  1. I don’t think there is someone with Laorwong skill at his price range, 80 baht is something like 2 usd per graft. And a friend of mine has booked with him early this year for June so I don’t think he’s fully booked for 2024, and even if he does it’s still worth waiting if your budget is tight.
  2. A strong starting point is obviously crucial for the final result. But I’ve seen enough screw ups for patients with a strong starting point in cheap hairmills.
  3. Follicle unit just contains x number of hairs, what matters is hair count. A good donor is above 100 hairs per cm2
  4. Depends on the person, there are men who naturally born with a thin hair, like 80-90 hairs per cm2
  5. There is no need to match the density behind the HT, especially if the area going to thin out in the future. even 50% of our natural density is more than enough. I would agree with you if the patient was in his 30s and very stabilised for a few years. The HT gonna be amazing that’s for sure, let’s hope he’s not gonna lose too much in the future.
  6. I am no expert but spending 6K grafts for a 25 yo seems a lot. Yes you gonna get almost the same as your natural density but what gonna happen 10-15 years from now? There is no guarantee even with finasteride or dutasteride
  7. This is the worst hair transplant in history, but at least no donor damage and it can be fixed with no problems.
  8. Maybe 2, but that’s not androgenic alopecia, this is just a mature hairline. 56 yo and his hair thick as hell.
  9. They actually can see the difference and the quality of your hand, but for some reason they believe it’s possible to get it in hairmills, and you can’t argue with them cause 99% of them do believe it. As I told you I will save up to meet you soon, I know what quality is. Keep up doc, and post more results if possible.
  10. Yes, but most of them there are hairmills lovers and cheapskates, that’s why they ate their heart. I think this guy you operated is called Harrison or something. They honestly believe they can get such quality in hairmills 😂
  11. I saw this guy on one of the facebook groups, everyone ate their heart. You're really skilled.
  12. Meds won’t improve the transplant area too much if at all. Its mostly for maintaining the remaining hair.
  13. As other said, it’s mean confidence because you don’t try to hide it or fight it, but accept what nature gave you. I think if a guy looks good with shaved head due to other features in his face, it’s best to embrace the hair loss.
  14. Yes I get it mate, but I think it’s a wake up call for other youngsters in their 20s to understand that starting 5ARI treatment as soon as possible is the key.
  15. Well that’s the problem, committing religiously after you went full Norwood 6-7 is kinda pointless, I can understand if suffered sides or anything else, but fighting such aggressive androgenic alopecia without constant treatment of 5ARI is pointless. Anyway I wish you luck whatever you achieved.
  16. You gonna need to stop minoxidil prior the surgery and resume afterwards, so simply start afterwards.
  17. I think he mistakenly wrote 2023, he done his procedure only a month ago.
  18. No dude, it depends on the person but natural density is about 100-140 per cm2. 70-80 is for guys which born with thin hair. Anyway, 40-50 grafts per cm2 should be more than enough, as long as the native hair is about the same, otherwise it will look weird.
  19. It’s not about grafts it’s about follicles. A graft can contain 1-6 hairs. So to your answer at least 70-80 hairs per cm2 will give a good looking buzzcut, but only if the native hair is also about the same density
  20. You’ll lose gains if you have thinning areas which minoxidil recovered. Your doc probably want it mostly for the HT follicles, minoxidil really help them at the beginning.
