  1. I just posted my 6 months photos in my blog. If anyone is interested the address is
  2. Looking great mate! crown filling in nicely and you look like a completely new man from your pre ht1 photos!! Fantastic!
  3. $14k I paid about ??7300, but the price would now be about ??9125
  4. Cheers Bill, I have excellent donor, so the plan is to go back in around 2 years and go for a big one again to fill the crown and possibly add density or lower the hairline a bit. FC
  5. A month has flown by since I had my first ht with Dr Feller. I've only recently received the photos and only now have I had the time to put everything together. I stayed at the Andrews hotel in Great Neck, which is a US 3* but is more like a UK 4*, it's a nice little hotel, which I'd recommend to any Dr Feller patient. On the day, my very early 6.50am taxi was a couple of minutes even earlier. I ended up getting to Dr Feller's office just before 7am, which was way WAY too early as I wasn't supposed to be there until 7.45! So I ended up twiddling my thumbs for 40 minutes. Note the journey form the Andrews to the office takes 5 mins! Once the Doc arrived we went to his office where he took some photos, we then discussed my plans, I'd deliberated for a long time about exactly what I wanted done, but I was still very unsure, so I left it up to the expert and let him do his thing! In the end he went for 3,000 grafts in the front half and 1,000 in the crown, I know my crown is still likely to be very thin, but it should give me some coverage and this is something that can be addressed in ht2. The gap left between the two parts is where my hair is at its thickest, but again possibly something to be addressed in ht2. The op itself was pretty painless, the injections are renown as being the worst part, I've read someone liken them to wasp stings and that's about the jist of it, not particularly fun but nothing too heinous, anyway they were over within a few minutes. I then sat there in a valium induced trance for hour upon hour, I think I may have been too high to be bored, because I didn't even ask for the tv to be put on ????? . The op itself wasn't anywhere near as bad as I anticipated it was after I started to feel rough. After it was over and I got out of the chair and I started to feel a little odd, I got the shakes and my breathing quickened. I then proceeded to faint for maybe 10 seconds. It took me I guess about 30 minutes to feel half normal again. Dr Feller put it partly to the adrenalin shots and the fact that I didn't want lunch, as I didn't want to slow the techs down. So moral of the story is unless you want to like me look like a tit and suffer some moderate embarrassment....eat something for lunch ????? The Doc then gave me a lift back to my hotel, I think he was afraid I might never make it back............Dead patients are after all bad for business ????? First night was really tough, I couldn't eat anything, I threw up twice for whatever reason, and I only managed to get to sleep in the early hours of the morning. Though, when I woke up I felt pretty good and I even went down for breakfast at 9.30. All in all I was a provided an excellent standard of service and care by Dr Feller and his staff, I'm only a month out so I obviously can't speak for results yet, but I'm confident. and I'm already putting money away for ht2! The dreaded hair greed has struck again!
  6. Bullit boy, There is an easy way to counter that problem and that is to go with one of the many surgeons who don't charge anything to plant the extra grafts such as Dr Carmen. I think i remember reading somewhere a while ago that Dr Hasson gave someone around 800 grafts for free, i can't find the link but i don't think i made it up
  7. I think you make a very good point Bullit. If the patient can't pay then what happens?
  8. Honestly, in half of that thread i didn't know what you were babbling on about... Switching from FS back to Spex? uh? This really is the last post now, because i've gotta work. Carry on getting angry my friend better out than in
  9. Hey Bill, I wasn't defensive at all, i just wanted to reply to some of what PGP said and reiterate my point. I have a ht booked with Dr Feller on the 17th Oct, so yes i will soon be a Dr Feller patient. I will of course be documentng my progress with clear pictures and a warts n'all account so that others can make an informed decision concerning their ht surgeon, just the same as i did. However, i fail to see how a choice of Dr Feller as my surgeon has any bearing on the validity of my observations in this thread? I'm fairly intelligent and free thinking and i have definately not been brainwashed, i am not a sheep, nor do i have any particular allegiance. I understand that issues may have occured before my presence on the boards, but i am not privy to the substance of those issues. I don't care to be honest, i just want solid hard cold facts/evidence upon which everyone can draw their own conclusions about what is exactly what. I have no issue with the Farjo clinic per se. There are quite a few of their results i've liked, on another forum i've actually made a point of saying that as a fellow NW6, i really liked Balodys transformation. Lastly, I don't wish for anyone to reduce this to a clinic v clinic battle, so i'll withdraw now and i won't post again on this thread. I look forward to seeing some good photos sometime soon. I like many others respect transparancy.
