  1. Hello guys, I understand the worries about his donor area. I should indeed have posted more photos of the donor. Here you go, photos with different lighting and taken by the barber, by patient's wife. Btw the patient never complained about his donor even if the previous FUT scar is slightly more visible. I've also asked him specifically photos of his donor.
  2. Click Below and Watch this video (Combthrough and 360º) Age: 48yo NW: 6 Donor Area: POOR Total Number of Grafts: 8128 (875 FU From Beard) Surgical Plan: First session: frontal and midscalp; Second session: midscalp and crown (beard mixed); 1)3401 + 660B - 4061 2)2525 + 667B + 875B - 4067 Rx: Topical and Oral Minoxidil, clobetazol and ketoconazol Shampoo, biotin (NO FINASTERIDE or any other 5-ARI)
  3. actually this is a good quotation 🤓 If I die, please write this on my grave: ✝️ "The most important point in hair restoration is not the size of the bald area, but whether the patient has donor resources to cover it."
  4. absolutely. I like to tell my patients that: The most important point in hair restoration is not the size of the bald area, but whether the patient has donor resources to cover it.
  5. 8 months: Just woke up: back front the gym: night hot tub (wet hair): crown view: posing: He says "he's a younger friend, but look the difference" I've asked some photos of the beard for feedback on scarring (he just said theres absolutely no scars and the skin feels good quality on the harvested area). It seems that the extraction from face and beard using a small punch may act as a "skin peeling" procedure. All patients refer improvement of skin quality on harvested areas. soon more updates
  6. Age: 41 yo NW: 6 Donor Area: GOOD Total Number of Grafts: 10.433 (3.129 from the beard) Number of Sessions: 2 DAYS Surgical Plan: High density on front and middle scalp; good density on crown area Rx: Topical and Oral Minoxidil, clobetazol and ketoconazol Shampoo, biotin (NO ioFINASTERIDE or any other 5-ARI)
  7. He sent me those photos from Spain: Now with only 5 months density still improving Beard healing I'll ask more photos
  8. Lets go! Finally. We are now 5 months from the 4th procedure. I'll post the strategy here first. video first and photos below. STRATEGY Increase density on these areas and advance little bit the hairline. BHT beard leftovers as donor, plus sideburns and chest and abdominal hair. leftovers from beard (notice no scars from previous procedures) INTRAOP Increasing density by transplanting in between previously transplanted grafts IMEDIATE POSTOP SECOND DAY POSTOP (notice fast beard recovery)
  9. Yes and I do BHT with beard as donor on every high norwood classes (in the PRECISE scale a class 5 or higher). I do not chose certain types of beard as a pre requisite to BHT. I mean, I do it regardless of the kind of the beard. Of course the expected result should take this into account though
  10. It is really worth it. Try to do the trip BEFORE the surgery though 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅. How is everything going @Digs49 ?
