  1. Finasteride is for stopping or delaying significantly the balding process. Minoxidil is mostly a smoke screen for androgenic alopecia, in the long run it won’t help. The combination of the two is the most intensive treatment, only stronger treatment is exchange finasteride with dutasteride. I don’t see the point starting minoxidil if you don’t have thinning areas.
  2. Yep, surgeons hate young guys with diffuse thinning, cause most of the time it will lead to a failure. But if your hair loss stabilised I don’t see a reason for declining you. I think their fear is you come off meds and all hell break loose.
  3. Yep, I can actually give people places that charge 1000-1500 usd for big transplant 😂 No need to mention what the result will be.
  4. 2600$ is the biggest alarm bell, even the most notorious hairmills charge 3k and above 😂
  5. for the hairline and temples only hair transplant will do, finasteride and minoxidil will fix the crown. But if your wedding is in November it’s still very tight for final results from HT.
  6. You gonna need multiple repairs to remove all of them, I think it’s best to go to top surgeon to perform a camouflage transplant and try to work with it. Which hairmill did this?
  7. He’s one of the best in the world so it is what it is, it’s better to wait 2 years for the surgery than wasting 3-4 years for repairs.
  8. HLC are priced 2.5 per graft as of today. But just because Bek worked there it doesn’t mean he’s better than their current surgeons. Idan the OP, great results, very dense and natural, no needs for meds if the hair loss is stable, just keep an eye on it.
  9. That’s where you wrong, from what I have seen, people with aggressive genetics only delay the inevitable, even with nuclear regimen including dutasteride and other strong stuff. Going completely bald in mid 20s is very rare, do your thinking if you are willing to start this battle or accept it, I wish there was a 100% working treatment but there is none.
  10. If your brothers go completely bald by their 20s it’s mean super aggressive genetics. If you really anxious about the stability of your hair loss, postpone the HT for a year, that will give you a real indication, just make sure to examine yourself properly. There are no guarantees in this thing, it is what it is, HT should be done when you have a lost cause areas, fin/dut/min won’t regrow slick bald areas.
  11. Losing hairs in shower, pillow, brushing or whatever is normal cause we supposed to shed 100 and even 150 hairs a day. Hair loss stability is when there is no excessive shedding and new thinning areas. If your family history is aggressive as you describe then it’s probably that you did stabilise it with finasteride.
  12. I am not 100% sure but I think there was a study showed users return to baseline DHT levels almost half a year after discontinuation, so this stuff is really strong as it seems. If 0.25mg EOD will work? I don’t know because all of us are built different, you can try build up the dosing, using something is still better than not using at all.
  13. So basically if a patient has thick hair he screwed 😂 But I do believe it’s possible even for thick and dense hair.
  14. How Munib find those soft singles? My donor only consist of triples, quads and even sextuplets. Is there actually a place to find such soft hairs? Or Munib actually split grafts?
  15. The Norwood reaper poop his pants, kudos to you and dr Sethi 🫡
  16. 0.5mg eod and even 0.25mg eod will eventually build up in the tissue and lead to almost near results as 1mg daily, but sides will also might reappear.
  17. Thanks doc, but you know sometimes when it’s very good, you want it to be perfect, and only you can make it perfect. But thanks for your honest opinion doc.
  18. Just read it 😂 what a face palm I should have received. Wish I could afford you for the little fix I am interested with, the talent of yours amazing me every time. I sent you details in Private message, my case is easy peasy.
  19. Oh my bad Munib, I didn’t knew he had a previous repair somewhere else and you are the final repair. No surprised you’re the only one fixed him perfectly, as usual 😃
  20. I love how the gentlemen didn’t go for the ridiculous hairline like in hairmills, great result, hair transplant is appropriate at every age.
  21. It’s not just the results on the scalp, your donor seems untouched, Pitalla is something else for a Norwood 6-7.
  22. No, it’s actually 2.5mg in 1ml of application. But less systematic exposure.
  23. In the next months you gonna improve in the thickness and maturing of the transplant, new growth it’s very unlikely. Beautiful result so far.
  24. Every surgeon has his price, check results before price. There are a lot of doctors with high price and crappy results.