  10. PGP, Again instead of being civil you have to try and resort to aggrevating people to try and win a point, its the sign of a poor argument. (try harder next time to get you little kicks ) I won't post on this thread again, so you can have the last word....i know you like to. 'simple things ay'
  11. PGP, Reading from your other posts I know you have a tendency to keep on and have the last word. But I find your accusations that Spex was aggressive and harassing toward FS inaccurate, for whatever reason I think you are just trying to cause a little bit of aggravation. Read his posts, he was ultra polite in his requests. I find them perfectly reasonable and he only persisted because no direct yes or no answer was given. Also why would I be handing anyone an award for their photography? I may have only been reading the boards for a couple of hours a day for 4 months but my eye sight is 20/20. You can brown nose FS and call me a half brain all you like, but I've had emails from 2 others who align with my thinking. I'd like to see some clear photos before we start declaring Fs the new bobman
  12. I agree with you Bill, from that angle scar looks really good, i'd like to see some more good clear photos tho. Then like i said if i'm proved wrong i'll apologise, until then as far as i'm concerned the juries out. I've gotta go work now, speak 2 you all later.
  13. The word mate says it all? So because i use the same colloquialism as Spex i must what? be a Spex shill or something? Usual charge ay mate? when you post photos on the forums you've gotta be prepared to be scrutinised I'm entitled to my opinion and i merely stated it. Neither your nor i can be proved definitively correct until we see hard clear evidence.
  14. Bill, I stand by my words concerning the dermmatch in his hair, as soon as i saw it, it reminded me of shaun williamson's hair. I can't say why someone would do such a thing, because i can't speak for someone else's state of mind nor assess what is logical to someone else. Neither can i say for definate that he has dermmatch and if i'm proved wrong i will completely apologise. I'm currently writing my thesis and working 3 part time jobs, hence i'm extremely busy. But i do have 30 minutes spare between now and October Also i don't know if there is anything in this, but Fallenstar seemed quite enthusiastic about meeting spex, that was until he said he'd better check with Mick and Dr Farjo. Straight after doing so he was too busy Like i said i have no agenda i just like transparency, like i'm sure everyone else does.
  15. Look i'm gonna cut through the subterfuge/the bs. I hate to question someone's integrity, but i think in those photos Fallenstar has dermmatch in his hair. I would love to be proved wrong and i will apologise to all concerned if i am wrong, its just that i don't think i'm wrong. If i can see it, i think a lot of other people can see it. Furthermore, if posters are going to revere Fallenstar as the next Bobman or Nick Nitro then then we need better verification than those photos. I find the evasivenss of the OP fishy and i also think that if these results are as fantastic as they seem, then the Farjo clinic would be begging and paying Fallenstar to show off his results as a showcase, instead of giving an excuse that FS is busy until October I fail to see why Spex can only meet with this patient after the surgery? Is there something to hide? like the possible removal of a bad scar? PGP i don't know where your coming from mate, but Spex is one of the good guys. Attacking his character by questioning his ethics and accusing him of being a stalker, while you are creating an argument based on untruths and unknowns and purposely misquoting Spex's words to bolster your argument is both a cheek and a farce. I have no agenda, i just think theres a lot of BS floating about in the forums and if clinics want our respect and trust they should offer complete 100% transparency. I've said my piece, i'll wait for you all to start attacking me now.
