I went in.
Almost can't believe it.
I Choose Dr. Bisanga solely because of this forum. This has been a great experience from the advisor, to the technicians, to the doctor himself. Thank you for the feedback I received on this post:

I drove to the clinic from my home, which is a 14 hour drive. I went home the day after surgery, brought a family member as my driver.

Me at my worst. Day before surgery:

The Surgery was more unpleasant than I first anticipated, but not a problem to power through.

2535 grafts.

Graft breakdown:

1 Follicular unit: 484 grafts

2 Follicular unit: 972 grafts

3 Follicular unit: 1011 grafts

4 Follicular unit: 67 grafts

Total hairs: 5729

Average hair pr graft 2.25

Immediately post op.

I'd love any feedback and reassurance on the upcoming phase.

I'll keep making updates up until day 14, month 1, 2, 3 etc.

Firstly congratulations on choosing a brilliant surgeon. Follow your doctor's post op instructions to the letter if you can. Are you on finasteride or minoxidil? Your hair and skin color make for a perfect match and will aid in the illusion of having more hair. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to following your journey.

Very nice I’ll be following your progress closely. Tagging @follically challenged for a blonde case.

@JC71 Thanks! Ye, I got some great advice on that thread from you. Choosing a european surgeon was definitely the right choice for me.

@folicallychallenged
Me too! I'll keep updating regularly, Blondes are a bit more rare It seems 🙂 . My hair usually changes color depending on the season tho. I'm grey/red during winter and can get really blonde during summer. Not sure have the transplanted hair will react 😅

Hey guys.

This is day 4 pics.

I woke up the other night and was about to scratch my hairline. I was kinda asleep but think I stopped once I noticed the graft. I do sleep with gloves, but they fell of at this point.

Did I loose any graft ? I didn't see any blood coming up afterwards, but it maybe looks like there's a line where I did scratch.
