotional ride, being insecure about transplant result for so many months!
  5. you are at least NW7 and on the verge of becoming Jeff Bezos
  6. bro its only been 3 weeks wtf, it looks way better than most donors at this stage, if anything you could be happy about it. Give it 4+ months as you should for making the final statement.
  7. I wouldnt even dare to transplant with diffusse alopecia and no medication tbh
  8. Not more than 3K but not the best photos + perfect case for medication in case it wasnt started
  9. This is the answer basically (minus the graft that die in the proccedure)
  10. Looks like a surprisingly good job for an unknown clinic. In my opinion 3.4k graft was never enough to give full coverage on such area so don't expect thick results but definetely big improvement for sure! 2cnd HT should seal the deal.
  11. 1k singles should do, which means much less graft can be used if using transected double/triples. Anything between 600-1k graft sounds reasonable
  12. If you really read this forum and still wondering if Turkey is bad and your other choices are Korea and Thailand i'm not so sure you really made proper research 😅 Most bulk of reputable results we have on this forum is from EU and USA doctors. Turkey is highly unrecommended in general.
  13. microneedling is known to flatten keloid and raised scars over time, I would definetely give it a try
