I've asked some photos of the beard for feedback on scarring (he just said theres absolutely no scars and the skin feels good quality on the harvested area). It seems that the extraction from face and beard using a small punch may act as a "skin peeling" procedure. All patients refer improvement of skin quality on harvested areas.

I like to tell my patients that:

The most important point in hair restoration is not the size of the bald area, but whether the patient has donor resources to cover it.
